We had a wonderful stay and have nothing but good things to say. The drive to Hocking Hills State Park was an easy 20 minutes. There is a Walmart not too far away for forgotten items. The house itself was great. The kids loved sharing a bunk room with cousins and the hot tub. It had everythinf we needed. Jacob was very responsive and helpful. Hocking Hills is a beautiful area and if we make it back, we would totally stay here again.

Spacious, peaceful setting for a family gathering. Clean and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen. Close to Old Man’s Cave and the wonderful beauty of the State Park. We would enjoy returning to this property again.

Caleb‘s place was a beautiful retreat. The peaceful backyard watching the animals play on the hill was a bonus. The kitchen was stocked with spices and a few snacks. The king bed was exceptionally comfortable. He had plenty of extra blankets. Caleb was very responsive, friendly, and accommodating to our requests. It’s close to Hocking Hill State Park and restaurants, wineries, distilleries, and grocery.

Beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Perfect weekend getaway with everything you would need to unwind and relax. Highly recommend and close to the trails and wineries :)

We enjoyed the location and watching nature all around us in the mornings and evenings. It feels much more remote than it actually is - easy access to restaurants, grocery stores and retail.

We had a great time at the house. It was very modern and well equipped. We enjoyed the house, hot tub, and fire pit. We would definately be willing to come back again.

Such a great stay. The house was bigger than what I thought too. I enjoyed all the yard games, they left stuff for waffles, and a welcome basket. I didn't have kids with me but it was PERFECT for kids too. It had a pack and play! The kitchen was fully stocked. If you want a vacation where you can just pack clothes and go, this is it. Buy you some firewood and enjoy the pit many times like we did. Our dogs loved it too. It's a new remodel, so ignore the little things outside and you'll love the inside!! In time it'll only get more and more perfect! would stay again.

Highly recommended. Beautiful area. The home was well equipped with cozy blankets, kitchen amenities. Well insulated, not drafty even in cold windy conditions.

We had a great time staying here at the Comic House! Firstly, how could we resist this listing?? They clearly had fun with the theme. The place itself was also just so comfortable and inviting. We really felt like we were coming "home" each night, and loved just hanging out after a long day of touristing. Large space with two floors, many very comfortable beds, a giant cozy couch, two full baths, and a great kitchen, among other things. There was a fairly major issue early on with our stay that was not the host's fault, but the hosts had everything to do with the solution. Their eagerness to fix any and all problems, and remaining communicative throughout, made all the difference. We were very impressed and thankful! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place on that alone. It made us feel safe and that our time there mattered. Recommended! We'd absolutely stay here again if we're back in the city one day.

Great location, secured parking garage and the restaurants, coffee shop and convenience store were added bonuses.

My husband and I stayed at Idyll Reserve 5 (The North) for two nights in January and had a fabulous stay! 🌲❄️ The cabin was thoughtfully designed, tastefully decorated, and very spacious for the two of us (& could accommodate a small family easily). It had all the amenities you’d need for a cozy stay — spacious, fully-stocked kitchen (with coffee & espresso maker! ☕️), comfy couch, living room with large windows & beautiful views of the surrounding woods, walk-in double shower & soaking tub, and our personal favorites — the outdoor hot tub and sauna! Laura was extremely responsive and communication regarding check-in was the best I’ve had with an Airbnb host. We could have easily stayed several more days. Hocking Hills State Park is just a ~10 minute drive away (we did some gorgeous hiking to Ash Cave, Old Man’s Cave, and Cedar Falls all within a half day). We’re already planning our next trip back with our kids! 🥰

This was a very clean, cozy, and quiet place to stay when we visited Hocking Hills! The inside was newly done with cute decorations. The outdoor area is a nice place to hang out, and we caught and released many fish in the pond. A great choice and value for our getaway!

I would highly recommend this to anyone! This place was phenomenal and quiet and peaceful. Christine and Matt went beyond what anyone would expect. A lot of extra’s that you would not expect, like smores for the fire out back, snacks and drinks, a cheesecake, tooth paste, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Extremely clean, extra blankets, pillows, robes, many towels, this place is extra clean, quiet. There is a hot tub, and a fire pit for the relaxing evenings. We will return without hesitation. Thank you Matt and Christine you two are the best, and very appreciated more than you know. Thank you again.

Such a lovely place and such a warm welcome! I had work to do while I was staying with Jennifer. She provided beautiful eggs from their chickens and other food. It was an easy place to set up 'shop' and a relaxing place to be between visits with my daughter at the University. Very convenient to Denison U.

The place was just as advertised. The couche/bed were comfortable, there were phone chargers provided and other great details like a large TV, dimmable lights, very hot water. Overall a great place!

The Cabin was clean and very cozy. Lots of added touches we appreciated (including popcorn to pop). We enjoyed a variety of what Hocking Hills had to offer and the sunsets were beautiful. We hiked the cleared trail in the back of the property and sat on the swing and enjoyed the fire pit sitting area as well. No real issues with insects per other posts, but it's in the woods, so that was to be expected. The host even provided Off Bug repellent if needed. The hill was steep, but not an issue for our SUV and the owners warned you prior to your visit, which is appreciated. We wanted a nice private place and that's what Sodder Ridge offered. My husband and I are both educators and life is busy and this quiet time was desperately needed! So glad we went!

Great place to stay. Very peaceful. Nice and dark at night, can see a lot stars. Wrap around deck was nice to sit on in the morning and watch the bunnies running around.

Great experience here the cabin was gorgeous and clean! Very peaceful and private, you drive up in the mountain to get to the cabin. Easy to find. And it’s right in the central area, close drive to all of the hiking. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking. Would highly recommend!

This place was great for our few days in Hocking Hills. The place was incredibly clean, exactly as pictured, and had plenty of space for our party of 5. A couple quick notes it is far from grocery stores and restaurants in general, so be prepared for a little drive if you plan to go out. As a previous renter mentioned there are not any storage containers for leftovers so if you plan to cook you might want to bring your own. Phone service is also sparse in the area so you will need to use wifi. Also the downstairs can be quite chilly so if you plan to use that space in the spring or winter months be sure to pack some warm pajamas and socks. My only suggestion for this place would be a more comfortable seating arrangement on the lower level. The tv is mounted on the wall and can’t really be seen well from the bed. A love seat or even one additional chair would really make the space more functional. Over all we loved this place! Highly recommend!

My family of 5 used this location as home base for our Hocking Hills hiking explorations. Close to all major hiking trails, not far from town for necessities, and the property is private and peaceful. the stream running through was great to listen to from the front porch. I would stay here again, and will if we are back in the area in the future.

Our stay was excellent!!! We loved the location, we loved there was a lot of activity’s to do the house was beautiful! Inside and out! In all Id definitely come back and stay again!
