The Shack---an ideal off-grid forest experience

Want to disconnect? Experience privacy and tranquility in a cozy forested hideaway! The Shack is an off-grid, comfy, one-room cabin (16 ft. x 20 ft.). It's a .5km hike on a rocky wood road from our home . No electricity, internet, or cell coverage. Can be "buggy" during blackfly season. Enterprise wood stove for heat + camp stove + BBQ. Fresh water + wood provided. Board games; over 60 books . Outhouse. Campfire pit. Access to canoe, life jackets and paddles (free)+ Internet at owner’s home.

Rustic, and undergoing minor renovations, but a very cozy, clean place to stay. The Lake is clean and great for swimming! Full kitchen with most everything, an outdoor fire pit for nice nights, and a piano for rainy days. Heat pump, BBQ, fibre op, & Roku TV. Off grid cabins on Kegeshook lake, Quinan

Two off grid cabins on Kegeshook lake. Drive into a long tree covered winding driveway in a hard wood forest and arrive at the first cabin. This cabin is fully equipped with running hot water, solar power, propane, and generator backup. Living quarters include bathroom with shower, small kitchen, queen size bed and a double size pull out couch. Down a path towards the lake is the second cabin which is suitable for reading, relaxing, or hanging out on the deck overlooking the lake.

This is a perfect spot to be completely immersed in nature where you can enjoy forest bathing to relieve stress or paddling the Quinan and Tusket rivers or nearby lakes. Private Cozy lakefront cottage in Quinan.

We have recently built onto the cottage. We added an additional bedroom and a much larger living room and entrance. No cleaning fee!! The location says Tusket, it’s Quinan on Lake Kegeshook. The cottage is a farmhouse style with white walls, lots of windows and high ceilings allowing for great light. A remote location, quiet and perfect for relaxing. Only a 20 mins drive in from the Tusket exit and 35 minutes to Yarmouth.
