This is a wonderful Airbnb in a former palace. We had a suite of rooms that were spacious and beautifully decorated. Part of the palace houses a ceramics artist and nearby are many stores that sell Castiglione's famous ceramics. Our Airbnb was next to the great piazza at the basilica of San Giuliano behind which are the famous 142 steps with ceramic panels on the step risers. Tina was gracious and accomidating. She told us about the Easter festival occurring right behind the piazza and recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner. Our kitchen had a very nice coffee machine, a big refrigerator and lots of counter space. Tina even brought us some breakfast pastries, had water, milk and juice in the refrigerator. This was a very special place and I wish we had more time to spend another night there!

Appartamento molto carino e confortevole. Lo consiglio. Un pò distante (30 minuti a piedi) dal centro di Ragusa Ibla.

I enjoyed my one-month stay at Vittorio’s place. Vittorio is very friendly and personable. The place is close to the train/bus station so you can easily explore other cities in Sicily by public transit if you don’t have a car. It’s also close to Vittoria’s city centre. The place was clean and it has a large TV, a small kitchen and a balcony. It has fast internet and a desk so you can use it if you are working remotely. The studio is also not on the street side so it’s quiet. Recommended!

Soggiorno molto piacevole. L’host è stata accogliente e l’alloggio era pulito, esattamente come nelle foto. Ottima posizione in un quartiere tranquillo, vicino ai punti d’interesse. Consigliato!

Er stayed only one night in this B&B. It is very nicely located and ideal to visit the villa romana. The check-in was easy, although we do not speak Italien.

Ottima posizione,a pochi minuti dal centro di Ragusa superiore e ben posizionato per raggiungere il centro di Ragusa Ibla. La struttura di Viviana è ben organizzata per accogliere gli ospiti,pulita e fornita dell'essenziale per una vacanza serena e indipendente. Viviana è un host molto cordiale,gentile e disponibile al massimo. L'aver trovato tutto l'occorrente per la colazione è stata una bellissima sorpresa,che fa la differenza. Grazie ancora per averci ospitato.

We had a great stay. Francesco who welcomed us gave lots of useful recommendations and was always on hand to help. The villa was as described. We loved the outhouse next to the pool and hot tub and enjoyed playing pool and cooking there. Our only downside was that there is no where to walk to nearby although this was warned of with a car being advised as essential. The beaches are 30-40 minute car journey away. We visited scala dei turchi, licata, valley of temples and Cefalu with Cefalu being a longer day trip (1.5 hours each way) but worth it. Thank you, we will back to Sicily I am sure!

alles bestens, wir hatten eine gute Zeit. Nur die Küche ist etwas karg ausgestattet, viele sehr zerkratzte beschichtete Pfannen, aber sonst wirklich sehr empfehlenswert!

prachtig uitzicht. interessante inrichting; modern in een oud pand. Doolhofstraatjes en onverwachte ontdekkingen. Ibla Alba is erg pittoresk. Bed was wat aan de kleine kant. Verder alles compleet en netjes. Na een onweersbui even wat storingen aan internet, waterdruk en de verwarming.

Sehr schöne Zeit (außer dass man krank war - aber dafür kann die Unterkunft nichts :) ) ... eine wunderschöne Aussicht und sehr ruhig gelegen... man hört nur Schafe und Hunde und hat einen direkten Blick auf den Etna (besser als auf den Fotos!). Mitten in den Weinbergen gelegen... Unterkunft wie auf den Fotos dargestellt - es hat an nichts gefehlt und viele kleine Dinge waren bereits vor Ort (Salz, Olivenöl, Nudeln, ...). War echt gut! danke!

Séjour très agréable dans un Airbnb très bien équipé, d’une propreté impeccable. Le logement est accueillant car il dispose de nombreuses attentions (café, produits d’entretien, gel douche, plaids,….). Pas un Airbnb de rendement comme on en voit tant. Guiseppe est très disponible et arrangeant avec des adresses pour se restaurer locales et excellentes. La ville est magnifique ! Je recommande ☀️

Eine tolle Unterkunft, wenn man auf der Suche nach Ruhe ist. Tolle Lage, gute Ausstattung und ein erfrischender Pool machten den Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft mehr als erträglich. Der Gastgeber war sehr kommunikativ und hat uns viele nützliche Tips gegeben.

It's not often that one can stay at a historic villa surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The location is so peaceful and only a short drive into town. The interiors of the house are tastefully furnished, spacious and comfortable. Vicenzo is the most welcoming AirBnB host I have ever met. He met us in person, showed us around the grounds and house and gave recommendations. It was a joy chatting with him.

Prachtig appartement dat van alle gemakken is voorzien. Het uitzicht op de zee is adembenemend. Het strand is 5 minuutjes lopen en met de auto ben je zo bij de supermarkt en het dorpje met leuke restaurantjes. Het appartement was schoon en Salvo was super gastvrij en een goede host. Zeker een aanrader!

A truly wonderful place. A beautiful home nestled among an incredible landscape. It really did feel like a home from home. The 3 dogs were gorgeous and a definite highlight of the place. Guilio was a great and responsive host. Would definitely recommend

A perfect listing in a perfect location right at the center of one of the most beautiful Barocco villages of Southern Sicily. Comfortable beds, AC in both rooms, each with an brand new ensuite bathroom and great walk-in showers. Of course, there is no living room in the apartment, and the kitchen is a bit dark, although completely renovated and convenient, but honestly, there are plenty of bats and great typical restaurants at the foot of the building, so nobody wants to stay inside, when visiting Caltagirone and the surroundings. Stefano is a very helpful and gracious host. I strongly recommend!
