Gostamos muito da estadia na casa do rio. É um espaço muito agradável, com muito espaço verde, zonas de sombra e sol, um bosque para explorar junto ao rio e tudo muito bem cuidado e decorado. Os apartamentos estão bem equipados e os anfitriões foram muito disponíveis, nomeadamente em acomodar todas as necessidades de um bebé. Recomendamos.

We absolutely loved staying here. Ricardo was super friendly and helpful. Quinta Freiera is a stunning farm with loads of grape vines, lemon trees, orange trees, passion fruit, etc. It was so special to stay in a house that has been in his family for over 200 years. I highly recommend this quinta!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, un très bel accueil à notre arrivée de sa part. Antonio nous a donné de très bons conseils afin de visiter Porto et ses environs. je recommande !!

Des hôtes français super accueillant qui ont été réactif suite à une coupure de courant qui avais toucher le Portugal. La maison est très agréable dans un endroit calme. Toujours prévenant avec les personnes qui séjourne chez eux.on a eu droit de pouvoir rester plus longtemps dans la location le temps d’avoir les clés de notre autre location. Lovely, confortable and relaxing space. I stayed at this place for more than 2 months and I couldn't find a better place. The house is lovely, built with stone and wood, which creates a fantastic combination. The garden is lovely, quite inspiring. The house is full equipped, with everything that is needed for you to feel at home. The host, Manuela, still added a few more itens for you to feel totally welcome and mantained a wonderful relationship through out the stay. Highly recommended!

Tive o prazer de passar um fim de semana maravilhoso nesta casa e a experiência foi incrível. A casa é simplesmente linda, com uma decoração impecável e todas as comodidades que poderíamos desejar. O ambiente é espetacular, rodeado pela tranquilidade que procurávamos para relaxar e recarregar as energias. Cada detalhe foi pensado para garantir um fim de semana confortável e sem preocupações. A nossa estadia foi muito boa! A casa é acolhedora, confortável e perfeita para grupos grandes como o nosso (éramos 8 pessoas). Estava tudo muito limpo e bem organizado, com todas as comodidades necessárias para nos sentirmos em casa. A localização é excelente e o anfitrião foi muito atencioso e prestável durante toda a nossa estadia. Recomendamos esta casa a quem procura um lugar agradável e acolhedor para passar uns dias!

Um espaço acolhedor, muito confortável. O ideal para uma família grande ou para casais como foi o nosso caso, para aproveitarmos a natureza de Amarante.

Floriane and Christophe's property was the perfect setting for our extended family group. We were a party of 10 spanning three generations and the split of individual apartments ensured we didn't get in each other's way. The air-conditioned apartments were tastefully decorated, well-equipped and extremely comfortable. All fixtures and fittings were new and each apartment was spotlessly clean on arrival. The large pool is surrounded by a beautifully established garden with towering cactuses and a winding wisteria. The outside dining area accommodated everyone and came complete with two BBQs. A large supermarket is located within a short drive, as is a train station with direct links to central Porto. The city and the airport are also accessible by car within 40 minutes. The inland town of Amarante is also well worth a visit. In summary, Floriane and Christophe were excellent hosts with a delightful property. We hope to return soon.

Paulos place is even better in real life, the pictures do not do it justice. The view is insane. Extremely friendly and responsive.

To everyone who’s thinking of renting this house; if you’re having doubts, this is the sign to go for it. I’m speaking on behalf of my family and myself. We were a group of 8 who had the lovely opportunity to spend New Year’s Eve in this beautiful space. To start with, pictures don’t do justice to the gem you find when you pass through the entrance door. The house seems like it blends or comes out of the mountain itself. Maintaining original external features of what it seemed an old house that was carefully blended into the newer structure of the main house. When you enter you have the feeling of being at home and from any of the panoramic windows to the west side of the house you get the breathtaking views of the Douro river They’ve thought of all details and making it a perfectly functional house to not have to leave for as long as you plan to stay there. Having the breakfast service is also another extra service we were really happy to have thank you for the lovely experience.

belle maison. bien équipée aussi bien sur la literie que sur la vaisselle. nous y avons passés un agréable séjour. le petit plus est la présence du supermarché à 2 min à pied. je recommande vivement.

What an EXTRAORDINARY accommodation Casa Marmelo was for our group of 8 adults when visiting the Douro valley !!! Host Kate was super to work -- right from our initial contact for information through our date of departure. What an excellent WELCOME GUIDE she provided before our arrival - with valuable tips and suggestions for activities and dining throughout the area. Housekeeper Helene too could not have been more kind, charming, and helpful. What delicious breakfasts she made for us each morning. The entire property was kept so clean and tidy. What a memorable time we all had -- we all hope to be back!

Beautiful location stunning house. Great host. Do the vineyard tour it is great lots of information and gorgeous wine! Hard to leave the house for day trips as it is so tempting to stay in! Local people are friendly and helpful. Thank you for an amazing week we will be back for sure!!!!

Marisa’s property was absolutely perfect for our family (10 adults). The individual apartments were lovely, clean and comfortable and gave everyone their own personal space while also providing a common space for us to gather. We were greeted promptly on our arrival with a tour and clear instructions. (And a nice welcome basket of goodies!) The location was also great, giving us access to restaurants and attractions. Very walkable to most places. Highly recommend this property!

Absolutely beautiful venue!! There are no words. Communication beforehand was fab. Antonio was really helpful and booked us a sunrise yoga session for the day we left. He was responsive to questions & made sure everything was organised for us so that we could have the best time! Maria did the most amazing breakfast for us everyday. She even made sure I had a special gluten free basket of goodies! The venue was clean & had everything we needed. It wasn’t the greatest weather but Maria came in & put the log fire on for us, which was sooo cosy! Wish we could have stayed longer but had to get back for work. Thank you so much for making my friend’s celebratory weekend the BEST!!

La estancia ha sido estupenda. Una casa grande y antigua, llena de historia y con vistas inmejorables. Alexandre nos ofreció mucha información de sitios donde ir y comer, pero optamos por disfrutar de la casa, su jardín y piscina. Julia fue también muy amable y buena cocinera.

This is a family summer home where you instantly get a sense of peace. If you are looking for a quiet place to truly relax and recharge you have found it. Diane is helpful, responsive and kind. A gem!

We stayed for four days at the residence of fransisco with a group of five young males. In advance of our arrival the contact with both fransisco and his wife went so smooth, they almost responded immediately. When we arrived at the residence we got an more than warm welcome, we were greeted by fransisco and his wife who gave us a tour and told us everything we wanted to know about the house and garden. Our stay was perfect, the pool was amazing and the temperature of the water was good, we played a lot of soccer in the garden or on the football pitch which could get a little warm when barefoot. Had a small inconvenience but we could solve this with the host almost immediately. In conclusion we had an excellent stay and loved the residence and would definitely recommend fransisco as a host and the residence as well!

Idéalement situé pour découvrir le nord du Portugal. Une très belle maison bien équipée aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Abel est un hôte fort sympathique et plein de bons conseils.
