Marwa was an excellent host. Check in was very smooth and she was very responsive during the entire stay, reaching out to make sure everything was good. The apartment is also great, clean and looks as advertised. Great location in Zamalek. I will be staying here again.

I can't say enough good things about our stay at Houseboat65. I was there with five other folks - a couple & their two kids (8 & 11) and another single person. We had the three apartments on the second floor — perfect. I got lucky and slept in a gorgeous three-room space surrounded by windows, which filled the room with light. We spent a lot of time on the Nile-facing porches, chatting and having cocktails. It felt like our own little slice of calm and peace in busy Cairo. Jerome and the amazing Marie (we love you, Marie!) were beyond responsive: anything we needed (and that wasn't much: these spaces are well-stocked) or any time we needed assistance with luggage, etc., they were there in a flash. Marie served as our driver and top-notch tour guide for two days and wow - we felt so comfortable and well-taken care of. She knows the city so well and didn't hesitate to take us to some very far-flung locations. We can't WAIT to tell our friends about our stay and hope we get to come back!

It was a beautiful experience being with at the place . I was very understanding and the place was full of life and positivity. The staff was very cooperative and wonderful.

Jolie appartement en pleine place Tahrir très bien desservie quartier ambiance populaire je m’y suis beaucoup plu sachant que je ne connaissais rien du Caire proche du musée. Le meilleur de cette location es le gardien Mahmoud une personne d’une grande générosité, gentil, humain, avec beaucoup d’empathie et serviable à souhait.. il as fait de mon séjour un havre de paix,très à l écoute toujours au petits soins. Malgré la Barrière de la langue il as réussis à faire de la location un petit paradis. Honnêtement sans lui mon séjours n’aurait pas été pareil surtout si l’on ne connaît pas le pays ni la langue, c’est vraiment une personne incroyable. Merci infiniment à lui.

The facilities of this accommodation are very complete, the furnishings in the room are also very nice, and the location is also very good. We couldn't have wished for a better place to stay during our time in Caïro. The appartment is located in downtown where you are in de midst of Egyptian atmospheres and get to enjoy local shops and restaurants withing walking distance. The appartment itself is spacious en in Egyptian styles which adds to it's charm. It's located in an old building with a gorgeous old elavator and friendly neighbours. All contact with Patrick went through Airbnb. He is a friendly host who wants to help his guests to enjoy their stay as much as possible. In Caïro itself Moamen was our guide who picked us up from the airport and helped us organise tours and showed us around during our stay. Moamen is an incredibly warm and friendly, qualified guide who knows a lot about Egypt and Caïro and shares this with passion. He is available to help whenever you need but also gives you space and time to explore the city. We couldn't have wished for a better guide. Thanks again Moamen for your time and effort!

We had a wonderful time at the apartment. It’s located in a historical building, beautifully decorated in a modern style. The place was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Georgie is an exceptional host. He welcomed us even though we arrived early in the morning, and throughout our stay, he kept in touch to make sure we were okay and didn’t need anything. He was also there at checkout and kindly arranged a taxi to take us to the airport. A big thank you to Georgie—we truly appreciate his hospitality and wish him the very best!

"The apartment felt like a large villa, with spacious rooms and beautiful Arabesque wooden decorations. It was equipped with electrical appliances from the 1990s, which gave it a vintage charm. Located on the 11th floor, it was far from the hustle and bustle of the city center. The apartment also had a balcony with a view of the Gezira Tower, and from its windows, you could see several other high-rise buildings. The apartment was worth every penny I paid for it, and I would definitely rent it again." "Noufal has a team that is quick to respond to any inquiries, making them extremely available for questions. My colleague and I loved Mayssa’s flat, where we spent two weeks. Very urban Egyptian chic, a both genuine and comfortable place to stay in Cairo. There are two nice cafes on the street, Vasko and Falak, and a minimarket in the same building. Saad Zaghloul metro station is within walking distance. We (middle-aged Swedish women) loved taking the metro in Cairo, very cheap and we felt absolutely safe. Mayssa is a great host, and her home is well equipped with everything. I would definitely book this flat again if coming back to Cairo.

Nadim was a very kind and friendly host. The neighbourhood is very central and convenient to reach many places in Cairo. The apartment was clean and spacious with a nice balcony and two separate rooms. We had a couple of issues with some stuff in the apartment but Nadim provided for it. Most importantly, the best thing was the apartment's value for money, considering the size of the place and the neighbourhood.

This is a really nice flat and the host is helpful and accommodating, as well as being an interesting and well-travelled person. Omar's English and French are not just adequate but fully fluent, so communication is easy, and he reacts quickly to any questions. The apartment is really exceptionally quiet for Cairo; this is a rarity! Omar has some nice things and I felt at home here. It is fully equipped with everything you need, but not overstuffed with furniture, so it feels spacious. As others have said, lots of services nearby – bank, small supermarket, excellent restaurant, pharmacy...and ask for details of the ironing man round the corner who will do a lovely job on your shirts or dresses.

Aziz is a super host. Always in touch. He has a very clean and spacious apartment, which is rare in Cairo. The apartments have high speed internet. Everything that is stated in the ad, everything matches. Nearby shops, cafes, pharmacies. The price matches the quality. I can recommend these apartments, because other apartments in Cairo come with unpleasant surprises (((MANDATORY AND PLEASED TO COME AGAIN! THANKS FOR THE HOSTING!

I stayed 10 days at Ahmed’s house and I would definitely stay there again. The place is very like the photos, clean and very central. I was super well received by Ahmed even arriving quite late at night. I wish I could have time to be longer as this was a very welcoming place and felt like home.

Hoda proved to be an exceptional host, consistently ensuring open lines of communication and offering invaluable advice when required. Her attentiveness and availability were greatly appreciated. The apartment itself was impeccably maintained, offering both cleanliness and ample space. The kitchen was thoroughly equipped, catering to all culinary needs. The location was particularly advantageous, situated within a short walking distance of various amenities including stores, pharmacies, a local vegetable market, and numerous dining establishments. Notably, it was also in proximity to the renowned Tahrir Square and conveniently positioned for easily accessible taxi services. My family and I found our stay to be thoroughly enjoyable and would highly endorse this accommodation for any traveler visiting Cairo, whether for the first time or on a return visit.

Great place to stay: very central location, very clean, apartment is bigger than I thought based on the pictures, supermarkets around the corner, surprisingly quiet at night for downtown Cairo. Thank you very much!
