The apartment captures the spirit of Marfa perfectly. I had a fun time exploring all of the quirky details in and around the apartment. It's just far enough to feel private and isolated, but close enough to feel "in town." The bed was super comfortable and I loved the linens and pillows. I enjoyed the locally roasted coffee, too! It was a perfect last-minute stop after staying in Big Bend.

Easy peasy. No complaints. Appreciated the well-appointed kitchen with oils, salt, pepper, knives that actually cut things and all the expected implements.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Shy~ so so fun and whimsical! The host was very responsive and left clear instructions so we knew what was expected of us! We loved it! And if we need a place to stay in Marfa again, Casa Shy will be our first choice!

First time Visiting Marfa. This home was the most COZY and relaxing place EVER. 10/10 would recommend staying here. Super clean, comfortable beds, friendly host. This is my dream home. Great location. Very clean. Really quiet at night. Some of the upgrades that make this place stand out are: real plants, touch lights in the bedrooms that have two outlets and two USB ports, nice luggage racks that include shoe racks. Parking isn’t an issue. There is nothing we needed that this place didn’t have. It even had an ice cream scoop. Responsive host. Great stay. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay in Marfa! The house is darling, and even better in person than it is represented online. We appreciated how well stocked and thoughtfully organized this house was for renters, and we all agreed that the bedding and beds were so comfortable. We loved our time spent in the courtyard and on the rooftop deck. The moon was too bright for star searching while we were there, but what a beautiful place to see the sunrise! Make sure to read the host’s guidebook to Marfa- we used many of her recommendations and they did not disappoint! We’d love to return and stay here again.
