The Lundgren Tree Farm

Located on 40 beautiful wooded acres in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the Lundgren Tree Farm was founded by my grandfather Vic Lundgren in the early 1960s. Originally it was an 1880s homestead farm with a two bedroom log cabin and several out buildings. Over the years, my grandfather planted tens of thousands of trees on the property, painted hundreds of water colors and oil paintings documenting the natural flora and fauna, and converted a barn and other structures into additional bedrooms, an art studio, library and meditation room, and the Silver Dollar Pool Hall. As a lawyer, judge, artist and nature lover, Vic stocked the property with art, books, records and sculpture making the Lundgren Farm incredibly beautiful, inspiring and authentic. Just blocks from Lake Michigan, the Farm is a refuge for animals and artists alike, with trails, a fire pit, and rich solitude from city living. The log cabin farmhouse hosts two bedrooms, the kitchen, dining area, living room and full bath. It is filled with art, books, antiques, and a functional record player, organ and cast iron fireplace. The barn is not your ordinary structure, as it holds five seperate rooms - two bedrooms, an art studio, Vic's office and the meditation room. The open common area is rustic and contains a small workshop. The "Chicken Coupe" is a one bedroom outbuilding located behind the farmhouse, with a full bath (and one of the more modern sleeping quarters). All of the bedrooms have nice linens, wool blankets, mosquito netting (sometimes necessary) and antique furnishings. The screened gazebo next to the pond, is a wonderful place to read, eat or just sit back and listen to the frogs, birds and other wildlife that frequent the property.

Sipping coffee on the inviting front porch, getting comfy around the grand fireplace or creating a delicious dinner in the modern kitchen will have you feeling right at home! Haven offers plenty of space for families to get together and create lasting memories. Even a bunk room above the garage gives the kids their own hang out space. Close to all the fun!

Park your vehicle and boat in the yard with a turnaround & outlet for charging. Inside, enjoy rustic charm with a modern, stocked kitchen, Keurig, bathroom essentials, living room with TV and walk-up desk with dual monitors & laptop hookup. Whether you're fishing, paddling with provided kayaks, or relaxing outdoors this is your perfect lakefront getaway.

Curt's Cabin

Kickback with the family and enjoy some quiet time in the country! Our cabin has 1 bedroom w/ a queen size bed & a loft that holds 2 full size beds! Enjoy a fully furnished kitchen & living room w/ a dining table. There's 1 bathroom that includes a washer + dryer. The front patio is furnished w/ a table & chairs for evenings outside! We offer a boat charging station on the side of the building. Curt's Cabin is only a ten minute drive from Peshtigo and Marinette, 20 min from Oconto or Menominee.

Relax and enjoy the peaceful outdoors in the cozy cabin tucked in on 3.7 acres. It is a perfect mix of north woods charm and the convenience of home! Located close to Newton Lakes and High Falls flowage boat launches, public ATV/snowmobile trails, state & county parks, and a golf course. The large deck provides a perfect spot to enjoy nature. There are plenty of bar/grills & supper clubs nearby for dining. Check out the Marinette County tourism website for everything the area has to offer.

The River House is one of the units at Winding River Cottages on the Menominee. In addition to The River House, there are two other cottages also on the property. The house is located directly on the Menominee River, and has a full kitchen, dining room, living room, and natural fireplace in an open concept space that is filled with natural light from a multitude of windows. Welcome to your own little retreat on the Menominee River (which is famous for fishing of bass, walleye, northern, sturgeon, and more), kayaking and tubing. Spend your time enjoying your morning coffee on the deck or private dock (available Memorial Day-early Fall) all while watching the eagles soar overhead or maybe you'll even get to view the Northern Lights. There is a fire-pit to relax by and kayaks and a canoe for you to use and spend the day fishing or just enjoying the scenery.

Downtown Menominee House just steps from Marina

This house is just steps from a public beach, 230-slip marina, parks, beaches, restaurants, bars and shopping. You can park your car and never have to drive, enjoying the scenery, shopping, swimming and dining. The TV has local channels only, no cable. Menominee is 50 miles north of the city of Green Bay on the bay of Green Bay. Door County is a 2-hour car ride and an hour boat ride across from Menominee. This is a cute 3-bedroom, 1.5 bath house in downtown Menominee on a quiet street.
