I adored everything about the villa: the rooms, the location, and the view. Everything was flawless. The cabin was impeccably clean. Liv welcomed us warmly and was consistently supportive.

I had a great stay with my family! Nice house with beautiful view of the fjord and mountains. Lots of space, large bedrooms and well equipped kitchen. Short drive to the city center, and a short walk to the local grocery store. Nice outdoor area. Would book again.

Le logement est fonctionnel. Il y a un bel espace de vie, une cuisine ouverte, des chambres indépendantes. le quartier est calme et on peut se balader à pied à proximité et voir une majestueuse cascade. L'accès à Hellesylt se fait en quelques minutes en voiture.

En fantastisk flott plass. Med stor veranda helt nede ved sjøen. Alle sov godt i gode senger. Romslig bad og bra utstyrt kjøkken. Eneste merknad er bratt sti ned til huset fra parkeringsplass, da vi hadde med min eldre mor. Og innvendig trapp var noe vanskelig for en eldre dame. Men med god hjelp gikk det også bra. Kommer gjerne igjen.

We loved our stay here!!! The place was as described and more ♥️ ! You don’t need to go anywhere else, just enjoy the house and the view. Thea is a great host! There were clear instructions and prompt response from her. She was very helpful as well with my queries. If you get a chance to book this place, please don’t miss out!

Beautiful modern home with brand new appliances and incredible views and location. You have an unobstructed view of Geirangerfjord and a nearby waterfall.

The villa is amazing with beautiful views all around, such a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Got to meet Lars, he was very friendly and we had few laughs. 7-11 and bus stop are very near to the place.

Das Haus ist super und hat eine fantastische Lage mit einer großartigen Aussicht. Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt und haben es sehr genossen. Besonders der Wintergarten ist bei nicht so gutem Wetter ein Traum. Wir würden es aug jede Fall nochmal buchen.

Excellent location, the view and spaces in the house are beautiful, and all the necessary tools are available. Everything was beautiful during the stay.

The house is impressive from the doorstep: walked in the door - saw the view from the panoramic windows - fell in love. So you can spend the whole vacation in the living room by the window/fireplace or on the terrace with a grill, and there are toys, books, and a trampoline for children. There are three kitchens in the house: a toy one (thanks for it!), small and basic ones, very convenient! The sleeping floors with bathrooms are separated by a common area, ideal for traveling with children. The house is perfectly zoned, cozy, and functional, in a quiet area, although the highway is nearby - very close to the city with a supermarket. There are many trails available nearby. We enjoyed our start there!

This is a special place! Best of everything Norway has to offer. Quaint island community, a perfect peaceful getaway with easy and scenic drives to Alesund (15mins) or day trips to Loen, Stryn, and Geiranger. Traveled with another family and all had our own spaces, with beautiful accommodations, well appointed & extremely clean. The neighbor kids immediately greeted our two children and fast friends were made. We would sit outside on the deck or pier and listen to sounds of kids laughing and having fun everywhere, pulling fish, snails or crabs out of the water over & over again or playing at the local playground. Not to mention the hospitality of the neighbors (homemade strawberry jam, an evening fishing trip, and some local crab claw snacks). And hiking….. the most spectacular views hiking to Storhornet and back down the ridge to the island school. Meanwhile, the adults enjoyed the endless views from nearly every spot outside or inside the house. Core memories made!

We had a wonderful stay at Sara’s house! The place is cozy, very beautiful, and exceptionally clean. Everything was exactly as described, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was peaceful, and all the little details were thoughtfully taken care of. Highly recommended — we would definitely stay here again!

Turfølget vårt besto av to familier med fem barn, og på det meste var vi ni personer. Flott hus med tre etasjer og en stor veranda - og med absolutt alt vi trengte. Det eneste som var nødvendig å ta med selv var sjampo og balsam (og andre personlige velværeartikler selvfølgelig). Vi satte ekstra stor pris på grillen og utepeisen/pizzaovnen, at det var tilgjengelige leker til barn i alle aldre og at det var mulig å lade elbiler. Vaskemaskin og tørketrommel satte vi også stor pris på som småbarnsforeldre. Fikk generelt raskt svar på det vi lurte på. En kort biltur unna sentrum i Ulsteinvik med et stort utvalg av butikker.

Wonderful and unique property in a stunningly beautiful natural landscape. We wish we could have stayed longer to spend more time here. Easily the best lodging of our trip and likely the best airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. All of the various indoor/ outdoor areas at the property are awesome. And we were very lucky with weather and only one rainy day. It is quite steep/ many steps up and down between the main house, cabin, and boat house with additional lounge areas down by the water so may not be for everyone. Toril and her husband were also so gracious to show us all around the property at check in, even a bit later than expected. This place was very special and would love to stay there again some day!
