Charming Hillside Country Home

This beautiful mid-century house was designed and built by my father. My husband’s parents, Amy and Bob, bought it from my parents’ estate and renovated it. It is filled with light, books and original art. Being inside feels like being outside. It is furnished much as it was when my in-laws moved out, with many of Amy’s paintings. It is not a new or fancy house, but it is authentic and quite a splendid example of mid-century architecture! I hope that you love it as much as I love to share it!

Accessibility: This is a 2 story home. All 3 bedrooms and both full baths are located upstairs. The half bath (no shower) and sleeper sofa are located on the main floor.

Stay in a one-of-a-kind historic gem just 4 miles from Purdue, located on the edge of town with easy access to shops and dining. Built in 1890 as a schoolhouse, this updated 1BR + loft blends original charm with industrial style and modern comfort. The Rayburn House is one of the county’s few remaining examples of a single log-pen house. The front cabin is c. 1834 and a gable front style and the rear cabin is c. 1890. You'll love our cozy cabin with all it's rustic features while enjoying the modern upgrades within. 2 queen beds and a day bed with trundle will comfortably sleep 6. The large eat in kitchen is fully equipped with all your needs, whether your stay short or extended. Located just 15 miles from Purdue University!
