Great way to get back in touch with nature. The walking trails on the property were great and we even got to see a family of deer (twice)!

We loved The Mighty Pine cabin! It was everything, and more! My boyfriend, our dog, and I, all the enjoyed walking around and taking in all of the serenity and beauty of our surroundings. Thank you so much for hosting our stay!

Our stay with Jenny was about quiet & no distraction, we most certainly got that. This is a little peace of heaven for nature lovers, easy to find and we did not feel lacking in anyway. Recommend the local Cafe, lots of character and the food is down home perfection. We plan to return, maybe this fall even, thank you Jenny, your place holds a special nook in our hearts.

Twin Pines is a gorgeous home with beautiful views. We stayed for a girls getaway weekend and everyone loved it! Shelia is an amazing host who goes above and beyond. From the welcoming check in process to the thoughtful coffee bar setup, variety of drinks, (even frozen pizzas), fresh flowers and scones from a local bakery- Shelia thought of everything and then some. The house was also adorably decorated for Easter throughout. We would highly recommend and talked about returning before we even left!

Our family absolutely loved this place. Enough space for everything, beautiful home. The best part was the setting, quiet and peaceful. We were able to enjoy coffee outside in the morning and watch the deer in the fields. We would absolutely love to stay here again. Great recommendations and Corey left some local items for us to try. Perfect stay!

Our stay at Therese's was spectacular - everything we expected + more! The moment we walked in, it was fresh, clean & spacious. We always appreciate a clean home that while still comfortable and inviting - it is not crowded or cluttered. All the rooms were super clean and tidy and the kitchen was well-equipped. The surrounding areas are intensely beautiful if you're looking for pure nature and peaceful surroundings. We would definitely stay here again and heartily recommend this property to anyone looking for a respite from large communities, noise and congestion. Peace & beauty are here.

This place was amazing! A beautiful view of the river with a wonderful outdoor fire pit, 3 season room, and gorgeous setting in the family room. We hope we can rent this place next year!

Molly and Brian’s cabin was super cute and secluded, perfect for a little getaway from the city! Tons of lowkey hiking, architectural hotspots (some great Frank Lloyd-Wright history — including his original gravestone!) and weird tourist traps within driving distance. This area is great for casual birdwatching and the owners even provide binoculars to help! We had a great time and will definitely be back soon!

Great place! Had a large group but there was plenty of room for everybody indoors and out. Used the kayaks and the lake was quiet and peaceful. Tavern in Avoca was welcoming and very good Would love to stay again
