The house was beautiful, the hot tub was amazing! It had all the amenities we needed! Sarah was wonderful, very quick to respond to messages and very helpful!

I have to say I had high hopes for our stay with everything in the photos, and even so my expectations were blown out of the water. It's no exaggeration to say this is my favorite airbnb I've stayed at, and the whole experience was so smooth thanks to Kaeley. The house itself is really cozy and modern, and the pool, speakeasy and the YMCA (as we called it) kept us entertained all weekend. I really couldn't recommend this stay any higher. Hoping to be back one day.

We had a great stay after a concert in Iroquois Park. The host responded to all of our questions right away. We loved that the location was so close to attractions and restaurants but was still a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay in Louisville.

Great spot. A lot of recreational space. Very responsive hosts. Close to a Walmart, which was great. Couldn’t think of a better spot if you are doing the Bourbon Trail.

This was by far the best AirBnB my family has ever stayed in! From check-in to check-out Nicole was such a perfect host. The amenities at the peppermint cottage were absolutely perfect and all of the children’s items were SO helpful! We had the best week and will absolutely try to stay here again when in the area!

Spent the weekend for a bachelor party, this property was amazing!! Super private, plenty of space and great amenities. Our host had such great recommendations for distilleries, places to eat, and golf. Just an amazing stay and an amazing home. If you are looking for a place to stay along the bourbon trail, do yourself a favor and book this one!!

The place was lovely and wonderfully centrally located. They were incredibly responsive and gave amazing check in instructions. The home while beautiful did have an interesting layout with the bedrooms. We would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed here for an Easter getaway with some friends and our dog. Everything was really clean, the kitchen was really well stocked, it was really quiet, and the space was perfect for all of us. The screened in porch was amazing…I wanted it to come home with me! Overall, great stay. Definitely recommend and would stay again!!

This house we great for large groups. We originally had 11 people coming but ended up with only 8. The house was older with a ton of character. It looks like it is a very up and coming neighborhood that has had a lot of work done to it. We came in for a work trip at the expo center and this house was only a 5 minute drive to it each day. Hot tub was awesome and back yard was nice. Will look at renting this house again for next years convention.

This was our second stay at Guest House on Story, and was definitely as good, if not better than the first. Kim is an excellent and responsive host who strives to make sure your stay is exactly what you need. We had a large group of adults visiting Louisville to celebrate a birthday weekend, and we had plenty of space to spread out and relax. The area has fun walkable bars, breweries, and cocktail lounges, along with restaurants! Highly recommend Tartan House and Biscuit Belly. Guests should be aware as others have mentioned that given the location in Butchertown, there is occasionally a notable smell outside. It very much depends on the direction of the wind and day/time of the week. Do know though that you cannot smell this inside the house! We caught a whiff outside here and there, but definitely not the entire time. Highly recommend Guest House on Story, and I'm sure we will stay again when in Louisville with a large group.

The property was exactly as listed and perfect for what we needed. We felt safe with the external cameras and other safety features. The bed was super comfortable and the space was very clean and well organized. The binder provided was clear and the included "In case of Emergency" plan was an appreciated add in, that we were glad wasn't needed but comforting to have. Added bonus for the garage space provided. Couldn't ask for better. Would 100% stay again.

The house was beautiful and exactly what was described. We messed up and locked ourselves out and they took care of that very quickly for us. Very nice area in downtown. When we go back again we will see if it is available and book there again. Thank you!

We stayed here while visiting family in Louisville. We have 2 toddlers. The space was great and relatively childproof, which I always appreciate when traveling. The neighborhood is very safe and great for walking or bike rides. Tiffany was a very responsive host. Overall, it was a good find!

This was my first time visiting Kentucky and this Airbnb was amazing. Chose to the city but far enough for orange and quiet.

We had a wonderful stay! The beds are comfortable and the area felt safe. All the updates made the house perfect! We love the new walk-in shower and all the new appliances in the kitchen! The 2 car garage in the back was nice since we had 3 vehicles. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Great location!

The place was really clean and exactly as described. Lot of thought was put in the interior and setting up of the place. The neighborhood is really quiet and peaceful. If we are back in Louisville, we will definitely would love to stay here again.
