To get to the castle is better to put in the GPS Chateu de Rosieres rather than the address in the description. But even without it is well indicated in the village so we reached we not problems. The minute we walked in we felt very welcomed by Bertrand, he is the kindest host i've met, got even upgraded for free to a better room in the castle instead of in the courtyard. The castle itself feels exactly as you would expect from a medieval castle of the 13th century. Appreciate the tour and booklets about the history. Even if the common spaces may feel a bit unfinished, the rooms were impeccably clean and organized. Also, it is warm and not humid at all. With bad weather outside the bathtub was great to have. We didnt spend much time outside, just enough to meet the donkey and the goat in the back. Very friendly. Great location to have a relaxing weekend, a couple walks in the countryside but also close enough to cities like dijon and besancon. Recommend passing by Beze.

Rewelacyjny pobyt Wielokrotnie zwiedzałem podobne obiekty jako turysta i zawsze marzyłem aby zamieszkać w jednym z tych pomieszczeń. Dzięki dwóm wspaniałym i pełnych pasji siostra udało mi się spełnić moje marzenie. Śniadanie było przepyszne, a po nim mieliśmy fantastyczną niespodziankę, całkowicie za darmo mieliśmy wycieczkę po całym zamku wraz z podziemiami

Très bel endroit , vue magnifique sur le Lac ! l'endroit propre et bien équipé, plusieures petites terrasses à l'extérieur, parfait pour prendre l'apéro au calme . Je recommande vivement !!

A beautiful place on the hill above Montreux near Vevey, Lausanne and Geneva. a new experience in Switzerland. Staying in a place like this makes you feel like you're part of the royal family for a moment. The view from the garden on Lake Geneva leaves you breathless. It was a real pleasure to sit with wine and look out over the vineyards, the lake and the mountains above. We want to come back here in the future and see other apartments.

Myself and my friends had an amazing stay at Pietro's family castle! This place is gorgeous with beautiful decoration and timeless furniture pieces that have been collected over many years. A great kitchen for cooking, more than enough space for relaxing and entertaining and bedrooms that are very unique to one another and all super comfortable. The bathrooms are all newly renovated and it is rare to always have hot water in such a historic building (big plus!) We would recommend this for groups of all sizes who want to feel like they are visiting their Italian family at their family home. Thank you Pietro!

J’ai réservé sur un week end la grande chambre double (58m carré) avec la possibilité de coucher tout mon petit monde. Le lieu est incroyable, au calme, en hauteur, dans la verdure. Le château est vraiment sublime (encore plus qu’en photo), notre hôte Kim a su préserver toute l’authenticité du lieu, tout en y apportant une vraie touche de modernité et de chaleur (les rideaux colorés sont sublimes), la sdb est fonctionnelle et à elle aussi beaucoup de cachet. Nous avons adoré faire un petit feu dans la pièce et l’entendre crépiter pendant des heures. Cookie est le petit chien de Kim, un petit être hors norme, gentil et accueillant lui aussi… il adore les enfants ! Un grand merci pour ce moment de partage qui était hyper important pour nous 3, mon fils ne me parle que de revenir. Merci pour votre accueil et votre gentillesse sans failles 🥰

Nous avons été accueilli par Gabrielle qui est d'une douceur, gentillesse et bienveillance tellement agréable. Nous avons eu la chance d'apprendre lors d'une petite visite, l'histoire du château, c'était passionnant. Ce cadre hors du temps nous a fait un bien fou. Tout était parfait. Château Lapeyrouse is located in a beautiful and quiet area close to Lac du Bourget. The castle itself is divided in several appartments on the ground floor and upper floors. We stayed in one of the appartments on the ground floor (with bathroom and 1 sleeping room) on the 1st floor) Beautiful decorated, kept in original style, and a very spatious living room and garden room. The rooms kept very cool, even when temperatures rose well above 30 degrees. The surrounding terrain was excellent, the garden great to sit for dining, the views from the castle over the valley and mountains was magnificent. Not to forget the nice pool to cool off on a hot day. We had great service during reception and afterwards, from the caretaker of the castle. Conclusion: well worth a stay, you’ll feel like a lord of your own castle!

Fantastic experience and great value . Stunning castle in a beautiful location. Well appointed apartments. Attentive host. A few issues with ants, but it is a castle after all, and Celine was quick to help resolve the problem. Great place for kids.

We loved our stay here! The staff was friendly and the unique accommodations were exactly what we were looking for. Note that if you stay at this spot, the walk up to the castle is quite steep. In the future, we would likely arrive by car rather than public transit because the last block of walking is exhausting, especially with bags.
