Wir waren 2 Nächte dort um den Udawalawe Nationalpark zu besuchen. Der Gastgeber hat uns im Vorraus bereits die Preise für die Safari mitgeteilt und uns über den Taxiservice informiert. Das hat vieles für uns erleichtert. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit freundlichem Personal und schöner Umgebung.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this villa! The view was absolutely breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The staff were amazing—always attentive, friendly, and responsive to all our requests, including accommodating the needs of our toddler, which we greatly appreciated. A standout feature of our stay was the amazing cocktails! They were expertly crafted and added a special touch to our evenings as we enjoyed the stunning scenery. Additionally, the staff guided us to a beautiful local waterfall, where we had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying nature. It was a memorable highlight of our trip. The only area for improvement is the food. While it was decent, we’d love to see more fresh vegetables included in the menu to enhance the dining experience. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we’d definitely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat with top-notch hospitality, and opportunities to explore local beauty

Unsere Zeit in dieser Unterkunft war sehr schön! Die Lage ist traumhaft – umgeben von Feldern, einem See und Bananenstauden, ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen. Das größte Lob gebührt jedoch Rushan, der sich wirklich herzlich um uns gekümmert hat. Er hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt und seine Tante hat uns mit köstlichem Essen verwöhnt – das Essen war definitiv mein persönliches Highlight! Auch die von ihm organisierte Safari war super unkompliziert, und unser Guide im Park hat uns zu wirklich tollen Spots geführt. Der Pool war ebenfalls wunderschön, nur ein paar zusätzliche Liegen wären perfekt gewesen. Alles in allem eine absolute Empfehlung – wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Thisarn’s villa. A peaceful spot with a lovely aspect and delicious breakfast and dinners prepared by the family. Thisarn took us on a fabulous 6 hour guided rainforest walk - saw many interesting birds, reptiles and plants, together with langurs and a giant squirrel. Lunch by the waterfall was great, with fish foot therapy (if you choose!). The second large waterfall was beautiful for a swim and a reminder of the power of nature! Highly recommend - also a beautiful drive in to Matara from Galle in our rented tuk tuk.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and my daughters were excited to have their own little house! It was well set up with a restaurant across the road for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and also packed breakfast for the safari if needed. The hosts were very friendly and showed us lots of birds and animals in the lush garden. They also shared badminton nets and cricket bats for our daughters to play and put up big hammocks to relax in. They were able to arrange everything such as the safari tour, a trip to the local Buddhist temple and to see a colony of fruit bats, and a car to our next destination. I’d recommend going for the 6 hour safari as you can go a bit further into the park and not be around as many jeeps. We saw elephants, mongoose, monitor lizards, the giant Sri Lankan squirrel, crocodiles, wallowing buffalo and 20+ kinds of birds. Recommended as a place to stay near the safari park entrance.

Absolutely stunning Cabin close to the river. Perfect place for a little romantic get away. Also the service of the host was incredible, even brought us food in the heavy rain.

Staying at Mashita's place was a serene escape from the hustle and bustle. Surrounded by stunning scenery, it's the perfect spot to unwind and reconnect with nature. The tranquil ambiance truly allows you to unplug and rejuvenate your senses. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway! Hosts truly elevated our experience. They were incredibly friendly, responsive, and always went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their impeccable manners and genuine care for their guests made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It's rare to find such a gracious host, and we're grateful for their warmth and attentiveness throughout our stay.

This airbnb was a highlight of our trip. Came here to hike devil’s staircase to the waterfall. The view through the valley and all the way out to Udawalawe national park is stunning. And the staff there were so attentive always offering tea and offering to pack a breakfast when we were going on a hike early in the AM which was really helpful. The room was simple and clean and cool at night due to being in the mountains. Cool enough i wore a sweater outside. Food was delicious, sri lankan dinner was one of our best on the trip. They also provided insider knowledge on local hikes which was great when we had an extra morning and wanted to get one more hike in. Note that it is not easy to get to! Recommend either hiring an SUV or being dropped at the train station and going the rest of the way by tuk tuk which can handle the uneven road and steep decline much better. Overall highly recommend

We stayed in Sujees house for three days. The most beautiful thing is the jungles around. The house is situated in the heart of the forest with the little river just 10 meters away. You can bathe in the river when it is hot outside and have a 1-2 hours walk along it's bank through the jungles. Sujee is very hospital and friendly
