We had the best stay ever! It was our family’s first trip to the beach and our host provided things we didn’t even know we would need for beach trip! We made so many memories and hope to return to this same spot!

I had an incredible stay at this beach house! The location was perfect—just steps away from the ocean! The house itself was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made sure everything was perfect. I especially loved the outdoor area, which was great for enjoying the sea breeze. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful beach getaway!

It was our first time in Surfside beach and had a lovely time. I loved the location, really has a beautiful view and it's beachfront so we could walk up and down the beach. We did a family vacation including my 5 and 2 year old and my sisters baby. Lots of space for everyone. Beautifully decorated. We would book again!

We had an amazing time, the home was just as listed and had everything we needed. The jacuzzi was the cherry on top! The balconies were so relaxing to sip a drink and chill. We definitely recommend it and will for sure be back!

Johnson and Courtney were great hosts. They were very responsive, and were happy to help with any issues we had during our stay. They provided a thoughtful welcome basket for us upon arrival which was a sweet and personal touch. The home was beautiful and the area was peaceful. The clubhouse pool areas were very nice and the kids had a blast spending time by the water. The one downside to this place is location. The area is beautiful and private, but most places for food, groceries, and activities are in Galveston which is a 30+ mins drive to most places. If you are looking for a more private and quiet location, this place is perfect. We enjoyed our time in the area and made lots of great memories as a family during our vacation together.

Vista Del Sol was a peaceful oasis for our family for a spring break trip escape to warmer weather from cold MI! A rarity for rentals in that the house looked exactly like the photos, and was beautifully appointed throughout. The multilevel balconies were a lovely bonus to enjoy the sights & sounds of the preserve. The kids loved the board games, and I was very appreciative of the stocked kitchen to really feel like it was a "home away from home" so we could have some of our meals in when we felt like it. We alternated walking & driving to the beach since it was so conveniently close by. We didn't mind the drive to downtown/The Strand area and could see where being on the quieter west end of the island could really be an advantage during busy summer months to get away from the crowds - especially on the beach areas. Will was super responsive to the questions that I had, and we would definitely recommend the rental to friends & family planning to visit the area!

Our family had a great time staying here and would recommend it to anyone. Everything was spotless and there were plenty of amenities. We did not run out of anything for our stay. It was so much fun being able to spend time on both the upper deck and the doc. It was a fantastic stay and would look for this home to stay in again, as we have family in Galveston and travel often to the island.

We had a fantastic stay at The Purple Palm in Galveston! The house was wonderfully decorated with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
