David & Jacqui are incredibly lovely hosts. You can tell at all times that your well-being is very important to them. From your arrival to your departure. Wonderful people who become friends. The accommodation is beautiful. Of course, the view deserves special mention. The sea and the mountains are at your feet. A place where you can completely relax. WiFI is up to date, works perfectly and there are some books and TV. The spa area is very spacious and the pool is beautiful. You can walk to Comares, where there are shops and restaurants. A beautiful place for which holidaymakers come from far and wide. You get to know the world anew while you relax under almond and olive trees. Your dogs are an added bonus to make you feel at home. The open-plan living area is very nice. They pay attention to detail to make you feel at home. The barbecue&wine is ready and there is plenty of space to relax. Mooi en ruim appartement met een zalig groot terras. Ontbijten onder het zonnetje met zicht op zee was heerlijk. Charis was ook een prima host. We arriveerden wat later, maar dat was geen probleem. Hij gaf ons ook nuttige tips voor winkel en restaurants in de buurt. Een eigen wagen is wel noodzakelijk daar. Want op wandelafstand is het aanbod beperkt. Maar binnen 10 minuutjes rijden vind je heel wat.

Just got back from a 10 night stay at this fabulous villa. Very well equipped for self- catering. Air conditioning and wifi access very good. Views of the mountains at the front of the property and views of the sea from the back. Large private garden area. Within a 5 min walk of two large pools. Also close to Cave Bar and restaurant. The beach and Nerja town are a 20 min walk downhill and a 30 min walk back up the hill. However there is a very reliable bus service every hour for 1 euro each way. There are also two large supermarkets within a 10 min walk. Mercadona was our favourite. Debby was very responsive to my messages. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely visit again x

Eine moderne, gepflegte, bestens ausgestattete Wohnung mit gut durchdachten Details hat uns sehr viel Komfort geboten. Die Aufteilung der Schlafzimmer mit separaten Bädern ist optimal für eine Familie oder Freunde. Die Geräte wie Waschmaschine, Trockner, Herd, Kühlschrank sind alle ganz neu und optimal, wenn man sich als Sportler oder mit Kindern gut organisieren muss. Der Sportraum in der Anlage war für uns perfekt, der gemütliche Wohnbereich sehr schön für Spiele- und Filmabende, die Terrasse super für Grillabende und mit Hund war der Standort für uns ideal, da direkt am eingezäunten Hunde-Trainingsplatz, fußläufig zum Strand & auf die Wanderrouten. Auch der Garagenstellplatz war für uns ein toller Vorteil. Silvana hat uns persönlich herzlich empfangen und bestens in die gesamte Anlage eingewiesen, danke Dir sehr! Wir freuen uns schon, im nächsten Sommer wiederzukommen.

Had a fantastic weekend stay! The place was great for our group of friends. It was spacious comfortable, as well as clean as per the photos. The Host was incrediblyy responsive and helpful, ansering all out questions quickly. I would definitely recommend this spot for groups.

Wij verbleven de gehele maand januari in het prachtige ruime huis, voorzien van alle gemakken en voldeed prima voor ons. Gekozen voor januari omdat het dan nog niet zo warm is in Spanje en gekozen voor de ligging in de bergen vanwege de rust en de natuur. Het huis ligt net buiten het dorpje Periana met een schitterend vrij uitzicht richting het stuwmeer en in de verte de zee. Hebben prachtige bergwandelingen gemaakt direct in de omgeving of met de auto kleine dorpjes bezocht of heerlijke strandwandelingen gemaakt aan de kust in Torre del Mar dat vanuit Periana in een halfuurtje te bereiken is. Achter het huis bevond zich een ruime tuin met strandstoelen en barbecue en was afsluitbaar zodat ons kleine hondje niet weg kon lopen en heerlijk kon spelen, op het bordes aan de voorkant kon je ook heerlijk zitten en genieten van het zonnetje. Het huis was brandschoon maar vanwege de wintermaanden wel fris, dus de houtkachel of elektrische moest wel aan. Andrés was een prima gastheer voor ons.

We had a wonderful month long stay at Lorie’s beautiful villa. It was well equipped for all our cooking and hosting needs. Spacious and comfortable for a group of 8. We enjoyed walking down the hill to the beach (20 min) and taking day trips to nearby Nerja, Granada, Malaga, Solabrena, and further to Seville and Ronda. Watching the sunrise over the hills and sea from the front patio with the stunning view will be etched in our memories of this happy time in La Herradura. The village itself is quiet and less touristy than others but with plenty of restaurants and activities for the family. Lorie was quick to respond to all our requests and a gracious host.
