Magical, relaxing, calming, surrounded by beauty and nature. We cannot recommend Miep and Derrywood highly enough. Our only regret is we didn’t stay for longer, but hope to be back asap. 5/5 isn’t enough, as this home and host (Miep) well exceeded all our expectations. Thank you for the most blissful and memorable stay!!!

Stayed for 3 nights at this remarkable property. If you are contemplating holidaying here I urge you do it, just book it now! husband, dog & I revelled in this haven of a house and it felt mansion sized, you can lose yourself among the generously proportioned rooms. The heart of the house being the huge traditional kitchen with welcoming raeburn stove which flows seamlessly into one of the most comfortable living rooms we’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. We loved the tasteful decoration throughout & the carefully curated quirky modern & antique mix of furnishings. Outside the hot tub is of a very high, quality standard & and those powerful wee jets were an absolute tonic after a day’s hillwalking! Did I mention the owner’s attention to detail? And at last, Someone who understands the importance of silky soft & crisp bedding!! Peaceful setting with the joy of hooting owls & the odd stag grazing in the field in the evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a very beautiful part of the world. Our accommodation was absolutely ideal for all. Meg was very responsive and was professional in her approach. We cannot recommend the property highly enough. Thanks Andy & the cycling guys.

It's very homely and comfortable, and had everything that we needed. There are some lovely walks from around Newtonmore. Check-in and check-out was really easy which was great as we had a very long drive to get there. Caroline's instructions were also really clear. Would definitely stay again if we're in the area.

Stayed for 3 nights over New year with the family, lovely home which made us all feel comfortable staying in, 'another home from home' Ample space for 9 adults , a child and dog Lovely views of the hills from the back garden , even more so when it was snowing. 1 minute walk to the shop, even popped into the local pub for Ne'erday drinks. We’ve been going to st fillans for many years and loved how close this was to the Loch and the play park as well as being handy for walks! Sean was very accommodating to a request we made and communicated well with us throughout. Will happily stay again in the near future!

This is the third time we have rented Ashleigh’s amazing home - first for our Son’s wedding and twice for our family ‘Fake Christmas’. It is the PERFECT place to prepare and serve a large family dinner, spacious, great equipment/utensils and comfortable. The house was decorated beautifully with a gorgeous tree, Christmas bed linen and other decorations. Ashleigh even left little treats for our Grandchildren! Her attention to detail is second to none! I truly believe that we couldn’t find a place anywhere more suited to our needs. Ashleigh is extremely attentive and responds to messages quickly and informatively. Nothing is too much trouble. I cannot recommend Ashleigh’s home highly enough. It ticks every box, amazing host, fantastic space and brilliant location. We can’t wait to come back!

Large 3 bedroomed home, separate dining room, 2 bathrooms. Dog friendly and within a short walk to Montrose Golf Club and the beach. Montrose high street and train station s short walk away.

Lovely spacious flat in a fantastic area. Slight issue trying to gain entry (not Susan’s fault) which was remedied quickly. Would stay again.

Great value for money and place was spotless. It’s in a good spot for exploring the beautiful area. Parking was easy and secure. Good communication and nice little breakfast welcome pack on arrival.

The house is an excellent place to stay. Location is quiet yet close to town. Clearly a loved and cared for property. But above all I was impressed with the quality of communication, flexibility around timing, and generosity of provided amenities. This was an excellent Airbnb experience. Grateful to Mark and Jill for hosting our family.

We were lucky enough to stay at this gem of a place, with gorgeous sea views. The flat is very spacious with a good amount of comfortable furniture. The mattresses are very comfy with plenty of storage space. Bathroom was light and airy with a great, powerful overhead shower in the bath. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with all the essentials you could need. Full size fridge/freezer and washing machine/dryer, if needed. Plenty of parking just outside. So easy to walk into the lovely town. The beach is a stones throw away. It met our needs perfectly. Lucy is a great host and we would highly recommend staying in the flat.

Enjoyed a great short stay at Harbour’s Edge. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed as a family of 4. We loved the central location and the view out the front was spectacular. Would highly recommend a visit.

Very comfortable house right in the heart of Newtonmore - was a perfect location for a family winter break. Lots of space with 2 lounges and generously sized bedrooms. Really well equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen in particular plus lots of games and books for the wet days (there were a few!). Off-street parking, nearby co-op shop and responsive hosts made for a stress free and enjoyable stay. We hope to be back!

What an amazing house and location. We have had a magical Christmas with everything we needed; walks, tennis, piano. The layout of the house and expansive living space suited us very well. The dog was as thrilled as her humans. The kitchen/dining room/glassware/crockery/cutlery are genuinely set up for a huge number which makes catering so much easier. As long as you don’t mind a short walk, Banchory is accessible by foot- you need a head torch in Winter! Definitely on the repeat list!

Das Haus hat seinen ganz eigenen Charakter und Charme und liegt wunderschoen mit Blick ueber den Golfplatz und das Meer dahinter. Die Kommunikation und der Austausch mit den Gastgebern Aaron und Florence hat super funktioniert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Excellent place with very good rooms and en suite bathrooms. The rooms on the second level were a bit small but very comfortable. The living area was huge and the kitchen was very well equipped. The hot tub was a great addition and helped us a lot when we returned from golf. The location is very good and an easy 10 min drive to the main part of the city. The drive to St Andrews was very easy and convenient. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

Excellent stay in lovely house. Plenty of space and well equipped. Immaculately clean. Great location, quiet, nice view of Loch Tay. Hosts very friendly and really quick in response to any questions. Would recommend and stay again myself.

Seasyde is a stunning home surrounded by beautiful grounds. Highly recommend for anyone looking for some peace and quiet in a countryside escape.
