We booked Harshit’s place for 2 nights on New years. I did the booking very hastily, just going by the reviews. But after visiting the place, i can say that it surpassed all of our expectations. 2 days at Old British house turned out be just the kind of escape we had been looking for. We were mesmerised by the old, rustic charm of this place and how well it is preserved over generations. Rooms were spacious with artfully decorated corners, clean beddings and neat bathroom. This was more like a bonding vacation for the kids ( 4 year old & 6 year old) who were meeting after a year. And at Old British house we didn’t had to take any extra effort to keep them busy. They enjoyed early morning encounters with monkeys, spotted new birds, climbed mango tress and ran around the spacious lawn. Bon fires & start gazing at night were great too. A very special mention to mr. Raj for accommodating all of our requests. Thank you Sehgal family for a memorable stay. Looking forward to visit again.

The Guest house is just as mentioned in the description - serene, calm, centrally located and radiating with positive energy. I would like to thank the monks for the wonderful hospitality that was shown. Highly recommend it to the seeker and those wishing to experience a comfortable stay along their spiritual journey.

La Casa is definitely a great option for your stay in Haridwar. Staff are helpful and friendly. The location is great, walkable or short ricksha ride to the main sites and train and bus station. Just be aware that the central location while convenient means there is the street noise and noise from the parade in the morning, but that's a big part of the Haridwar experience! Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff. We reached almost 4-5 hours earlier than our check in time without prior notice. Ritika was very considerate of our situation and arranged for a spare room until the actual room was ready. We rested well. The location is very beautiful and has a restaurant in 1st floor which serves good breakfast. Cross road mall is right opposite and there are plenty of restaurants just 100mtrs away from the stay.

It was a short trip, however time spent was good at this place. Rajiv ji is very polite and friendly host.

1. Location is great, can easily get auto to any place in Haridwar. Around 15 mins walk to Ganesha Ghat which is less crowded than Har ki Pauri 2. Room has geyser, smart TV, AC, comfy bed, clean washroom 3. If you are looking for amenities/location and can compromise on ambience, this is the perfect place 4. I faced some issue with geyser in my previous room, the host was kind enough to provide an adjacent room on short notice 5. Also, their day staff (Chandan I guess) makes the best tea in Haridwar.
