We came here for a peaceful getaway and that’s exactly what we got. BEAUTIFUL location, home and backyard. The river just runs right behind the home and sounds and looks beautiful. Loved the home and quirkiness. Very clean as well. The river was so peaceful to listen to off the porch or in the hot tub. Would 100/10 recommend this home.

we are so happy we found this listing. it was perfect for what we were looking for. we wanted a peaceful stay with beautiful views (mountains, sunrise, endless sights of nature) and the house itself was equipped with more than enough essentials for us. it was comfortable with an at-home feeling while also felt very clean, taken care of, and luxurious at the same time. beautiful living room connected to the large balcony overlooking the mountains. clean and spacious bathrooms, nice kitchen with plenty of space and utensils, TV room with another door to the back and other room, bathroom, in-home sauna. all around gorgeous! we wish we would have used the hot tub but we ran out of time. i would say that's another major added bonus. highly recommend staying here! super easy to find with a very responsive host as well.

We would absolutely stay here again it was 10/10! The pictures speak for themselves, the views were unmatchable! We loved the fire pit on the front porch and hot tub! The beds are super comfortable and the downstairs closet had plenty of space. We did not use the upstairs although it had a super nice office space and good closet space too in both bedrooms. The terrain is a little rough getting there, but we did fine in my Subaru outback! It was super peaceful and the extra acreage was super nice for our dog. Adam and Katie would respond very quickly and were super helpful, the place even has a great guide book with local recommendations. Would for sure recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful stay close enough to the fun things in Asheville!

We loved Rumbling Ridge. Carolina Mornings did a great job. The cabin is in the middle of the woods so you feel very much one with nature. The cabin is beautiful, very comfortable (beds are great, shower felt spa like), very well equipped (one of the best we have stayed at), fantastic kitchen, and was very clean. The kids enjoyed the climbing wall. Check in was super simple. A few things: (1) First timers suggest you get there with daylight (Google maps does get you there); (2) When they say you need 4x4/AWD, not kidding around… minimum need a vehicle with decent clearance; (3) There is a hiking trail down to the green river (and a beautiful little beach) but it is steep (600 foot drop on a 0.5 mile hike); (4) Great options in the area – visited TIEC, Purple Onion and Green River BBQ in Saluda, and fun downtown Hendersonville. We definitely look forward to going back and making this a regular for us. Plus really appreciate the professionalism of Carolina Mornings.

Cheryl was an excellent host and her home is lovely. We were incredibly comfortable there. We especially liked having three distinct bedroom areas which gave everyone some privacy while staying together on vacation. It was a great home base for us as we visited family nearby and for a day trip to Asheville. We'd love to come back again!

Nice place, and area. Had a few issues with the place and maintenance tried to fix them but couldn’t. Communication was good.

The cleanliness of the cabin was impeccable; it felt like we were the first guests ever to stay there. Every corner was spotless, and the attention to detail was evident throughout. The large windows allowed natural light to flood the space, making it feel even more inviting. The location is perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We spent our days hiking nearby trails and our evenings soaking in the spa taking in the serene atmosphere. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in nature. It truly is a hidden gem, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable get away!

This is our second stay at Aramis's home. It was just as lovely the second time around. We were in town for a horse show at TIEC. The rental is comfortable and feels like a home away from home. The neighborhood is lovely and peaceful. Aramis is a wonderful host. He is very responsive and goes the extra mile providing snacks and breakfast foods. We will definitely stay again!

We had such a great stay! We brought our two dogs and there was so much room and space for all of us.

Highly recommend this place! We rented it for a bridal/bachelorette party weekend for five women, and it was marvelous! Early instructions about check in were informative. We lived in the hot tub. When there was an issue on Friday evening, we contacted the host who responded within the hour. Kitchen worked great for our personal French cooking lesson. We had a blast playing pool downstairs. And oh how the beds were comfortable, with great sheets to boot! Great views out the living room and kitchen to enjoy your morning coffee. What a great place!

I had an amazing stay at Casey’s place! The home was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—peaceful and scenic, with beautiful views of Lake Lure. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful decor and extra amenities. Casey was a fantastic host—quick to respond, friendly, and made check-in a breeze. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay in Lake Lure!

Beautiful home on an outstanding lake, perfect for completely decompressing and enjoying family. The house is nicely appointed, and we had everything that we needed. There is Wi-Fi at the house, but cell service is spotty, which we knew going in. It is a steep walk up/ down to the lake and so it may be hard for the elderly, and in contrast is also a great workout! Loved the water toys that my family took full advantage of. Easy location to get to Lake Lure and not too far from Asheville. Even saw a bald eagle fly over on the first evening.

Very nicely appointed, nothing left to chance. Alan has great taste and his cottage was decorated with memorabilia and also functional amenities. Bathrooms were modern and beds were comfortable. The ambience was beautiful with all of the authentic lanterns all on switches. He put a lot of work into the authenticity and details. Alan was very responsive host. I would definitely stay there again.

Our family loved Erin’s place . The home is comfortable, clean, and filled with interesting art and fresh flowers and plants . The backyard and porches were peaceful places to relax . We also loved having Anabelle the cat keeping us company . This was the perfect retreat after long days at Tryon horse show. Hoping to return!

loved our stay here, the bed was so comfortable an was perfect after a long day of activities in the mountains, for the location being close to a main road it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. the owners did a great job with the decor and little details of the cabin vibe. only thing that was missing from cabin was a floor length mirror maybe on bathroom door, when getting ready for a friends wedding and date night, was definitely hard sharing 1 small mirror with another person. other than that very pleasant stay!

Meagan is a fantastic host, and her house is beautiful. We enjoyed all the provided outdoor toys on the river; which pictures do not capture its beauty! Beyond being extremely clean, the house has everything you need to make meals, enjoy the hot tub, and make smores around the fire. Unloading and packing up is a breeze using the lift. The location is private, but the town is within a 20-minute drive. I highly recommend checking out this place!!!

The cottage was wonderful and everything was up to our expectations!

Micheal was an amazing host! He was very proactive and responsive to anything and everything we needed. Not to mention he was very generous and really prided himself on making our stay perfect! I couldn’t ask for anything more. The cabin is beautiful with so much land. It was just what we needed to get away as a family.
