Casa Nina is located in a typical carrugio* alley of VIA SAN BERNARDO street.

Our friends love Casa Nina due to the high ceilings and her quietness.
Should you prefer something more lively, you only need to open the widows to be immersed in the joyful quarter of Sestiere del Molo.
The musicality of the old Genoese dialect echoes around the old carrugi* with the sweet aroma of the ancient sciamadde* churning out farinata and focaccia.
Just below the apartment, you will be able to find trattorie, historic shops, a greengrocery, fish market, supermarket, banks, newsstands, pharmacies as well as patisseries and everything that you should need for your stay....!!

We will be pleased to give you advice on the best and more interesting places..!

* NOTES
• Sciamadda/e – are the ancient bakery/fry shops of Genoa, with a traditional wooden oven where they bake various pies, farinata, focaccia, and very popular with the workers for a nutricious and a quick meal which is usually eaten whilst standing around. In a sense, they were the precursor of fast food restaurants. Today a few can still be found with some only at few steps away from Casa Nina.
• Carrugio/i – are the narrow lanes typical not only of Genoa but of all the Ligurian coast. Being a medieval town, Genoa was built with defense measures and the carrugi were a way to bog down the attacking enemies within these narrow lanes, blocking their advance and then attack them from the high roofs.

Mettiamo a vostra disposizione Casa Nina, un appartamento che abbiamo ristrutturato ed arredato con passione e cura in ogni dettaglio.
