My stay at Bracadale exceeded all expectations. Rachel and Colin were super friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure that stay went well. The Shepard’s Hut was adorably decorated and very well equipped right down to the binoculars. I was warmly greeted with delicious homemade muffins and Prosecco. Milk was even left in the fridge in case I hadn’t gotten to the market. The location is private and more remote though within easy driving distance of attractions and restaurants. There is a cafe within walking distance. The views were spectacular with the owners’ sheep on site. It was such fun watching the baby lambs playing! I will definitely be returning for a longer stay!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The location is stunning and the cabin is so beautifully decorated and had everything we could possibly need. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay - we hope to visit again soon!

Wir haben hier für eine Nacht auf unserer Wanderung auf dem Hebridean-Way halt gemacht. Die Unterkunft ist super am Wanderweg gelegen und nicht weit entfernt von der Fähre nach Leverburgh. Ausstattung, Sauberkeit- es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Toll war auch das Angebot an Tee, Kaffee und leckeren Keksen. Eine kleine Küchenzeile mit Backofen ermöglicht auch ein selbst gekochtes Abendessen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten! Vollste Empfehlung!!

The view is awe inspiring, the sheep and chickens were lovely neighbors, and the accommodation itself was cool when it was warm outside and warm when it was cold. The fridge was stocked with juice, milk, and eggs (which I think were from the chickens we met) and absolutely delicious. My only regret is that we could not stay longer. I would have happily spent a month exploring all of Skye with this little space as my comfort each night.

The place is amazing! It was super clean, warm and alexactly as described. Kelley and her family were very friendly and helpful. the nature around is beautiful and we could see the seals very near the pod. Totally recommended.

Stunning breathtaking view, very supportive and friendly host, very peaceful and cosy cabin, relatively close to town to grab dinner or shopping, nice area around to walk. We really enjoyed our time. We stayed in November, so at night heating was essential with efficient wood stove provided. However I found it quite a challenge to control temperature. Since you sleep at higher level where all hot air accumulates, it becomes very quickly very hot and no way to open a window to have fresh air and decrease temperature. Please note that I am not expert and not used to in using wood stove on daily basis so not a very big deal if you like warm nights especially it is better to feel warm than cold at night:) We would love to stay again some day.

Whatever you think a stay here will be prepare for it to exceed your expectations. Everything a great Airbnb should be. Comfortable, well equipped, responsive and helpful host and above all the most amazing location and views. Such a relaxing experience and worth every penny.

We had a great time in this pod, lovely and comfortable! It rained when we stayed but the pod was dry and warm and we both slept well. Great to have a proper toilet, sink, shower and kitchen too! We’d love to come back - thank you!
