Warranfels Homestead

Beautiful big historic homestead full of old world charm. Absolutely loved my time here relaxing on the verandah overlooking over the gorgeous garden. Very easy to get to and close to town. Great communication from the owners. Everything was perfect.

Historic Cottage on working Rare Breeds Farm

We had a fantastic time with our kids (ages 9 and 6) and 2-year-old Wolfhound mix! The cottage was easy to find and well-signed. Communication with Judy and Gina was great! The kids were delighted by the cattle and sheep that greeted us on our drive into the property. This is a real farm experience with animals right outside the door. The cabin is beautiful, cosy, and clean, with all the modern amenities you need. Just bring a few meals to cook for your stay. Gina was so friendly and informative as she showed us around! We kept our dog on a leash around the cabin as she was a little too interested in the ducks, but there are plenty of areas where she was able to run and play off leash where she wasn't disturbing the farm animals. The kids loved feeding the farm animals, including feeding the cows, ducks, and sheep by hand. They also loved kayaking (kayaks, paddles, and life jackets all available). Plenty to do and perfect for kids and dogs! We will definitely be back!

Ashe’s Cottage oozed personality and offered a cosy home away from home for us and our doggies. It is perfectly positioned in town with everything practically walking distance. Would love to visit again.

Scott was a great host and gave clear instructions on how to find and access the cottage. He responded in a timely manner and the cottage was as described. Clean, peaceful and very cute. Thanks for the stay Scott- Highly recommended.

Adi and her husband were incredible hosts, my husband and employees stayed while working in the area, the place was great and had everything they needed. Adi and her husband also went the extra mile and helped us find other accommodation when the work stretched out and their place was booked out. Could not recommend them more! Great people and great place!

we waited out the cyclone at annabelles place and it was just perfect. the view was so pretty and serene and the house very comfortable. we also treated ourselves to Annabelles home cooked meal which was totally delicious! and also the home made caramels...yum! thanks for a great stay

We love the cottage at the first moment when we arrived. It was a lovely house with an amazing history of the family. We enjoyed every single little thing decorated at every corner in the cottage. Jenny and her family’s efforts to preserve and maintain their ancestor house are so well deserved. We wish that we could stay there longer. We will come back again.

Beautiful accommodation in a peaceful scenic location. The children loved the animals and Robyn thoughtfully included them in her conversations with us. It was a very pleasant weekend with top notch accommodation and pleasant hosts. Whether you are a couple or a family I would definitely recommend Oakhurst Cottage Farmstay. Thanks Robyn for a great weekend.

The cottage was exactly as described in the listing. We could not believe how close it's location was to the centre of town, we could walk every where we wanted to go. We loved the fact that it was pet friendly. The bed was so comfortable. The cottage had everything we needed. A very enjoyable place to stay and would highly recommend it. Rose Cottage

Cute, homily cottage on a small property surrounded by kangaroos, cattle, ducks and many other birds. The kitchen was fully equipped and breakfast supplied was ample and delicious, clearly local sourced where possible. Enjoyed breakie on the verandah each morning, peaceful and tranquil. The location on the edge of the national park was perfect for a day of exploring mostly by foot. Added bonus was being so close to a chocolate shop and cafe (highly recommend the white choc mocha whilst watching the parrots frolic!)

Sylvan Cottage, simple elegance, well located

Oh Wow!!! That’s what we all said when we entered the garden of the cottage and it went up from there. The cottage was beautifully decorated, very welcoming and had everything you needed and then some. The cottage manual was extensive and the provisions provided appreciated. The cottage is in a great position and you can easily walk into town. It was also very quiet and peaceful. The contact with the hosts was great and instructions easy to interpret I would highly recommend a stay here.

Perfect place for a night on our way south for an Easter camping trip. We enjoyed a wonderful sunset looking out over the fields. The kitchen was very well equipped (and included a coffee machine!), and Michelle provided lots of breakfast which was very welcome.

Beautiful home! Such lovely interior and surprisingly warm! We loved all the activities and little homely additions. Very close to Tenterfield with the added benefit of farmyard privacy. Highly recommend!

We had a long weekend away from the "rat race". It was just what we were looking for - relaxing, comfortable, and a beautiful location. Jacquie and Fred were fabulous hosts and made us feel right at home, with plenty of helpful recommendations about the local area. The type of place you can do as much, or as little, as you would like.

We had a great time. The house was beautifully renovated. Best hot shower I’ve had in ages!! Location was great. Close to the National Transport Museum and a Pioneer Village. Grandkids loved both of those. Victoria Park was also a hit. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Host thoughtfully had brochures from a range of local eateries, sightseeing tips, etc. all in a great welcome binder with clear instructions for exit as well. Would an absolutely recommend. Will definitely be back.

Deb was very responsive and accomodating to our needs. The property is absolutely stunning. Quiet, peaceful and plenty of outdoor spaces and walks to take it all in.
