If you don’t mind the heat of the tropical sun and paddle around beaches this is the alternative experience for you! Explore the Taklong Island Marine Reserve area uniquely. We will hop around the marine reserve area. Visit beaches where other tourists don't usually go. We will visit sand bars and some small beaches. Explore the mangrove river. If lucky, you may see wild ducks, bats, and other endangered birds. All our activities will depend on the weather. Sometimes seas are choppy and winds are unpredictable. Some areas are not accessible if Mother Nature is against us. An outrigger/Banca paddle boat will be provided to you. You can paddle on your own or with a guide (me) whichever is convenient. Other things to note: Due to unpredicted weather or wind force, the coverage area of our tour may be limited for our safety. 9 AM is the ideal time to start and end up in the afternoon. The Intramuros tour is a historical walking tour around the famous fort built by the Spanish. From the shore, we will first swim above a shallow reef flat made of sandy beds, seagrass meadows and some coral bommies. Many starfish of different species live on the seabed, including blue starfish and horned sea stars. In the seagrass areas, it is not uncommon to spot green sea turtles, who come to feed and rest near the coast. At about forty meters from the shore, the reef flat ends in a reef drop off where we can see the million of sardines. The duration of our snorkeling activity is 1 hour.
