This house is perfect for a traveling healthcare worker. I was there for 8 nights and I walked to work. It takes about 5-7 min. The place was clean and had a keurig which is something I always look for. 😆. The linens were clean. The WiFi is fast. Tons of gaming consoles if you have kids staying there. It isn’t close to restaurants but it’s a short 5 min drive to a grocery store.

Great stay! Very comfortable and very convenient location. Jonathan was extremely responsive and gives clear precise instructions. Thank you so much for hosting us. Felt like home away from home while here for work.

A very nice place to stay! We were touched by attentiveness to details, very clean spacious place, comfortable mattresses. It’s easy to understand that owners care about this place. I loved that they have everything for everyday life: snacks, tea/coffee, we even were treated with fresh farm eggs and biscuits for breakfast! Also there were nice bedding, everything needed in bathroom (women’s hygiene, towels, great toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner..). We loved that place and would definitely stay there again!

We stayed at Bruce’s waterfront Airbnb for a bachelor party and couldn’t have asked for a better spot! The place was clean, spacious, and perfectly set up for a group getaway. The views were incredible, and having direct access to the water added an extra level of fun to the weekend. Bruce was a fantastic host—super responsive and made sure everything went smoothly. Whether you're looking to relax or celebrate, this place hits all the marks. Highly recommend for bachelor parties or any group gathering!

We had a great experience at Anna’s Shell Beach place! Anna was a great host and went above and beyond for us. The house was absolutely charming and decorated with such unique character. Check in was easy, house was spotless, and Anna was extremely responsive. She had great local recommendations. Location was gorgeous right across from the water and everything in town was easy to get to. My husband and I had a very relaxing weekend and looking forward to our next visit in Lake Charles so we can stay at Anna’s place again!

Great place to stay Very peaceful and quiet. Kayaks were a plus. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Great home that made us feel like home, my family came to visit me from Oklahoma and my son enjoyed that it had a cool pool he had his own room to himself. More than anything it is pet friendly our little poodle also enjoyed the house. Home was very clean, my wife likes to have a clean house so she would clean after cooking and everything. Would really recommend this home to everyone.

The house was a neat older house that had been updated enough to be very livable but still have charm. We experienced a couple of old house quirks that were addressed in a very timely manner. Rusty was a good host and we enjoyed our stay. Also the place was pet friendly which was great for us.

Stayed at Rosemary’s place while out of town for work. After dealing with not feeling safe at hotels it was nice to be able to sleep comfortably here. Near everythingI could’ve needed!

Had a great stay at Rosemary’s apartment. It was private, clean and quiet, comfortable, had all the amenities advertised and the neighborhood felt safe. Hope to be back soon!

Stop searching. Save yourself the headache & book Shannon’s place right now!! Check the pantry before you order your groceries. We contributed to the ketchup stock! Shannon is a great host. Quick to respond and checked in on us during our stay. I brought my dad, husband, our 2 children (6 and 8); also my brother, sister, niece (all adults). Plenty of room. My dad has property in Cameron and my BIL has been coming to Hackberry with his buddies since the late 80s, but you don’t have to know much about the area to have a great time. We crabbed, fished, and enjoyed exploring at low tide. Our dog was in heaven chasing seagulls. Sheriff made rounds. Felt very safe. Good crawfish nearby in Sulphur. My dad bought oysters right off the boat in Cameron. Shucked them on the pier while watching the sunset. Boiled the crab we caught. Went to Holly Beach 25min away. Go up to the top deck and drink your coffee or wine. Loved watching the boats in the channel. No probs with WiFi. Ty!

The camp had everything we needed to step back from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It was the perfect place for our outdoor adventure trip! During the first part of each day, we would take our boat out on the lake to fish and relax. We caught several nice fish every day. In the late afternoons, we would drive down to the fishing and crabbing piers on Sabine Wildlife Refuge; this is where we fished and crabbed til sunset. We would head back to the camp and relax in the outdoor kitchen cooking our catch of the day. We had the best time soaking in nature along with everything the lake and surrounding area had to offer. Definitely, will be back for another fun-filled trip!!!

Camron is a great host and the place was just what I needed. Very responsive close to my job location and nearby stores and food. Close freeway access. Very quiet area.

When I got there the house wasn’t clean. I let Josh know and it was immediately addressed. I didn’t have the time to allow for the cleaning so I had to leave but Josh refunded me immediately. I can guarantee that this issue will be addressed and will not be a problem in the future. I would definitely recommend this place it was very nice. Unfortunately I had issues but I would book with him again.

A quick trip home for some doctors’ appointments. I can’t tell you how nice it is to rest your head in a clean, quiet, and safe place. The house was very clean, the host was very responsive to any questions, and it was extremely quiet. Thanks again for hosting us. We will be sure to stay here again!

The duplex/townhouse was brand new and definitely worth the price. The neighbors were quiet and I have zero complaints. Chandra was very communicative. I would definitely recommend!

I had a fantastic 2-night stay at D's Cottage in Lake Charles. The spacious one-bedroom cottage is perfect for a relaxing getaway or home away from home spot when needed. The full kitchen and laundry amenities made my stay incredibly convenient. The cottage is centrally located with easy access to the airport and other attractions in the area. The host Deborah was exceptional, providing detailed tips and instructions that made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend D's Cottage for anyone looking for a place while in Lake Charles. I will definitely be the first place I look for each time I visit.
