Spacious house and modern kitchen. Has 4 rooms and 2 full bathroom (1 in the master room). Kitchen is fully equipped and clean. Host was very responsive and help us to book in the last minute.

Catherine stands out as a host who feels a special connection to the home she shares on Airbnb. She clearly loves the place and is invested in the best possible outcome for everyone. It's more than just a business to her. We did some cooking and baking in the kitchen and felt wowed by how well stocked the kitchen is. It had everything we needed and then some. The home maintains the charm of its history, which we loved. Downtown Grass Valley is so, so nice, and it's just a short walk from A Victorian Rose. I especially appreciated Catherine's recommendation of Caroline's Cafe. That's our kind of cafe, top to bottom. We visited at least four times! Grass Valley itself is such a lovely destination. Five stars all around!

We are a group of 3 families visiting the gold country on spring break. The house is just beautiful sitting on perched hill overlooking an open field. We woke up to an amazing view every day. I especially enjoyed cooking breakfast with the children in the bright open kitchen. There was plenty of space for just 8 of us. I also appreciated the bedroom with 2 bunks so all the kids get to stay in the same room. The location is private yet close enough to groceries and local eateries. The hosts are very easy to communicate with. Highly recommended.

We had a long 8 hour drive for the day and Alex’s place was easy to find and get to. It worked out well for us and I would book again. Place was clean, neat and secure. Only issue was some neighbor noise but what can you expect from it being in a populated neighborhood. Overall if you’re looking for a place to stop for the night this would be a good spot.

The house is huge (bigger than the photos represent) and great for big groups! 6 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms is fantastic for multiple families. BR2-4 have queen beds, BR5's sofa is a sofa bed. BR6 is a huge bedroom with couches, a big TV, and a king bed (from the photos I guessed BR6 would be some converted open loft area, but it has its own door and the windows all have pulldown shades for a proper bedroom). The first floor has BR5 and 1.5 baths and the kitchen/living areas. The second floor has five bedrooms, 2 full baths, and BR3 master has its own additional full bath. There's a long loop driveway that can fit many cars, but be careful if there's snow on the steep sections. We stayed here to go to Soda Springs and Boreal for skiing (a little over a half hour away). The downstairs and upstairs have separate Nest thermostats for HVAC control. The house is great value (compared to places in Tahoe proper). The host is very responsive. Highly recommended!

We took our tween and teenage kids here for a staycation of sorts in that we live just a few towns away. This is the perfect place for family as it is cozy inside and so fun with tons of activities outside. You enter the front yard through a gate so it feels so safe to let your kids wander and explore. Jennifer has thought of everything as there is something for everyone.

This back unit of the duplex gave my family & I the peace and quiet we needed! Off the bat, Alicia the host was welcoming, friendly and excellent in answering my concerns about the house being a duplex with occupants in the next unit. I was worried about noise level. In truth, we didn’t hear or see anyone from arrival to departure. Large screen tv made movie night fun, as well as game night with provided board games. Check out chores was only to load dishwasher, collect used towels and take out trash. The steep driveway, the neighbors and being close to the road weren’t an issue for us. The pool and jacuzzi put us on chill & relax mode upon arrival.
