There are about 200 people that live in Judas Creek, and there is a community center that offers activities including every Friday night there is a dinner and the Jackolope Pub is open. (RSVP for dinner is advised but not necessary).
This is a very quiet community, with a mix of young families and long time Yukoners.
Marsh lake is a good place for a base if you plan to travel to historic Carcross, Yukon or Skagway. Alaska, which could easily be a day trip at only 2.5 hours drive away.

April is the Celebration of the Swans, as Marsh Lake is the first open water found by hundreds of Trumpeter and Tundra Swans. Here they feed and find their mate for life, before flying further north to have their babies. After the quiet winter, Marsh Lakers look forward to the chatter of all the bird life returning.

Marsh Lake is about 70 kms long and flows South into the headwaters of the Yukon River. It is part of the Southern Lakes System that encompasses the communities of Tagish, Carcross and Mount Lorne. A boat is great way to travel around!
