What a wonderful place - exactly the right fit for a quiet autumn weekend visit. My top floor area was perfect for me and just as described - the rest of the house and the beautiful ground floor rooms were just a super lovely surprise. Historic and elegant but also cosy and welcoming. The location was perfect for walking to the Con, the Arb and everything else. I’ll definitely be hoping to stay again.

This place was perfect for what we wanted. Peaceful, quiet and a pond with lots of bass to catch. We were met upon arrival by the owner who answered all of our questions and assured us they were a phone call away if we had any problems. We totally enjoyed the very peaceful atmosphere, it was a perfect weekend getaway for my husband and myself.

Beautiful house! I loved the decor and style of this house! I wish I had stayed longer as the yard and the 3rd floor were amazing hang-out spaces. I loved Ashland too. It was a great place to stay over on my road trip, but it would have been nice to enjoy the space for a longer period of time. Thanks, Heather!

Kathy was a wonderful host and made my daughter and I feel right at home. I could tell she enjoys being a host. Her homemade scones were delicious!

Thomas lived close to my parent's home. He was such an interesting person to talk to. Loved hearing about all of his worldly travels and he even provided referrals for future travel plans for us. He was so attentive and asked what we preferred for breakfast. Left chocolates and homemade apple bread for us after we returned from visiting family. His home is cozy, tidy and comfortable. Amazing artifacts and artwork from his travels all over the world are displayed nicely throughout his home! We slept well and enjoyed our stay. We will return as often as we can.

Great place to stay as I was taking classes at Ashland University for a week (only a mile away from campus!). Heather was really responsive to any questions I had and the place was spotless! Cathy (the manager in the downstairs business 8-4 M-F) was a great host and suggested some things to do! Thanks to you both!

Yvonne place was absolutely stunning!! It was comfortable and spacious! It was definitely a great place to stay for a night. We even got to see the little black kitty! Honestly will definitely keep this place in mind! It was amazing! All the little snacks, water even the extra shower amenities was so sweet!

The absolute best Airbnb host I've ever had the pleasure of staying with. She has a gift for hospitality. Wonderful food, beautiful spotless bathrooms and kitchen. The best homemade bread I've had. What a gem of a home away from home!

A beautiful place on a rambling farm with terrific birdwatching and lovely trees. Marion was kind and helpful, a great communicator. The room has large windows looking out to the pond. It's a wonderful retreat.

Such a beautiful, peaceful setting! I felt at home when I walked in. Gordon was very welcoming, as was the rest of his family. This is a place I definitely plan to return to! The fields and dirt roads are so walkable if you are looking to stretch your legs, and the surrounding countryside is spectacular. You won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I were looking for a place that allowed dogs close to family in Ashland and we found the perfect spot in Sandy and Marks beautiful home. My only regret was not being able to stay for the homemade breakfast Sandy had made. We needed to leave early that morning for some business that needed attending to. Bernie and Judy were absolutely wonderful hosts! They made us feel right at home and were so hospitable! We feel so blessed to have met them and the other guests staying at the venue. We really had a great time - and everyone was so welcoming and kind. We definitely recommend them- and this location is just adorable! You can walk right across a quiet street to a beautiful town square with several great restaurants. I absolutely adore the area and love the historical small-town feel. Don’t miss this hidden gem!

This place was very clean and we appreciated the continental breakfast and flexibility of a possible late check in. Very convenient location too. Things to keep in mind if you are booking is to bring ear plugs for traffic and fridge noise. Also if sensitive, there is a strong air freshener/fragrance in the room.

Angekommen und sich gleich Wohlfühlen wie bei Freunden. Sehr nettes Kennenlernen. Ich war sofort in die beiden Hunde verliebt. Ich habe so super geschlafen, ich hätte weiter schlafen können. Ruhig und ein super Bett. Man konnte mich nur mit den frisch gebratenen Spiegeleier,Bacon und Cafe locken. Es war alles sehr lecker. Danke Sarah und Ron. Ihr seid tolle Menschen.
