What an incredible place!! There was lots of really interesting information available about the location - the only national reserve where you can stay the night! The hut was very cosy, and the fireplace kept us very warm. It was quite easy to use the kitchen, just keep your meals simple. We were treated kindly and inclusively. I would recommend this to anyone!

We had a really lovely stay here- the beds were really comfortable! Like a little mini hotel room with a kitchen! Paul is super friendly and helpful. Thank you! Hopefully we will come and stay again next year!

Loved the authentic eco credentials - plastic free toiletries, washing up cloth, eco friendly products. The shepherds hut was real cosy and comfy. Bore place is a wonderful spot with far more nature than I would have expected in the southeast! Chris was super friendly and helpful and this was a fabulous stay.

molly dishwasher is in an absolutely stunning location the pictures don't do justice to how stunning this place is your surrounded by the most beautiful views in the most peaceful location, me and my family had the most amazing 2 nights staying here and the little personal touches added on top just make it that much more special, moppy is an amazing host and let the boys help feed the animals on the last night which they absolutely loved, there is another hut on site but you cant see them so you have amazing privacy. I can see why lots of people who stay here are on there 7th visit as its a place you'll want to re visit after staying. we will defiantly be back soon, thank you for an amazing stay.

Beautiful place, with everything you could need for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The views were amazing from the decking and the hot tub. The hut has everything you could need for a few nights stay. The hosts were very helpful and instructions for check in were really clear. I would definitely go back

My 11 year old son, my dog and myself had one of the most pleasant in this beautiful cosy comfortable guy with the most pleasant view from the patio as you open the door overseeing the lake. The pictures don’t do this place justice - you have to see it to believe how pristine it is. We all slept comfortably and we enjoyed spending time in the garden and surrounding. Perfect place to recharge and connect with nature. We had everything we needed to cook and entertain, we were allowed to have a campfire by the lake and this was the highlight of our stay. We are planning to come each season to be by nature and Grants hospitality is one of the most accommodating. Thank you again for a pleasant stay and we shall see you again.

I had a wonderful stay at Christina's place. The Shepards hut was super cozy and comfertable, i could even watch bunnys running over the field while looking out of the window. Christina was really friendly and caring, which made me feel at Home right away. I would love to stay there again!

I can not recommend enough!! My partner and I had an absolutely idyllic time here getting away from London for a long weekend with our dog. Hannah and Mark were lovely people, very helpful, and the pictures (though they are beautiful) do not do justice to the hut - it was absolutely peaceful and picturesque (we went in late July), with plenty of walks, a firepit, and all the amenities you could need. We had one of the best weekends away we've ever had, and we were very sad to leave at the end!! 10/10 experience all round - if you're reading this, go for it!!

We loved our night away here - it was the most beautiful Shepherd's Hut, and decorated to such high standards. Although we didn't use it, the garden was a great addition and the private parking made such a difference. The host was super helpful with information about the stay and with local restaurant recommendations. Overall, this really exceeded expectations and will look forward to finding a reason to come and stay again soon!

Was an amazing stay. Incredibly peaceful, with lots of great walks. The Shepard’s hut and hot tub were amazing.

We had a fantastic few days staying in Emma and David’s hut Daisy. It was so peaceful amongst the Christmas trees and was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of London. Emma and David are absolutely lovely and are great hosts. I would definitely recommend staying in Daisy.

The photos just don’t do this place justice, it’s even nicer than it looks in the photos if that’s even possible. Great communication, Kelly was happy to answer any questions we had and even set up the hot tub before our arrival so we could use it on the first night. The views are amazing, the village is beautiful. The bus into Canterbury was easy to navigate and the dinner at the Kings Arms was amazing. The hut is beautifully set up for a luxuriously relaxing time and that’s exactly what we had. Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you Kelly and Robey, your hard work and attention to detail are much appreciated

Perfect overnight stay in this secluded spot.

A friend and I stayed here for a girlie night away and it was absolutely perfect in every way. The facilities and layout of the Shepard hut was done to absolute perfection and more than we could have expected. We will definitely be returning together again or with our partners. Andrew was an amazing host, the shepherds hut is an absolute credit to him and also the surrounding land, it's absolutely stunning and so peaceful. Can not wait to return xxx

Our stay at the Owl hut was stunning. Anne-Marie was helpful, thoughtful & friendly. Anne-Marie was welcoming when we arrived & said if we needed anything at all to just ask. The Owl Hut is situated in it's own private area and we was left to our own device's. The views around the area where stunning, it was quiet & peaceful as well. The hut it's self had everything in it for our stay & was so cozy. We would highly recommend the Owl hut & we will definitely be back.

Lovely place for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of urban life. But still close to London. Wonderful views, peaceful vibe and lovely surroundings to walk or run. Although the instructions to get there were accurate, our navigator mistook the actual place. But getting there was just part of the adventure. Shoreham is also a beautiful village to walk around. The hosts greeted us on arrival and gave us helpful tips to enjoy the area. Overall, this is a highly recommendable place.

We absolutely loved staying in Clare's Shepards Hut. It was really nicely decorated and very clean with all you need even in a small space. Check in was really easy and the breakfast was a really lovely touch. We stay two nights and were offered additional items for the second morning.

We had a wonderful stay here at Michelle’s beautiful home. It was cosy, clean and exactly what we were looking for whilst needing a relaxing break! Michelle’s communication and kindness was outstanding, we look forward to coming back! Thank you for your hospitality!

My partner and I stayed here too celebrate her birthday - and we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay! Surroundings are beautiful and the area is lovely and peaceful, with plenty of open spaces to take the dog for a walk. Pubs & shops within walking distance, and the local taproom was perfect for a Friday evening. The animals on the farm gave the place a home feel and the hosts were really lovely - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely beautiful little hut nestled deep in nature, surrounded by miles of scenery. The hut itself was homely and had everything you needed. From linen, towels, toiletries etc. We had a lovely morning breakfast hamper delivered, nicely packed and thought about with fresh juices and milk. My favourite was the heated log burner hot tub. A must do under the stars. And the sounds of bird song each morning is always a nice start to the day. I booked this for a break away from parenting and a busy work life, for me and my partner. Get back to basics and reconnect with out the distractions of technology. Unfortunately the shower is either hot or cold no in between. And a bit fiddly. As I learnt from this stay, is actually exactly like my partner. Turns out the distraction of phones was more greater my advantage, seeing as I found out he thought the grass was greener the other side. If he ever asks if you have any IBCs. Please fill it with cow or piss and accidentally spill it over him

Absolutely fantastic cabin in a great location with lovely view. Perfect spot to sit around the fire pit. Our dog absolutely loved sniffing around the trees. The plough is great pub for dinner only a short walk away. Make sure you take USB leads, as we could only find 2 USB ports for charging in the downstairs kitchen. Or a couple portable chargers like we luckily had. We would definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at the hut. It was a beautiful setting, immaculately clean, peaceful and safe for our little sausage dog. Emily and her family were so friendly and kind and Moose and Dave the dogs were gorgeous. The hut had everything we needed for a perfect weekend and Emily gave lots of helpful recommendations for local amenities. We would definitely return and highly recommend a stay here. Wow! absolutely loved Annie's place. The views were incredible. I loved sitting on the deck, reading a book and watching the horses. The hut was clean, smelt amazing and looked beautiful. The bathroom was small but had everything we needed. A heater was provided as well as the log burner which came in handy for the crisp morning and evenings. The bed linen was so soft and the bed was so cosy! Would love to stay again.
