If you are not familiar with Quito, I think La Floresta is one of the best neighborhoods in Quito. I’d guess there are over 30 restaurants within a 2 block radius of this apartment with anything from hotdogs to sushi and anything in between. High priced to low prices. It’s also a short walk to a supermarket, pharmacies, banks. I was a bit surprised when I entered the apartment, as it was more elegant than the pictures showed. I found Alejandro to be easy to work with, although work may slow his response. Overall I expect I will be back in this apartment again.

Daily visits from donkey Margarita & black lab Carbone were added pleasures to our stay. Felipe was responsive to hot water issue. Took guests to church on property. Explained history of property, Quito and Ecuador in general. He was extremely kind and helpful. Picked up & transported us back to airport for reasonable fee. Modest but lovely home.

Location: Hotel Casa Elena is located an 8min bus ride ($0.35) from the central historic district of Quito. The busstop is in front of the hotel. If you prefer to sleep peacefully away from noise of the city then this is the place for you. There are low-priced family owned; restaurants, grocery stores and bakeries within a 5 to 15 min walk. This is Andes ⛰️ so there are HILLS! Accommodations: Casa Elena is a family run hotel. Dario is the host and he is very affable and responsive to any question or request. The room is a small studio with an en-suite restroom, a basic kitchen, and a large window which allows you to enjoy the gentle rushing of the nearby river, the FRESH AIR, and the peace and quiet which is unavailable at more centrally located locations. The gym is well appointed with options for; weightlifting, boxing , 🏀 and ⚽️ They also have a hottub on the roof with excellent views. Casa Elena is a hidden gem with ⭐️⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️, locally owned accommodations in a safe community.

El lugar es increíble, de verdad de ensueño!! Todo estuvo muy limpio y en orden. Y la amabilidad y hospitalidad de María es única. 100% recomendado. Sin duda alguna volveremos.

Mi estancia en este alojamiento fue excelente. El lugar estaba impecablemente limpio, muy bien equipado y tal como se muestra en las fotos. La cama era cómoda, el wifi funcionaba perfecto y la ubicación era ideal, cerca de todo lo necesario pero en una zona tranquila. Además, el anfitrión fue muy amable y atento, siempre dispuesto a ayudar con recomendaciones y responder rápidamente cualquier duda. Sin duda, volvería a hospedarme aquí y lo recomiendo 100%.

Me sentí como en casa, cumplió con todo. Y excelente el anfitrión. Volvería a hospedarme. ☺️☺️

We had a great stay at the hacienda el Rejo! The house is huge with beautiful vistas and surroundings. We all enjoyed interacting with the animals on the farm. Bedrooms were well-appointed, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was missing a few things we would’ve expected (ie: a coffee press or coffee maker; drinking water was only available at the restaurant so we filled pitchers/water bottles each day), but otherwise we were able to cook a few meals at the house. The restaurant on site is great and we enjoyed a dinner and breakfast there. Don’t miss the house-made cheese! Staff provided great advice and arranged a horseback ride for our group. It’s about a 45 minute drive to the entrance to Cotopaxi National park, very convenient. All in all I’d highly recommend a stay at this beautiful property with warm, welcoming staff. Sincerely hope to return!

Pasamos una noche en el apartamento de David a nuestro regreso de un viaje de trabajo. El apartamento está muy buen ubicado, en uno de los barrios más bonitos de Quito. Es la segunda vez que me alojo en el apartamento de David y me siento muy cómoda allí: es amplio, la cocina está bien equipada, tiene lavadora y secadora y es muy tranquilo. Lo recomiendo altamente!

My husband and I spent 2 weeks in Miryan's cabin. We loved it, so close to the center of the city yet one feels like one is in the country. Miryan was an amazing host. She brought us something almost every morning: eggs from her chickens, fruit or avocado from her trees, home made breads and freshly squeezed juices. My husband and I enjoyed walking through the neighborhood, meeting new people and buying produce and the many family owned stands. The house is rustic, this is not the Ritz but if you want to truly experience Ecuadorian culture, this is the place. Miryan has three dogs that came by often to say hello. If you are afraid of dogs or just don't care for them, this is not a place for you. For us, it was a perfect 2 weeks.

I stayed at this peaceful farm with my family and two young children, and it was everything we could've wished for. It's beautiful setting made you want to never leave the place due to the cozy comfortable inside and scenery outside. Carmen and Rosa Linda were very attentive to our needs, and were fast to respond to all requests from starting the fire to arranging for my daughters to milk the cows and feed the horses. The whole staff on the farm is very friendly and there to help. It was a truly a unique experience. There's plenty of hiking in the area and it's close to all the sights of Cotopaxi park. The incredible hosts arranged for our transportation, itinerary, and cooked us some of the most delicious food I had during my trip. I can't wait to go back!

My stay with Daniela was amazing. She was helpful in every way. She kindly welcomed me after my long flight and offered me some tea. Daniela was responsive to every question I had about the city, the country, and the neighborhood. When I encountered issues at the apartment, she tried to help me!!Thanks to her support, my stay was peaceful, and I truly felt at home. The apartment is just amazing: cozy with a nice view!

The place is in a very convenient location at the same time, very quiet and peaceful. The museum and park are nearby. SuperMaxi is within walking distance. Everything I need for living is in good condition, well well-equipped. Cathy is truly nice and friendly, and very easy to contact. I am truly happy to stay in this place. This is SixStar place!!

Patricia's place had a beautiful view. It was spacious and quiet. Security was very friendly and we felt safe. The place had very hot water, which isn't always the case. Surrounding was quiet from the apartment. There was shampoo, conditioner, bar of soap and towels provided. If you plan to use the kitchen, you will have to pick up supplies. There was detergent to wash clothing. We took taxis where ever we needed to go. Overall, Patricia's place was as pictured and very spacious. She had great communication and made check-in easy. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Es una excelente propiedad para pasar vacaciones y olvidarte del ruido de la ciudad. Es muy cómoda para un grupo de ocho personas con un amplia cocina, espacios verdes y canchas múltiples donde se puede aprovechar haciendo deporte.

Fue una estadía relajante y tranquila, la casa es antigua pero muy cuidada , Maria Agusta fue una anfitriona increíble siempre pendiente de nuestras necesidades, realmente la pasamos increíble, justo lo que necesitaba con mi familia, un lugar cerca para poder movilizarnos en diferentes horarios y a la vez nos sentirnos alejados de todo. Luisa is a very welcoming and thoughtful host, made us feel right at home :) The cabin we stayed in had everything we needed and was very cozy and charming. The grounds are beautiful and food was delicious. When we stayed there were hammocks to lay in while we listened to the sounds of the birds. A great escape from the hectic modern world :)

We really enjoyed staying at Paul's apartment. So much so that on the back half of our recent trip, we rebooked another stay. the apartment is centrally located with easy access to restaurants and short walk to major grocery store (Megamaxi) and a large mall (Quicentro). The building has many amenities as well, including an indoor pool. If you are driving here, the garage parking is included. We'd definitely stay here again on our next trip to Ecuador.

Great location. Very secure building. Helpful building staff. Good host. Well furnished and provisoned. Neighborhood has many good eating options.
