Absolutely loved our stay here, the cottage its self was gorgeous and the space inside was a really great lay out and very spacious! The cottage had everything we needed as-well as the little extras that were complimentary, and overall Sheila has been a great host and I would recommend this place, we had an amazing stay here! Firstly wow! The area in which this little cottage is set is beautiful, tranquil and private and has an enclosed garden for mine and my sister’s dogs. The welcome hamper was the best we’ve ever had with so many goodies in! Lots of local dog walks around the area and hotel grounds and we even found a waterfall after a heavy rainfall which was a lovely surprise. The cottage was clean and all beds made up, towels were provided too. Log fire and wood fired pizza oven and hot tub were so welcome on a foggy day when we were unable to travel. Wi-Fi was a bit hit and miss but not a real problem. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Only negative was only 2 windows open. We loved the fact we were surrounded by nature and birdsong and would have loved to have the windows open to make the most of this. Wouldn’t put us off going again as there are so many other areas we didn’t get to explore around there.

Beautiful place so relaxing just what we needed as a family to regroup and recharge our batteries. Very well equipped with all the essentials made use of the washing machine and airer and ironing board and iron. Great wfi. Hot tub was lovely and the veiws from it.

The photos don’t do this place justice. It really is beautiful. Quaint, spacious, clean and tidy. Plenty of facilities such as vac, mop, washing machine, dryer, cleaning products etc. Kitchen is a lovely space to all sit together. Bedrooms were very spacious and room for clothes etc. Lovely nights sleep in comfortable beds. Central heating worked a treat with log fire in the room (we didn’t need to use) including other heaters. It is lovely and warm and cosy. The views and surrounding areas are lovely. We used the hot tub which was a lovely addition and worked well been outside the conservatory part. We were a family group of mixed ages and we would absolutely stay here again. Host was great with contact prior to arrival with flexible check in/out. Overall a brilliant stay and we’ve also said we would return.

We loved our stay in Rambling Rose Cottage! Stayed a couple of nights and having walked miles along the coast from the house, it was a real treat to come back to relax in the hot tub in the sunshine. Lovely cottage, fab location and Dawn is a great host - would highly recommend booking!

Very comfortable w/e in an immaculate and well appointed property. So close to Staithes yet out of the hustle and bustle with views across open countryside. Would definitely rebook.

Loved our stay at the cottage its beautiful inside and tastefully done very clean and plenty of amenities its in a really good location close to everything but tucked away to be peaceful lovely views from the top floor and a nice big shower. Kate was very reponsive and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

An amazing house with so much character and charm. It was perfect for 6 kids (5-11years) and 5 adults. Plenty of space to sleep, eat and socialise. 5* review! Would definitely recommend to any large family or group! Was perfect! Thank you Photographer’s House! X

This was our second time staying at Greylands and again had a wonderful stay. Carol and all her family are lovely and welcoming and made our visit absolutely delightful. The cottage works perfectly and the farm is great to be on. Our whole family would fully recommend.

We had a great time here in Whitby. The house is huge and well equipped and we had plenty of space for our group of 12. We appreciated being able to explore by foot as the house is within walking distance of the station, the town and the beach. Would love to return and stay a bit longer!

We had a lovely time. It was like a home from home. Emma couldn't do enough for us. The bed was really comfortable and there were plenty of enticing cafes and restaurants in Bishop Auckland.

We absolutely loved Caroline's place and were sad to leave after a couple of nights. A beautifully converted barn in the most beautiful part of North Yorkshire, with stunning grounds. First time to Great Ayton but hopefully not our last and, if we do return, Caroline's place would be the top of our accommodation list if available.

Absolutely beautiful house!! EVERYTHING that you could possibly need for a few days away! We had 4 generations there to celebrate my 60th birthday and everything was perfect!! We’ve only been left a few hours and the grandchildren are asking when can we go again?? We would all love to return in the future!!

A delightful and charming one bedroom cottage, beautifully decorated andlocated in the heart of Helmsley, minutes from the main square. Louise and her partner were the perfect hosts being both friendly and attentive to our needs. The cottage is attached to the main house and the garden shared with the owners but this was not a problem for us. The kitchenette contains a kettle, toaster and small oven/grill (not really big enough for cooking a main meal - but Louise said she would happily put something in her oven if needed). We would definitely stay again.

3 nights away with 5 girlfriends (should have been 6, but a funeral changed that). Arrived to find a gorgeous house as described, which was very comfortable, nicely furnished and decorated, and felt like a home from home. All bedrooms were very comfortable, with dressing tables. Kitchen well equipped too. The property is walking distance to loads of restaurants, pubs and shops, and only a 5 min walk to a great Co-op. We had a few things planned, but in all honesty, apart from eating out, and a quick explore of Whitby, we mostly sat together in the comfortable living room with wine and non stop chatting. Whitby, we will be back. Caroline and pals xx

What a lovely apartment to stay in Durham! Chris was so nice to meet me there and show me everything with the apartment. The apartment is all new, very comfortable, with a beautiful peaceful setting on the river! He even bought me some food to get me through the mornings. It was so conveniently located to the town. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this apartment!

We had a brilliant stay with my family. Location is great for walking into town or to the beach. Brett was very friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

A completely lovely few days in Whitby. Charlotte made it all very straightforward with great instructions and guidance. We went for a long walk and a beautiful cycle ride (fantastic that there was an area for bike storage) and it was a pleasure to come home to the cottage to relax. We felt at home immediately.
