Retour d'un séjour magnifique dans le Sud où Madhav nous a accueilli dans sa maison située à 3 min en voiture de la magnifique plage de Riambel et des activités telles que la Roche qui pleure, Gris Gris, Jardin de Telfair, Cascade Mamzelle, Rochester falls, St Félix.. vous serez charmés par ce paysage sauvage qui s'offre à vous et par l'incontournable sunset sur la plage de Riambel ! Madhav est un hôte bienveillant qui vous acceuille avec son sourire authentique, sa belle énergie et ses attentions délicates pour se sentir aussitôt à l'aise. Il est très agréable, réactif et sait établir une relation de confiance en invitant à plonger dans la vie locale et ses trésors. Il connait très bien son environnement et partage sa vision de son pays avec beaucoup de lucidité. Ce fut une très belle rencontre et nous le remercions pour nos échanges enrichissants et ses bons plans. Pour finir, dégustation du Mine frit au restaurant Rochester, où il travaille en famille, pour parfaire votre séjour !

Все было прекрасно! Большая, просторная, чистая квартира на первом этаже, в которой есть все необходимое для жизни. Очень приятные, отзывчивые хозяева, которые помогут вам, если вы к ним обратитесь. Во дворе прекрасный сад. Нам с мужем все очень понравилось, если приедем еще на Маврикий, обязательно вернемся в этот дом! Большое спасибо за гостеприимство!

Jean is a great host. His place is very beautiful surrounded by nature and birds. Jean was very kind to me by giving me a lift to places of interest when he goes out for the day. Most importantly, when something personal happened to me and I have to leave the country. He helps me to get my flight and immediately took me to the airport, without any hesitation. Excellent accueil de Vinesh et son épouse, Vinesh est venu me chercher au Tram car je me suis trompé de parcours, merci encore! logement très spacieux, pratique et confortable, vous pouvez rester dans le logement pour vous reposer, travailler ou lire car il est agréable. Pas de vus mer bien sûr mais vous êtes au coeur de l'ile Maurice, type de séjour que je recherchais. Pas de restaurant gastronomique mais vous trouverez divers lieu pour une cuisine locale et plus, ce qui permet aussi de discuter avec les gens du quartier, petits commerces de base immédiatement à proximité. A 15 petites minutes, le tramway, très pratique et impeccable, pour rejoindre très vite 4 bornes, Phoenix, Port Louis ou Curepipe où vous trouverez les correspondances par bus vers chaque points de l'île: Grand Baies, Mahébourg Souillac, Flic en Flac.....

I Stayed here for 3 weeks. Host was on time for arrival and departure. Good communication before arrival also. (English Translator was present) The basics were already available so no need to go to the shop as soon as i got there (toilet paper / Black bag in bin / some salt and pepper / Tea and coffee / bathroom towels ) that was a bonus. Good job! The place was very clean. WIFI was at full strength with no hiccups for 3 weeks. There is a TV but never watched it. Great pool area. 5 min from beach and supermarket. Many shops and restaurants close by. Some board games available to finish off the nights . Nice modern & medium size fridge. All appliances were working ( kettle / fridge / stove / washing machine etc ) Beds were good_ Type Medium / Hardish. All Aircons working except one does not have a remote. Overall A very good 3 weeks. This place will not disappoint and is perfect to stay wile enjoying Mauritius. I Highly recommend it!! Great Job Odile & Doreen!! See You Again Some Day!

Sabrina ist eine sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei ihr genossen! Wir durften früher einchecken und länger bleiben. Beim Einchecken haben wir direkt viele Empfehlungen für verschiedene Aktivitäten bekommen. La Gaulette ist ein schöner kleiner Ort, ein Supermarkt und einige Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Le Morne Strand ist nur 7 Autominuten entfernt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, es gab frischen Obst, und Spiegelei wurde frisch zubereitet. Meinem Freund hat nur Käse oder Gemüse gefehlt, da er herzhaftes Frühstück bevorzugt :) Danke, Sabrina (und das Team), für diesen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt!

I am sooo glad I came across this hidden gem! I stayed in the deluxe VIP room with mountain and ocean view. The view was breathtaking and so peaceful. The room itself had ample space and all the amenities that you need. I slept so well and felt right at home. Breakfast is fantastic. Fresh fruits , eggs and pastries, yum! From start to finish, Sabrina was so responsive and helpful with her suggestions of what to do around the area. Sabrina made me feel right at home. All the staff were amazing! Make sure you go to Gregory’s secret restaurant (he has a cute spot just a few blocks away) and makes absolutely anything you want. You ask him, and he will make it! Easy access for excursions on boat or to go to La Morne beach. Also if you love hiking make sure you hike the La morne mountain. Breathtaking views. Overall I am extremely happy with my stay here and will definitely be coming back. I cannot thank Sabrina, Gregory, Jean Pierre, Tracey and all the staff who made my stay extra special!

J’ai passé une excellente semaine dans ce logement. Tout était impeccablement propre à notre arrivée. L’endroit est très calme, parfait pour se détendre, avec une piscine superbe, très bien entretenue. La vue sur la mer est tout simplement incroyable, un vrai bonheur chaque jour. Je recommande sans hésiter et j’y reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

The accommodation was great. Very large space and the terrace with views to the garden and the ocean was just amazing. You will find everything you need there. The kitchen was fully equipped. And overall the accommodation was great.

Sabrina & Jean-Pierre are warm-hearted, communicative, lovely hosts with a lot of passion for their 8 bed guesthouse (very clean!) with amazing views and sundowners over the ocean. They share sightseeing tips, recommendations and can arrange tours. We were even invited to a birthday party, which was a lot of fun to get in contact with local people. The breakfast was local food, containing of regional fruits. In the evening dinner was available if enough people (4+) interested. The quality was amazing with homemade food and special rum as a finish. You can get in touch with other guests, which was great. The house is situated in La Gaulette, a surfer/kite surfing hotspot. In a 5-10 Minutes driving distance is Le Morne, one of the sightseeing/„postcard like“ highlights, which we highly recommend. Great restaurants are in walking distance. Will come back when in Mauritius!

The area is great for anyone interested in activities. sea activities are less than 10 minutes away and nature and hiking are 20-40 minutes by car. The room is very clean and the bed is comfortable and the view is very nice from the 2nd floor rooms. The breakfast is delicious and the staff are friendly. The iron can be borrowed from the cleaning staff upon request. highly recommended in general.
