We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and well-equipped property. The house was spotless, cozy, and perfectly located—close to town yet peaceful with stunning views. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the outdoor area was great for relaxing. One highlight was the spa pool—a great addition to the property. However, the water felt a bit over-chlorinated, which meant we couldn’t stay in for more than 10 minutes at a time. That’s just a small detail in an otherwise perfect stay, and I’m sure it’s something that can be easily adjusted. Overall, we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ohakune. It’s a wonderful spot, and we would happily return in the future!

Great place to stay in Ohakune. Beautiful view of the mountain. Very comfortable and well set up with everything you need for a few days stay. Vess was super friendly, responsive and helpful

Another great stay! Perfect for two families. Love the spa and the large dining table. Cosy heating and a well equipped kitchen. Walking distance to the Powderkeg which is a great bonus.

The home was clean, comfortable and perfect for our family of 3’s needs. We enjoyed our stay and definitely would reconsider if we were to visit again. Property managers were responsive, helpful and gracious. One minor issue - we felt that ‘there were too many rules’ - this didn’t take away from our overall strongly positive impression, however. Walkable distance to the town and good options for meals - The Cypress Tree and Osteria Ohakune were excellent.

I loved Chris's place. It was stylish, and the views were incredible. There was nothing like having coffee sitting outside at the hexagon patio table, sipping coffee, and listening to the birds. I would seek out this place to stay again.

What a lovely place to stay! Everything is well thought out with awesome little touches of pleasant little surprises! If peaceful, with everything you need to be warm and comfortable- is what you are after - Annette and Weston have done a great job!

Good location for our trip down the north island. Lovely surroundings. Shame that they charge extra for having two bedrooms as two adults, especially when a cleaning charge is on top.

Fantastic location and an amazing host. Jess’s beautiful house is nestled in a small cluster of houses surrounding a little lake. We were fortunate that weather played a good part adding to the joy of visiting the Skywaka and walks around the town . Jess was very helpful and prompt as a host . It’s going to be a certain repeat in winters😊
