The hut is situated on a 1/4 acre lifestyle block. It runs on solar power, spring water and good vibes! It is a basic backcountry hut. Rakau's Rest

In CHB for work or visiting friends or family, this self contained cabin would suit you. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave, stove and all kitchen utensils for preparing meals. It's small but relaxing. No animals sorry. You have your own covered deck and private area. Host lives on the property also. Just off SH2 there is parking out the front on the roadside for trucks or bring your car in as you have your own off street parking. There is a local 4 Square and fish and chip shop.
