It is the most private shack in the bay and was lovingly restored in 2018 By Matthew & Claire using both sourced and up-cycled materials. My place is a short walk to the beach and the shores of Macquarie Harbour and is close to the The World Heritage area, the Gordon River cruise and Wilderness railway departures as well as the Beach and Great Southern Ocean with the most amazing sunsets and some beautiful rain forest walks. My place is great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers and people from everywhere who enjoy a quiet and peaceful environment and our apartments are surrounded by colourful gardens.

The Launch Pad

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Only a 5 minute walk down to the Strahan village and boat cruise terminals. 2 minute walk to the supermarket Wifi is connected. There is a tv on the deck, lounge room and all 3 bedrooms. Atleast 6 cars/trailers etc can be parked in the property *please note* The property looking out towards the water isn’t fenced off. If you have young kids then please make sure they don’t go passed the star pickets.

Unwind and relax in this Historic Hall that has been creatively turned into a unique and comfortable Home, complete with the outdoor bath of your dreams. The space itself provides two spacious bedrooms, with additional sleeping in the living area. A fully functioning kitchen and beautiful new bathroom. The open plan living opens out onto the deck where you will find our solid stone bath that is waiting for you!

Magnolia Cottage is a beautiful 1930's weatherboard cottage which has been thoughtfully renovated to please the keenest eye! Close to town, it is only a 7 minutes walk to all the main amenities. Wake up in the morning with aromas coffee from your Nespresso coffee machine and enjoy the luxury little touches and wonderful comforts while you experience the West Coast Wilderness. For our bike ride enthusiasts - we offer a lockable shed to store your bikes on the premises.

Braddon Retreat

Our newly renovated, comfortable and relaxing home ready for you to come and relax and enjoy what Queenstown has to offer. This home is perfect for families, couples and groups. With a fully equipped kitchen, walk in shower and a bath to relax in, washing machine and dryer, bbq for outside dining, cozy wood heater to warm you up on those cold days, and the most comfiest beds. The yard is fully fenced and can be locked up. Porta cot and bedding is also available.

Farm stay at Lowana, Strahan

A charming hobby farm just 10 minutes from Strahan's center. Our delightful menagerie includes sheep, alpacas, chickens, and a friendly goat. At night, the property comes alive with wallabies, rabbits, bandicoots, and possums. Your stay promises warmth, cleanliness, and comfort, as attested by our glowing reviews. If you thinking of coming to visit the West Coast my advice is to stay 2 or 3 nights in Queenstown which is the centre of the areas 5 towns. Queenstown is full of history and things to see. Waterfalls, lookouts, historic buildings and breathtaking scenery. Our property is only a few steps to the iconic Wilderness Railway and cafe.
