We had a really nice stay. The location was excellent. Loved the short walk to the beach and town. The golf course and park being on either side made for a peaceful setting. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was fresh and clean. My husband and I traveled with my folks and our two teens - 6 humans and 2 dogs total. It was the max capacity for the home but very comfortable and a great setup.

WOW! Talk about a view! You can't help but smile when you walk through the front door and see the amazing view of the ocean. The house was beautiful, clean, and had everything and more that you could possibly want/need. I will definitely stay here again, it was amazing!

The house was very nice. Everything was very clean, well equipped and modern. There was a lot of space for many people, you could bring your kids, and you can have a fire pit outside. Brett responded fast and there was no issues with him. I would recommend this place to everyone. This women’s retreat would not have been possible without this place and Brett. We will be back!

My friends and I visited from Portland for the weekend, and we had a wonderful time at Max's place! The location is fantastic - easy to find and a quick two minute walk to the beach - and the house itself is charming and cozy. The fireplace was a hit, especially in the chilly evenings or after taking a dip in the freezing ocean. It warmed up the top level and we were comfortable the whole time. Check in was easy, there was plenty of space for our party of four, and we loved it. I absolutely recommend staying at Max's place!

Our family enjoyed every moment of our 4 nights in this home. The vibe is super peaceful and cozy. The kitchen was more stocked than any rental kitchen we have been in. The view from the deck and the sound of the ocean was truly incredible. The walk to short beach is only a couple of minutes. We also walked to Oceanside beach a few times and it took about 22 minutes - you have to walk on the road but cars were super courteous. We discovered that the owners of the Market/deli in Netarts are vegetarian and they had some really great food options available - the samosas were super yummy! The Wi-Fi at the house worked great. We brought our two dogs and the gated deck was awesome for them! There are lots of puzzles and books to choose from too. Water pressure in the showers met the approval of our whole family ☺️. It was great to have the garage available so we could keep sandy shoes and wet towels there instead of in the house. We loved every moment of our stay and hope to visit again. ☀️

Absolutely fabulous place, beautiful sights. Amazing house. Loved the early check in and late check out. We will definitely stay here again if available. Easy walk to the beach. We really enjoyed watching the weather and having a fire.

We had a great time at Craig’s place in Oceanside. Amazing view of the ocean, spacious living room, full kitchen. Craig gave great directions and lots of good recommendations. I would love to stay here again when we come back.

Our stay at Riad and Amy's place was amazing. The house was clean, has great amenities and was well-stocked with everything we needed. We'd love to stay here again!

We traveled from Montana with another family to adventure the area during our kids spring break. The house accommodated everyone (8 people) very well! We were able cook meals here often and take in the ocean views. Very quick walk (across a busy street) to the beach. The beds are super comfy and having 3 full bathrooms was a plus. This house was exactly what we needed!

We can't wait to go back to Clare's place! We had a great weekend getaway and the house was just what we needed. We traveled with our 2 year old son and our dog and everyone had fun! Clare made sure to tell us there was a pack and play available. And there were even kids books in the living room! The home is cozy and very clean. A well stocked kitchen and a grill in the back is much appreciated for weekend trips. We will definitely be booking again! Thanks Clare!

lovely home, loved the big bathtub in the upstairs bathroom. there is alot of stairs which after a long day of walking kinds tucked but loved that I was separate from the other bedrooms. kitchen had everything you would need, including some spices in the cupboard. lots of games, flash lights and binoculars which I thought was great. Instructions say to put recycling in the garage, sadly as soon as you open the door you do smell alot alot of chemicals. she does let you know about ants so we just made sure to clean up every time we ate and were very careful but still there were ants through out the house. I am not sure about the beds down stairs but up stairs bed is firm which was fine first night but I have horrible back issues so I didn't sleep well the rest of my stay, but honestly I did love the place so I would stay again :). She provides laundry soap, shampoo, body wash, dish soap, dishwasher pods. would have loved to have had coffee, but for the price can't beat it. Will be back

This place is a gem—it’s even better than the pictures. The yard is fantastic for kids with plenty of privacy and space to roam. Our kids especially loved the huge sandbox, swings, and toys that were in the house. The house being within walking distance to the beach was an added bonus, and Melissa was responsive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend for larger groups or families with young children.

We booked a second annual trip to Manzanita specifically to stay at Sarah’s place because of how wonderful it is! The house is easily accessible, well stocked with all items, comfortable and SO aesthetically pleasing! It’s minutes from the beach and has a wonderful view, all while feeling private despite being right next to other homes. I cannot recommend this place enough, and Sarah as a proactive, accommodating and helpful host! We would love to come back next year!

Things we loved: Location: Lots of beach area that we pretty much had to ourselves the whole week. We flew kites, played football, walked the beach and even had a few campfires. View: Awesome view from the 2nd story condo. We watched a sea lion bask in the sun one day and a bald eagle find its dinner each night. Kitchen: Great kitchen that has everything to prepare all your meals. We stopped by Costco in Portland and Safeway in Tillamook and cooked our own meals. (Grocery store in town is small) Space: Great size for 2 adults, 2 teens and a lab. Host: Very responsive and helpful. Things to consider: Dining space: There is no dining table, just a bar, so if it’s rainy and you want to play games that can be tricky. Stairs: There are quite a few stairs to the condo, we knew this ahead of time so we were prepared for it, but it still made loading and unloading quite a bit more difficult. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again!

Our stay was fantastic from start to finish! The house was immaculate and well appointed, any questions or concerns were addressed timely and in a friendly manner by the host, and the view was breathtaking. I highly recommend this house and host having stayed at many spots in Rockaway over the years. We would absolutely book and stay again!

We had a great stay at Kathleen & Dan’s! The house was very clean & had good space for us. They have a good selection of movies & games. We were in a good, private location to be able to access different things in Rockaway & to get on the road for other coastal towns. There’s a yummy coffee drive thru right nearby too. 😊

My family and I enjoyed the house, the beds were super comfortable, the hot tub area was cute, it had a little bit of everything for everyone

The place was fantastic. Steve was very responsive if anything came up. We coordinated sorting out some Internet service issues. It all went well and got corrected. The place was clean. Location was beautiful. We had a great time and no complaints! We would visit again.

The views were beautiful. The home was very clean. Hot tub, fire pit & host-provided beach toys/chairs were great. The deck was nice for enjoying the views. Tunnel beach was charming & a short drive but I would not describe it as walking distance for my kids (4&8) and would be difficult to haul all the things down that you need for time spent on the beach. The kitchen felt very small - I stayed w/my parents & my 2 kids. We love to cook but this was not a kitchen you could have more than 1 person in at a time. There is NO cell service - you must use wifi to use your phone for calling/texting. It took me about a day and a half to get this resolved w/my provider once I got there which was not the host’s fault of course, and they did let us know ahead of time that there would be no service, just was an annoyance for me. The only other thing was the temperature in the home. It would get up to 80 degrees during the afternoons even w/the shades all closed & took all night to cool off

The hot tub water was very dirty when we arrived- chemicals smelled off and the water was greenish grey. However, once we told Bonnie, she had a guy there to change the water and sanitize it within an hour, so not dinging her ratings for that. Water was crystal clear/smelled great after cleaning/changing it. Everything else was great- plenty of things for the kids to do, quiet area, fenced in backyard, and very close to Pacific City.

Great seaside place! Worth a visit for sure

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We really liked the layout of the place and it’s in a very quiet neighborhood, away from the main road. The large sectional in the main living area was comfortable and a great area to relax. The (king) bed was also comfortable. The kitchen is fairly well equipped, though we didn’t find a few key essentials like olive oil, salt/pepper for cooking. The fenced in backyard was a wonderful perk for our 2 dogs. It was a short walk (~5 min) to beach access which was nice. We look forward to staying again!

Our stay at Sandra's house in Rockaway was wonderful. The house was clean and very well stocked (we kept being pleasantly surprised at how many "extras" we found, from all of the kids toys and books, to board games, to s'mores fixin's and even a sound machine in one of the bedrooms!). It definitely felt like a home away from home and you can tell that Sandra puts a lot of care into hosting. The location was perfect too - close to the beach, close to playgrounds and right across the street from the main strip. We didn't have to drive anywhere during our 3-day stay. Even though the house was located in the middle of it all, it was nice and quiet inside. My kids loved that the train went right by the house and they could wave to the passengers from the front yard! Sandra was a very helpful and welcoming host. If our travels bring us back to Rockaway, we would definitely stay here again!
