Another great stay -- our second -- in the Red Roof Cabin. Very comfortable (including the bed), clean, updated decor and well-equipped. Conveniently close to Piedmont Park and Clearwater Lake. Highly recommend. (We'll be back!) Note that we didn't have a cell phone signal in the house or anywhere in the neighborhood, but the wifi is good.

This stay was perfect, the home was exactly as described, with plenty of room for our group. The river view was great! Everything was clean and accessible. Our host was fantastic. Was extremely responsive(even before booking). Made sure we had everything we needed and was very polite. This is probably one of the best host(s)/stay experiences I have had in years as far as value, quality, expectation, and host communications. We look forward to many more stays here! Book with confidence!

Quiet peaceful stay. We were in town for a funeral so just needed a place to sleep - appreciate the quiet hours, this was definitely more comfortable than a hotel. Happily surprised to have a restaurant in the office just a short walk away for breakfast!

Very beautiful lot - wide open fields and nice view. House had a lots of good amenities (cable, wifi, washer and dryer, although no dishwasher) and was good for a weekend trip with a mid sized group including a few small kids. The house itself is older and a bit wonky in places (e. g., no doors separating three bedrooms upstairs), but it was clean and comfortable. Hosts were friendly and responded quickly. Only a short drive to Johnson's shut ins (20 min) and Elephant Rocks 40 min). Would stay again!

Our second stay here and not our last. Comfortable beds, welcoming feeling, amazing hosts, and everything you need for a weekend or a week and more. We love Clearwater Lake, and this will be our go-to home away from home.

We wanted a place close to family, found it, only problem was you could hear the big trucks go by at 4 in the morning. And my dog did not like the floor, to slippery, so we went and bought a couple of runner rugs so he could move around. Other than that all was good. We never went fishing nor into the game room, to busy visiting family. Only slept and used washer and dryer. Next time we will bring fishing poles and something to cook out with on grill. Elisa was phenomenal the whole time! This place is a perfect get away for 2 or 10! She was on top of any needs throughout our stay and communication is the best! She sent us on multiple local state parks and they were just as described. Everything was clean and neat and the screened in porch was perfect for the hot Missouri summer days. I will be staying here again as soon as I can! Thank you so much for all of your hospitality!

This was the absolutely perfect spot to view the eclipse in totality for four awesome minutes. Beyond those few minutes, it was also a nice place to relax after a 12 hour journey to get there! There’s a beautiful, picturesque lake right at our back door, a nice covered deck to sit out on, and plenty of geese to watch frolicking about. There was a grill and a picnic table. Right across the street was a nice walking path. There was a bit of street traffic noise and spotty internet and cell service, but that could be from all the increase in traffic to the area for the big event. Very friendly hosts made it super easy to check in and out.

During my stay at Spring Valley Resort in Piedmont, Missouri, I had a fantastic time. The clean pool and the beautiful stream running through the campground added to the peaceful atmosphere. The quiet surroundings and the well-maintained interior of the cabins made for a relaxing experience. Alyssa was not only cool to chat with but also very helpful in recommending local eateries, which made our dining experiences even more enjoyable. She also promptly offered solutions to any issues we encountered, showing great customer service. Although there was no WiFi due to storm damage, the overall charm and tranquility of the resort made up for it. I would highly recommend Spring Valley Resort for a nature-filled retreat with clean amenities and a welcoming atmosphere. Don't forget to check out the rec room or nearby pond for some peaceful fishing!

Stayed at Jeff's place for the third time and it was an awesome time once again. My group and I love driving offroad vehicles down to the river, shooting at the range, enjoying the view around a fire, and countless other activities. It is always a great time down at the cabin!

Thinking of going floating and need a place to stay?! STAY HERE!!! This was our 2nd year and we will stay a 3rd time next year. It's perfect for our large (14) group! Easy check in. Beds are comfy. We like how toilets are separate from showers. Good places to eat right next door. Also, Franklin Floats picks us up and drops us off at the doorstep.

Jo was extremely welcoming and helpfull. Cabin was very nice and clean and honestly a steal for the price would book again

We had a great stay! Our favorite part was the outdoor pavilion and fireplace.

I would highly recommend this destination for the beautiful location and a gracious host. We were greeted within seconds of arriving, we felt right at home and knew I made a wise choice. Jo was our host with the most!! We chose this place to view the eclipse and it was perfect and then some. It was close to town, with many state park adventures nearby, we found a waterfall. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, the amenities were amazing, Grill, griddle, tiki torches, LED lighting w/solar panel, all with the needed supplies handy to use. It was a great stay, and I would do it again.

Chad is a great guy, he was very supportive when we had to cancel due to a 🌪️ that hit our area. We have been there before and would highly recommend. The lot is in town easy access to everything. In stead of cancelling he allowed us to apply the monies to another time.

Great little cabin with emenities. Kods have room to run and play. Jo is awesome. Also has Glamping (not listed here).
