This farmhouse was purchased by the host's parents in 1987. While being raised here with 8 siblings, this home felt very small. Updated country home located one mile north of Afton Alps ski hill and golf course. We are across the road from Afton State park with miles of walking trails and the St. Croix River. Milkhouse Cottage was rebuilt from the original Milkhouse built on our farm in 1906. Nestled in a peaceful valley across the road from the Rush River. Amenities include one queen bed, 1 queen sized comfortable queen sofa bed, air conditioning, private deck, private fire pit & 38 acres of private hiking trails and snowshowing trails. We also have a very nice campertrailer with 1 full sized bed, 1 queen sized bed. 2 bunks and bath that is avialable seasonaly.

Relax and take in the views or take a beautiful drive through the countryside to one of the many attractions the area has to offer such as Crystal Cave, Vino in the Valley, A to Z Pizza, one of the many wineries, trout fishing in Rush River and shopping in Stockholm and Maiden Rock.
