The Garden Cottage

This is a charming flint cottage in a gorgeous rural setting. This period detached property offers relaxed, comfortable accommodation with unique character. Perfect for weekend getways or working trips. The property is situated with the grounds of a larger house backing onto meadows with sheep grazing and uninterrupted views of Suffolk countryside. The main living area is open plan with a lovely modern kitchen with table and chairs for eating at. A large leather sofa for relaxing and unwinding looking out onto your own private courtyard. In the bedroom a sumptuous king size bed to snuggle into at night and a delightfully quirky en-suite bathroom await you. In the morning enjoy a breakfast of delicious eggs laid by my chickens as I will leave breakfast essentials for you.

Wolf House

Wolf House is a Victorian terraced house located within the heart of Bury st Edmund’s medieval grid, so very central. A short 5 minute walk to the town centre, the historic Abbey gardens and Angel hill, Theatre Royal (the last surviving regency playhouse in Britain), Greene King brewery plus a large selection of independent shops, bars and restaurants. Bury has a very good twice weekly market with regular makers and farmers markets every month. Some free parking can be found but not guaranteed.

This eco friendly home has air sourced underfloor heating throughout and contains many upcycled items from the exterior reclaimed scaffolding boards to the many repurposed gems to be found inside. Pipistrelle is a beautiful, purpose-built holiday home in the heart of the peaceful Suffolk countryside. This stunning property overlooks the village green to the front and paddocks to the rear and has been designed with flair and includes many eco-features. The conveniences of the village are just a short stroll away: The Weeping Willow, with its fabulous culinary offering, village shops and a fish and chip shop. It is a 15 minute drive to the historic cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds.

A cosy and stylish home near to the town centre

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This little end of terrace house is situated in a quiet little cul-de-sac close to the centre of the historic and beautiful town of Bury St Edmunds - a 10/15 minute walk at most. My home is neat and stylish and always welcoming whatever the season. If you are coming to stay in summer I have a lovely private garden and if you stay in autumn or winter you will find the house particularly cosy. And I have good parking outside too!

Holm Oak Barn has all the character of a historic building and comfort of a modern barn conversion. The open plan living area is very spacious and has a wood burning stove. The picture windows have views across the surrounding nature reserve. The barn is wheelchair accessible. All 3 bedrooms have en suite bathrooms one of which suitable for wheel chair users. Private patio area, garden furniture, parking, use of shared landscaped gardens, games room and laundry room.

The house was tastefully decorated in July 2023 and comprises of a full kitchen, king bedroom with shower ensuite and a double bedroom with shower/bathroom to suit up to four guests. Located a 30 min stroll to the Abbey Gardens, St Edmundsbury Cathedral and the many restaurants/cafes of Bury St Edmunds. The house is also only a 30 min walk to the West Suffolk Hospital, so is an ideal base whether it be to explore Bury or to visit patients or work at the hospital.
