Manolis is a great host and his mother is also so kind. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and help e.g. with local homemade breakfast and jam being provided and Manolis arranged for the village church to be opened for us so we had our own little private tour and saw the amazing Byzantine frescoes. It is a fantastic place to stay, such a beautifully restored house, almost like a local folk museum with its own little wine press and interesting things everywhere you look. The village is friendly with lovely little tavernas/cafes and you can cook for yourself ont he job or outside fire. Cosy fire inside for winter and lots of inside and outside space - amazing views of the mountains. Thank you!!

Villa Kapare is a magical place that puts you at immediate peace. The place and the host Anthi are beyond welcoming. First, the view from the home over looking Souda Bay never gets old. The place itself felt like a home and not an Airbnb. The place is immaculate and it has everything you need. The village of Kokkino is a beautiful place to take a stroll after a day of sightseeing. I already want to return to this beautiful oasis and the amazing hospitality of the Cretan people. Thank you Anthi for everything!!! I’m hoping to return as soon as possible.

It was one of the best places we stayed in Europe. The house has everything you need, from kitchen utensils to an outdoor table. Yannis is an amazing host and not only gave us heaps of recommendations but also received us with local food. We will never forget it! Thank you so much.

I recently stayed at this beautiful villa in Greece, and it exceeded all my expectations! The villa itself is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the bedrooms were cozy and inviting. I particularly loved spending time on the terrace, enjoying the serene views and the tranquil atmosphere. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Villa. Sie ist sehr sauber, traditionell eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Der nächste kleine Supermarkt ist 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Ansonsten befindet sich nichts in der Umgebung abgesehen von Privathäusern, daher ist ein Auto wirklich notwendig. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig, abgesehen von etwas Hundegebell oder den Glocken der Ziegen, es ist alles grün und idyllisch. Auch das Grundstück selbst mit dem privaten (nicht einsehbaren) Pool, den vielen Pflanzen und Sitzgelegenheiten, ist einfach wundervoll. Wir hatten Abends immer Besuch von mehreren Katzen, die sich über Futter und Wasser gefreut haben. George ist ein toller Gastgeber, der sich um das Wohl seiner Gäste bemüht und immer erreichbar ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We visited in July 24 and our party comprised two families. Elizabeth was very helpful throughout the booking which was a valuable comfort. The house is two separate flats (upstairs and downstairs) which worked well for us. The property is generally nice and in good condition, but a little dated in terms of the furnishings. The games room (pool table and table tennis) was great for the kids and the pool area was also good. The property cleaning and pool maintenance was good. The rooms are air conditioned and this is needed in summer. It is located a short car hop from Plakias and other nearby beaches but probably too far to regularly walk in the summer heat. We really liked the area which was good value and full of options. We had a great holiday in the property!

Alexandros und seine Familie sind sehr herzlich und wir haben uns wirklich willkommen gefühlt. Wir, zwei Väter mit jeweils einer Tochter (15 Jahre), hatten zwei Apartments gemietet und unsere Töchter durften ein Apartment für sich nutzen. Aufgrund der späten Anreise waren wir erst gegen Mitternacht vor Ort und seine Schwester Evi hat uns herzlich empfangen. Am nächsten Morgen wurden wir von Alexandros mit frischen Früchten verwöhnt. Dieses Vergnügen hatten wir noch öfter in unserem Urlaub. Ein defekter Wasserkocher wurde sofort durch ein neues Gerät ersetzt. Alexandros Mutter Maria hat uns viele Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurants und Autovermietung gegeben. Das sich Alexandros bereit erklärt hat uns um 04.30 Uhr zum Flughafen zu fahren, ist ein weiteres Merkmal einer fantastischen Gastfreundschaft dieser so herzlichen Familie. Danke für eine großartige Zeit in Vitorakis Apartments!

Als erstes möchten wir uns bei unseren Gastgebern, Conny und Sönke, bedanken. Ihr wart einfach ein schönes Team, das viel Einsatz und Hilfsbereitschaft in allen Bereichen gezeigt hat. Die Villa ist wunderschön und das Apartment voll ausgestattet. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist traumhaft. Man kann jeden Abend den Sonnenuntergang sehr gut betrachten und genießen. Wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen Aufenthalt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder bei Conny und Sönke buchen. Wir empfehlen jeden einmal diese schöne Natur zu erleben.

It's impossible to complain about anything here. Fantastic place, gorgeous surroundings, easy to walk to the beach and restaurants and Efi was incredibly helpful, thoughtful and kind during our stay. The easiest 5 stars I've ever given

Fantastic Airbnb and host! Looks just like the photos and is part of a lovely, authentic square in Maza village. We were so impressed with the hosts who went out of their way to supply us with a baby cot. The Airbnb also came with things like coffee, tea etc which was a lovely touch. Highly recommend!

Gabrielle est une hôte d’exception. Elle a su donner des conseils sur les environs afin que l’on puisse profiter au mieux de notre séjour. Toujours aux petits soins pour que notre famille ne manque de rien (jouets pour enfants, lit adapté, …). Je recommande le logement est confortable et dans un endroit paisible au cœur d’un petit village.

We loved Ioannis’s apartment it was great as it is very local also walkable into Chania ( takes about 25 minutes) there are local buses which regularly go up and down into the town ,2 euros , also we got the electric bus which is free The apartment is huge with the massive terrace all around the roof gets some fabulous sunsets it has all amenities needed and a well stocked kitchen There are a lot of stairs which might not be for everybody but we classed them as exercise after eating all the delicious pasties The area and the local people are very warm and friendly I would fully recommend this apartment to anyone Thank you Ioannis Kim and Ron

Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Sie war sauber und sah genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Die Kommunikation mit dem Anbieter war super einfach. Es gab beim Check-in ein Missverständnis (meinerseits) und es wurde direkt freundlich geklärt! ☺️ Danke für die schönen Tage in dieser Unterkunft!

Lovely airconditioned apartment at a great location. The apartment has everything you need for your vacation (including an ironing board, dishwasher, etc.). It is located on the third floor and can be reached with an elevator. The beach and some great restaurants are just around the corner (5 minute walk). You can walk to the city center in 15 minutes. In the street there are several super markets and bakeries. Hans is a great and responsive host. He proactively gave good advice for nearby restaurants, beaches, etc.
