My friend and I have chased the aurora around various parts of Northern Norway for photography five different years and stayed in many Airbnb's while doing so. I'd say Hallgeir's beautiful and spacious place is right up there in quality. The place was exceptionally well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The location is wonderfully positioned for daytime and aurora photography, with North Northeast to Southern exposure and some unique compositions right on the property. Save for one bright light NNW towards a mountain, you have a large view area to see the aurora. I bet the summer and fall hiking is spectacular. We would absolutely stay here again.

Da Guntars ci siamo sentiti come a casa. L'appartamento è bellissimo e dotato di ogni comodità, splendida la vetrata con vista e comodissima la fermata dell'autobus sotto casa. In casa abita un gatto molto socievole che ci ha tenuto compagnia per 3 giorni. Tutto perfetto!

Rent og pent. Hyggelig å finne kaffe og te tilgjengelig. Bra at private skap og skuffer var merket. Bra internett. Mange muligheter å velge nellom på TV'n.

Location, location, location! Kristian's place is right in the middle of Stroget and less than 5 minutes from the metro station. The apartment is large and comfortable. Our family of 5 had plenty of space to relax, and the apartment was well equipped with everything we needed. Kristian was also extremely communicative and helpful. We appreciated the flexible check-in as well as the ability to drop our luggage before check-in. Overall a great stay!

This Airbnb is truly the best place to stay in Tromsø! The home is incredibly comfortable and cozy, and its location is simply perfect. We were lucky enough to witness the Aurora Borealis almost every night at Telegrafbukta, just a short 2-3 minute walk away. Public transportation is also extremely convenient, with easy access to buses connecting to all major attractions. The host went above and beyond by providing an abundance of amenities and food supplies, making our stay even more special. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As a group of eight, we made unforgettable memories here—ones we will cherish for a lifetime. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Tromsø!

Nina's home is wonderful. Great location for Tromso and surrounding area. Good size for 4 of us staying as a family. Spotlessly clean and everything you'd expect and more. A local guide left for us along with a small welcome treat. Communication with Nina was fast and clear. Check in was smooth with a coded lockbox. Cannot recommend Nina's house enough for a calm and cosy getaway to the beautiful area of Tromso. Upon arrival, the house was lovely and warm which was very welcomed as it was -2 degrees outside. Views across water over to Tromso island was stunning with mountains in the background. Local supermarket only a few mins walk away with easy bus connections. We drove a hire car and could park right outside. This place was a great find and if we come back to Tromso, we'd happily stay here again.

We were 8 people staying in Heidi's house for a week, focused on active spending of time (skiing, skitouring, hiking, ...). It was a great time - thank you for that! The good: 1. The house is very spacious, very comfortable with 8 people. 2. The living room is just the best 3. The location of the house is very good, close to city and airport yet in nature. 4. Heidi was super responsive and kind There is some room for improvement: with this price point I would expect the kitchen equipment to be more complete (e.g., we had the feeling that there is not enough knives and they are blunt, pans are cheap and scratched, cork stuff to put hot pots on top missing...), the fireplace came without the fire iron - weird, there were no matches just an not working lighter... Also, the heating system in the house seems to be a bit insufficient: we were using the fireplace all the time - would be cool if wood was supplied. But all this can be improved. All in all we love the satay!

Hyvin ystävällinen ja avulias isäntäperhe, vastaa nopeasti jos kysyttävää. Erittäin siisti paikka ja loistava sijainti. Sauna oli ihana. Keittiö on melko pieni ja katto matalalla, mutta silti oikein hyvä kohde jopa 5 henkilölle. Ympäristö on upea, helppo lähteä vuorille.

Apartment was incredible and perfect for our family of 3. If you want to be away from city center, this is the place for you. Local transportation is within walking distance and very reliable even during a snowstorm. Knut was welcoming and helpful. Can’t recommend Knut’s place enough.

We had a lovely stay in Mathias’s home. The flat looks just like the photos, and it’s a quick and easy 10-15 minute walk to most shops, restaurants, etc in central Tromso. Conveniently located to the wonderful Vervet Bakeri nearby. Would stay here again!

Für uns war es super, mit dem Bus erreicht man schnell alles in Tromso. Busse fahren regelmäßig, alles unproblematisch, auch spät vom Flughafen hin oder früh am Morgen zum Flughafen. Wir sind rund um zufrieden gewesen, die Gastgeber sind stets erreichbar!

I loved staying at Henriette’s place! Easy access to the city via bus (which came pretty often + few bus options) and the studio was perfect for my needs as a solo traveler. Henriette was also super helpful - she allowed me to leave my bags at her place when I got to Tromso in the morning and even offered to let me borrow winter boots when it was snowing hard. Great host, great stay!

Einfach eingerichtete und gemütliche Wohnung an hervorragender Lage. Sehr gute Erreichbarkeit mit Bus oder Auto. Der Folkeparken ist zu Fuss in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Ørjan und Maria sind sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Fragen werden blitzartig beantwortet. Wirklich empfehlenswert.

fantastisk fin leilighet å bo i! hadde med oss en gjeng utstillingshunder, var ikke noe problem å ha de med. rent og pent når vi kom, koselig velkomstlapp på bordet. godt utstyrt leilighet der det bare var å flytte rett inn. følte seg som hjemme 😊 ser andre har kommenter om støy fra hovedhuset, dette var absolutt ikke til plage for oss. tusen takk for fint opphold, Susanne!

Wir hatten eine grossartige Zeit in der Hütte und konnten fantastische Nordlichter direkt auf der Terrasse beobachten. In der Hütte findet man alles was man braucht und sie ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir waren zu sechst (3 Paare) 1 Woche da und haben regelmässig Ausflüge mit einem Mietauto gemacht, die Strecke nach Tromsø dauert ca. 1 Stunde. Die Zufahrtstrasse (ca. 500m) zur Hütte war stark vereist, ungeübte Autofahrer sollten diese Strecke im Winter besser zu Fuss zurücklegen.

The koselig hytta was the perfect cozy place after a long day of ski touring. The sauna was a fantastic way to relax and warm up, making the experience even more special. The living room was snug and inviting, perfect for unwinding in the evening. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful and comfortable mountain getaway!

Wir haben zu zweit eine super Skitouren-Woche in dieser gemütlichen und praktischen Unterkunft verbracht. Sie bietet genug Platz und Freiraum auch für einen Schlechtwettertag, ist top ausgestattet und sehr angenehm. Am nördlichen Ende der Lyngen-Alpen gelegen, ist die Umgebung ruhig, aber es gibt einen Supermarkt und tolles Tourengelände (wenige Minuten per Auto). Das Haus liegt etwas näher an der Strasse und an anderen Häusern als wir gedacht hätten, aber es gibt sehr wenig Verkehr (Sackgasse) und die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig, sodass dies überhaupt kein Problem war. Die Ausstattung der Küche war wirklich gut, es gibt schnelles Internet und die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir sind sehr dankbar, hier eine schöne Woche verbracht zu haben, können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und würden uns freuen, wieder einmal herzukommen.

Hytte som passet oss veldig godt som familie. Veldig god plassering nært bakken og også langrennsløypene. Enkel og fleksibel innsjekk/utsjekk. Hytta er godt utstyrt og vi hadde alt vi trengte. Veldig fornøyd med oppholdet!

Alles hat super gepasst, angefangen von der Schlüsselübergabe mittels der Box neben der Haustür, das vorgeheizte Haus, die PERFEKT ausgestattete Küche (inkl. Gewürzen und allem was man braucht!) - wir waren 6 Personen, sogar 1 Nacht zu 7. und man hat super platz. Sehr gemütliche Couch, Skischuh Trockner, Abstellraum, Sauna, gemütliche Terasse wo man sehr lange die Sonne genießen kann. Die Lage war obendrein echt perfekt als Ausgangspunkt für einige Skitouren und auch super viele Skitouren waren nur ein paar Minuten entfernt. Wir würden die Hütte immer wieder buchen!

We had an amazing time at the cabin. It was even better than the pictures. Very cosy and tastefully decorated, well equipped kitchen, wonderful oven and sauna… and the view was just beautiful. It’s a great place to rewind and just be. You will need a car. There’s nothing but nature around you. But it’s a gem. Don’t miss it!
