Stunning location and beautiful place to stay. Tents were clean and very responsive host. Will visit again when I come back to Madeira.

Le logement est vraiment très propre, vraiment rien à redire ! c'était parfait ! il y a de l'espace avec une belle cuisine et une vue sur le couché de soleil magnifique !! Nous avons profité de la piscine chauffée à l'eau salée, un vrai régal ! Encore un grand merci pour ce beau séjour et pour votre accueil, vos attentions et votre générosité !!

Tivemos umas férias maravilhosas na Casa da Janela! A casa é linda, muito acolhedora e perfeita para momentos em família. Estava impecavelmente limpa, bem equipada e cheia de pequenos detalhes que nos fizeram sentir verdadeiramente em casa. A paisagem é simplesmente relaxante — com uma vista deslumbrante para a montanha e para o mar. O barulho suave das ondas e o sossego absoluto foram o cenário perfeito para recarregar energias. A localização é excelente: isolada o suficiente para garantir tranquilidade total, mas perto de tudo o que precisávamos. Um grande obrigado aos anfitriões, que foram sempre atenciosos e disponíveis.

Wir hatten eine sehr gute Zeit in Bettys Wohnung. Tolle Stube mit angrenzendem Balkon mit herrlichem Blick aufs Meer. Grosszügige und top ausgestattete Küche mit allem drum und dran. Auch die Zimmer waren perfekt ausgestattet und wir fühlten uns wie zu Hause. Die Wohnung befindet sich in Zentrumsnähe und somit in "städtischem" Umfeld. Wer absolute Ruhe sucht, muss in die Berge ;-). Die Kommunikation mit Betty war perfekt und immer sehr zeitnah. Danke für alles!!!

Raquel is a brilliant host. She really took care of us - so flexible, accommodating, and kind. We could tell she just wanted us to have a good time. Her apartment is so beautiful, spacious and clean. It’s a very safe and well located apartment, just a 15 min walk or 5 min drive into town. We loved having breakfast / a night cap on the balcony. Bolt drivers have no problem finding the place. My only note is the hot water takes a couple mins to warm up but once it gets going it’s great. Raquel, thanks so much again for having us, you and your place made this trip all the more special.

This house is the best air b n b we have ever stayed in, the attention to detail here is incredible, down to the stone cut soap holders, so much room, incredible location, you could not ask for more, this place will be in my memory forever… just do amazing, 5 stars simply is not enough

Wir hatten einen super Urlaub in Jardim Do Mar. Auf unsere 8 Monate alte Tochter wurde große Rücksicht genommen (Babybett, Hochstuhl, Schwimmutensilien für den Pool, ...) und auch für die Erwachsenen war einiges geboten: grosse Küche, ein toller Garten, ein grosser Pool. Alles war sauber und Lúcio hatte viele tolle Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Jardim Do Mar ist eine zauberhafte Stadt, von der aus man alles Sehenswerte auf der Insel gut erreichen kann. Wir kommen wieder! :)

One of our best AirBnBs ever. Exactly as advertise, Sofia's place is large, comfortable and beautifully situated. Jardim do Mar is our favourite spot on our favorite island. Would return to Sofia's place again and again - unfortunately next year renovation is planned but the current house is wonderful. Sofia is extremely helpful and responsive - I don't remember ever waiting more than 15 mins for a response. Our 5 weeks stay flew by. Highest level of recommendation.

Уютная и чистая квартира. Есть все необходимое. Машину ставили в подземный паркинг, что очень удобно. С балкона красивый вид на океан. Удобный матрас и подушки, приятное постельное белье. Интернет хорошо работал. Хозяйка квартиры Ири встретила как родных. Показала окрестности, порекомендовала рестораны и магазины. Всегда была на связи. Очень отзывчивый и добрый человек! Супермаркет очень близко. Есть где погулять. Мы остались очень довольны проживанием здесь. Рекомендую!

Nous avons été pleinement satisfaits du logement. Non seulement, il est propre et fonctionnel, mais il est bien situé. Bien qu’excentré du centre-ville (15 minutes à pied), il se trouve à proximité de la mer et des commerces. Il nous a permis de passer un agréable séjour sur l’île de Madère. Je le recommande vivement. Comme nous pensons bien retourner à Madère, nous redemanderons très probablement cet appartement s’il est disponible. Je soulignerai également la gentillesse d’Annicka à l’égard de ses clients, que du positif.

Sehr nettes kleines Haus mit allem drin, was man brauchen kann. Und ein schöner großer Garten, zum frühstücken und zum chillen. Leider konnten wir nur einmal draußen frühstücken, weil das Wetter nicht so gut war. Aber dafür kann Mariana nichts! Ihr Partner Miguel ist ebenfalls sehr freundlich und bei kleinen Problemen sofort hilfsbereit dabei. Danke, ihr beiden!

Ronaldo greeted us when we arrived, they were very responsive and even sent local recommendations like restaurants and activities. The apartment was ideal, it was spotless, the scenery was amazing and it was even bigger than the pictures. The amenities within the apartment were great, everything we needed was there. A laundry room with detergent and cleaning supplies was available in the apartment, kitchen tools were available for us to use and so much more. The location was great, only about 5-10 minutes from Funchal’s centre and in close proximity to hikes which we loved. Overall we felt very safe and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

The apartment is in a great location. Tonnes of mixed restaurants nearby (some tourists may prefer if you want home comforts and others authentic Portuguese food) all just a walk away. A short walk to many local supermarkets too which is helpful when you need to quickly grab things. Private pool which was never busy and always quiet! We rented a car and the parking in the apartment is so accessible. We used the apartment as a base for many hikes so drove various distances from here to explore Madeira. Excellent host, great apartment and would stay in this airbnb next visit.

What a view! Amazing. During the colder months, I highly recommend paying to have the pool heated (30 euro/day). Once the water warmed up, we used it every day and it was comfortable even when the weather was cold. There were plenty of extra towels. We also enjoyed the pool table and ping pong. House also has easy access to hiking paths (one trail passes immediately behind villa). The few drawbacks of the villa were limited seating in living room (an additional small sofa and some end tables would help for groups of 4+), kitchen has a full set of dishes but not quite enough for two meals (i.e., ran out of plates if some were still in dishwasher from the prior meal) and, for us, the clothes dryer was broken (hopefully will be fixed soon). None of these distracted from the chance to enjoy breakfast on such a patio. Orlanda was very responsive and even met us in town to show us the way.

We stayed for 5 days here. My kids loved the planes flying past the house, nice walk to santa cruz , sunny patio to enjoy lunch & drinks. No major issues for us , we will definitely look to come back here!

Site enchanteur et merveilleux!! La demeure est un oasis de calme et de beauté Les jardins sont fabuleux et la piscine privée a grandement été apprécié La vue sur la mer, les magnifiques couchers de soleil font de cet emplacement un endroit de choix. Heureusement que Bruno a été présent pour notre arrivée car la descente vers la maison est très abrupte et nous avions la frousse. Nous étions une grande famille et par la force des chose, avec une voiture de grande dimension. Si vous pouvez, comme mentionné opter pour une plus petite voiture c’est beaucoup mieux. La communication avec l’hôte est rapide et efficace. Notre famille avec 4 grands enfants ont trouvé l’endroit exceptionnel! L’espace intimité pour chacune des chambres, les confort et les accessoires étaient parfait. Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine dans cette résidence loin de l’agitation de la ville. Madère est une île à découvrir et cette villa est parfaite pour y résider pendant son séjour.

We stayed at Marco’s apartment with our 1-year-old baby and spent three wonderful weeks there. The accommodation is located in the sunniest part of the island. From the 4th floor, there’s a stunning view of the ocean from both terraces where you can watch the sunset too. The living room is bathed in sunlight all day and overlooks a peaceful park above the plaza. In my opinion, the apartment is even cozier than it appears in the photos and is fully equipped with everything you might need. We cooked and did laundry quite a lot during our stay. There are several restaurants, a hair salon, and a toy shop in the same building as the apartment. Across the street, there’s a greengrocer, and just a few steps away is a shopping mall. The playground is located in park just a block away from the apartment, and at the beginning of the street, there’s a traditional bakery filled with local delicacies. Communication with Marco was very smooth, he’s truly a wonderful host!

Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Raquel und ihr Vater haben uns anfangs alles sehr gut erklärt und noch viele Tipps zu Orten und Stellplätzen gegeben. Mit dem Auto waren wir super flexibel, es hat uns problemlos alle Straßen hoch und runter gefahren, auch die ganz steilen :D Es war alles vorhanden, was man zum kochen, essen und schlafen braucht. Auch mittlerer Wind und Regen haben den Schlaf nicht gestört. Und was gibt es schöneres, als morgens immer zu einer anderen Aussicht wachzuwerden :D Wir haben die Zeit im Auto und Dachzelt sehr genossen und können es guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen! ☺️

We really chose a fantastic apartment here! It's just like it looks in the photos and the description is accurate. If you want an apartment just outside the city centre, in a quieter neighbourhood (São Martinho), that has unbelievably stunning views of the hills, sparkling lights and the ocean, this is the one. The road is a dead end so there are no revving motorbikes or cars, only in the distance the typical barking dogs of Madeira. Going to sleep at night and waking up to this view was a stunner! We were there for one week and had everything we needed to make meals, watch TV and comfortably get ready (two of us). There are 3 balconies and 2 ways to get to the home. Be prepared to climb and descend hills if you don't have a car! But this is part of the experience. An added bonus was on-property cat, Hippie, who you get to feed and cuddle outside every day. She was such a sweetheart! Leonor is also one of the most proactive communicators on AirBnB. We had such a wonderful experience.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in der Wohnung von Valery. Besonders hervorzuheben ist natürlich der Ausblick auf das Meer, welcher durch die großen Fensterflächen und den Balkon mit Glaswänden absolut uneingeschränkt zur Geltung kommt. Die Einrichtung ist top modern, es fehlt an nichts. Die Kommunikation war ideal. Man hatte immer das Gefühl das Valery das Wohlergehen seiner Gäste sehr wichtig ist. Von der Wohnung aus kann man die gesamte Insel gut anfahren. Parkplätze sind vorhanden, dass Auto steht sicher und wir hatten nie Probleme einen Platz zu bekommen. Supermarkt ist ebenfalls 5min mit dem Auto entfernt. Spazieren gehen rund um die Wohnung war mangels Fußwegen etwas eingeschränkt. Ein Mietwagen ist zu empfehlen. Aber ich denke das ist bei nahezu allen Unterkünften auf Madeira so. Wir danken Valery für die schöne Zeit. Für uns eine tolle Airbnb-Erfahrung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Logement avec vue incroyable depuis les chambres, les salles de bain, et la terrasse. Très bien équipé, vous ne manquerez de rien. Soyez juste informé que les 2 chambres ne communiquent que par l'extérieur (il s'agit en fait de 2 maisons l'une sur l'autre avec entrées indépendantes). Nous avions eu un beau spectacle de la mer, mais aussi très bruyant (surtout pendant une nuit de tempête), pensez à vos bouchons d'oreilles au cas où ;-)

We had the best time staying at the Crystal house. Fatima was an incredibly friendly host who welcomed us personally and gave us privacy during our stay. She even brought us Madeiran wine and bananas from the garden. The space is big enough for 2 persons, especially with the royal terrace and balcony looking over the valley and the ocean! This was exceptional! The road in front of the house is not extremely busy, but the cars are loud sometimes. The kitchen is not very big, but it has the basics and is good enough for simple dinners. The bathroom is also quite small, but it’s clean and well equipped. The location on the island was ideal for us! You can drive to the highlights quite easily, while still enoying the local atmosphere from Madeira. Muito obrigado Fatima! It was amazing!

Zostałyśmy ciepło powitane i bardzo dobrze ugoszczone. Pani Rosa przekazała nam wiele przydatnych tipów a mama właściciela pomimo barier językowych była bardzo kochana i podzieliła się z nami wyhodowanymi marakujami. Skorzystałyśmy też z warzyw, które rosły w ogródku. Dom znajduje się w przepięknej i cichej okolicy, jest z niego piękny widok na ocean, panoramę Madery oraz jest to idealne miejsce na podziwianie zachodów słońca. Z pewnością wrócimy i polecamy każdemu :)

Excellent séjour. Il ne manquait absolument rien, tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin y était (vraiment impressionnant pour un airbnb)! De plus, tout était très très propre!! La vue est à couper le souffle et la maison était très grande! Le seul bémol était les fourmis qui apparemment sont nouvelles à Madère et sont attirées, non pas par la nourriture, mais bien par l’humidité. Aussitôt qu’on laissait quelque chose d’humide traîné (ex: un élastique à cheveux un peu mouillée ou humide), les fourmis s’y rendaient. Nous étions les premiers à signaler le tout donc je crois que ce problème sera pris en charge pour le futur. Au final, nous recommandons sans hésiter et nous avons adoré notre passage dans cette maison. Notre coup de coeur : la vue époustouflante 🤩
