This is centrally located and within walking distance to downtown Reykjavik. The room was as described as well as very clean and sanitized. The check-in and Check-out were both so smooth as I was provided with very detailed information prior to arriving. There were multiple bathrooms/showers, very clean and sanitized as well. I would highly recommend the location for your stay in Reykjavik.

Wonderful location that was only a 5 minute walk from city hall. The room was very well kept with everything you could need in the house and more. Great communication from Aldis!

Aldi’s has a wonderfully clean and organized rooms. Their check system is safe and easy. I would recommend for anyone who is looking for affordable options and who don’t mind being away from the busyness but want to enjoy a chill and quiet location. They have all the little perks and amenities too. There is parking available and it is close enough to everything. Whether it’s the port or downtown area or some other destination you are not too far away. Have fun on your travels, y’all!

I am a 9 year superhost who has also stayed in 4 Airbnbs in Reykjavik as well as others in the US and EU. Next time in Iceland I will try to stay here again. Super clean. Grwat location. Nicely appointed. Comfortable bed. Johann is easily reachable. I recommend this to anyone.

Wonderful place to stay! Very quiet building but still just a short walk to so many great things in Reykjavik. Would definitely stay here again.

Johann’s place is great! The location is optimal, it’s incredibly clean, and has everything that is listed. Be careful about parking - the available area is behind the Skuggi hotel, but the other guesthouse next door’s parking is not available for us (so be sure to park in the right area). The place is also quite secure! Be mindful to turn the key one full revolution to the right when unlocked the door, and one full revolution to the left when locking it. I had a little trouble with this but after a couple tries I understood (and good that the door is so secure)! Overall very much worth what I paid, I would stay again.
