Looking to leave the hustle and bustle of the city? Our Glamper is a simple place to camp for a couples get-away, small family get-away, or the weekend hunting trip....a place to enjoy Hill country sunsets , gaze at the wide open starry skies, and breathe in good ole’ country air. We are located in Rio Frio, TX just up the road from the beautiful Frio River. Garner state park is only a few miles down the road. ***Property is not located on the river*** Wi-Fi is not reliable Sorry but No pets

The wildlife diversity is incredible with blackbuck antelope, axis deer, whitetail, wild turkey, ducks and more. Spend the day on the pristine Upper Nueces River, shopping locally in Camp Wood and Leakey, or use us as your base camp for adventure to close by Garner State Park, Lost Maples State Park, Nueces and Frio Rivers, or Devil's Sinkhole in Rocksprings. Get away from the hustle and relax by the fire, birdwatch, nap. The day is yours.

Amadeo at the Frio Private getaway with pool & spa

"Amadeo" is a secluded 9 acre get away on Saddle Mountain all to yourself, not shared. 2 cabins with 2 full baths & glorified outhouse/shower by salt water pool & spa. Outdoor lounging, covered dining areas, game area, star gazing by the fire pit. We are located 1 mile from river crossing, 5 mins from town, 10 mins from Garner. Beautiful sunsets and view of the hills, also hiking. Each cabin has queen bed, full loft, full futon couch, covered porches. We also love our guests’ fur babies!

Stay & Relax, swimming, shady spot, kid activities

Imagine a couple of days in the Texas Hill Country in a guest house that is totally yours, it is shaded by pecan trees, you have access to one mile of both sides of the river(the Dry Frio). Experience abundant wildlife, migrating birds/ hummingbirds and butterflies, stargaze and be able to hike up Lookout Hill and feel comfortable during your stay at Moriah's Riverwalk. You are within 18 miles of the Concan area. Your stay here at our bunkhouse will be safe, quiet, and peaceful.

Tiny House on the Frio River

Tiny House on the Frio is a cozy get-away situated in the Frio Canyon on five acres in the spectacular Texas Hill Country and less than 100 yards walking distance to private Frio River frontage. The perfect setting for adult couples only, that want to get away for a peaceful and quiet stay away from the crowds. Located five miles north of Leakey, fifteen minutes from Garner State Park, thirty-six miles away from Lost Maples State Park and 82 miles to Fredricksburg.

River House #1

Vacation home for your family to getaway from it all. Enjoy the amazing wildlife and bird watching any time of year along this part of the river. The Frio River is spring fed, cool and refreshing great for kayaking, tubing, swimming, fishing, or just hanging out with friends and family. Nearby restaurants, stores, antique shops and museums are fun to explore. Year round Frio River vacation homes are perfect to accommodate large or small groups.

My place is close to family-friendly activities, Garner state Park (3 miles), Lost Maples state Park, Three sisters bike roads, Frio River crossings, Leakey, Concan, Kerrville, Utopia, and Uvalde. My place is good for couples, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets), Pets are an additional $15 per pet, per night. We will have to bill after you book, b/c there is no option on Airbnb.

El Casa Vista on Twisted Sister 336

If you are looking for a peaceful weekend, this is your spot. You won't see many cars pass by on Ranch Road 336. You will see deer, cattle, birds and other wildlife. Star gazing at night is a treat! The property is 18 miles north of Leakey, so it is easy to get to the Frio River and find good places to eat or drive to one of the state parks nearby. Garner State Park and Los Maples are fun day trips.

Sonny's Place, 2 bedroom/2 bath extremely comfy

Sonny's Place is a cozy and welcoming home for groups up to six. It's a great home base for enjoying the Nueces River that is just minutes away by car. Great access to Three Sisters, a southern Hill Country scenic byway, and the Mission San Lorenzo De La Santa Cruz grounds are a minute away. Enjoy a stay in a very comfortable home while you rest or visit family. Cheers!
