Peter and I recently bought and renovated this 1790 farmhouse which sits on a sloping hill overlooking Minisink Battleground Park. You can walk off the deck, cross the lawn and explore 50 acres of beautiful trails. On a private road, the house has plenty of peace and quiet. There are two charming bedrooms, two full baths, a cozy living room, sun room (third bedroom), fully stocked kitchen, and laundry room. We've loved making these rooms a bit more modern while keeping the farmhouse vibe.

The Thoroughbred Cottage at Pleasant Ridge Farm

The Thoroughbred Cottage is the quintessential, early 1900s Pocono vacation cottage. Located on our commercial horse farm, the cottage has been entirely renovated but has kept its unique original details. The Little Hayloft is a newly renovated small one bedroom apartment in the heart of downtown historic Honesdale. Years ago, it was actually once a hayloft above a three horse stable before the invention of automobiles! Just a few blocks from Main Street Honesdale and walking distance to the historic heart of Honesdale, you will find plenty of great food and drink, shopping, art and antiques and much more charm that the little lovely town of Honesdale, PA has to offer!

There are 7 acres with river views and access . River is a couple hundred yards from cottage, lots of lawn, hammock, kayaking, lawn games, board games, hiking, fire pits, lots to do or just relax.
