Conveniently located 10 miles South of Livingston, 10 miles North of Chico Hot Springs & 40 hwy miles from Yellowstone Park entrance. Walk to the Yellowstone River, Pine Creek Lodge & Cafe (live music). Small stream runs through the property, farm fresh eggs offered to guests, owner on property in a separate residence.

Kiss Me Over the Garden Gate

Kiss me over the Garden gate is an heirloom cottage flower. And like many of the plants of this arid landscape, our garden and the apartment itself emphasizes efficiency and minimalism with a dash of whimsy and charm. The apartment is located in the original footprint of my house which was built in 1905. I live in the newer addition adjacent to the apartment. One wall separates the old from the new. Outside in the yard guests will find years of gardening experiments...not all fruitful.

Welcome to the historic 1908 Grabow Hotel building (John D. Rockefeller stayed here), in downtown Livingston, MT, the original 1880s rail gateway to Yellowstone, the first national park in the world. Close by are a museum, shops, restaurants, night life, galleries, and more. The Grabow is just under an hour from the Park's north entrance via the stunning Paradise Valley, open all year. Plus nearby Chico Hot Springs, and winter wonderland Bridger Bowl's downhill and cross country skiing !

The cabin sits next to our main home & small homestead. We often provide fresh eggs from the chickens & seasonal goods from the garden. The goats will entertain you for days & the stunning mountain view never never gets old.

Your Home Away From Home

This charming and very clean 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath home, with new memory foam mattresses and updated full bath (Feb 2024), will comfortably sleep 4, with a queen in one bedroom and 2 twins in the other. The comfortable living room will allow you to relax, stream TV with WIFI, and feel like you're at home. A fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare your own meals or just enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, or anything in between. There's also a washer and dryer available for your convenience.

Granny's Off-the-Grid. A sweet retreat

Enjoy blissful solitude tucked into the woods at the end of the road just 13 minutes away from the heart of town. Fresh linens, a new mattress, fine recliner, antiques, original art, books, two-burner propane stove and propane heat add convenience to the cozy cabin Cliff built with love for his mother "Granny." Hang your waders, read, write, paint, drink wine, walk the woods, take in breathtaking views 1000 feet above the Yellowstone River in an authentic cabin. Inspiration abounds.

Dexter Peak cabin, elegantly rustic near YNP/Chico

Dexter Peak Cabin is located near the base of the mountains on a 25 acre parcel shared with our home but still private. Close to Livingston, Chico Hot Springs, Yellowstone River, waterfalls, hiking and fishing, and 35 minutes to Yellowstone Park. Cabin is located about 200' from owner's home but the outdoor areas are oriented away from the home and toward the mountains. Little to no traffic as we are a couple with no kids. Dexter Peak Road is a great road for walking!
