A lovely visit in very serene and tranquil surroundings. House is very quirky and well equipped. Beds and towels etc all very clean. There was some general maintenance things that could be a bit more up to scratch such as a new lick of paint in some areas, broken locks, hard to clean pans etc but this did not detract from our stay. 2 dishwashers was an excellent idea! Beautiful house though and really spacious. We had a fantastic time and Mhairi was great with any questions we had. Highly recommend for a quiet break away!

I booked this property for my husband and his 3 friends for his 40th birthday. Wallace was extremely communicative at all times, and was very welcoming to the group on arrival. One of the guests arrived early and while Wallace explained the place would not be ready till check in, the guest was able to fish on the loch till later in the day, and thoroughly enjoyed himself! The property was as described, perfectly clean and the location was exactly what I was looking for when I booked. It was easy to find, and the walking guides and maps of the local area were very helpful too. Would book again!

This is a good base for exploring the Trossachs. The house is comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen and spacious accommodation (we were there as three couples). Although it’s on the main road through town, it was very quiet at night. Aaron is a friendly and helpful host and we had a great time here.

An absolutely charming place! We stayed one night and were smitten from as soon as we checked in. The loveliest little touches in the interior, from the record player to the board games and books, and oh, what a beautiful garden and outdoor experience to behold! Stayed for 3 nights over New year with the family, lovely home which made us all feel comfortable staying in, 'another home from home' Ample space for 9 adults , a child and dog Lovely views of the hills from the back garden , even more so when it was snowing. 1 minute walk to the shop, even popped into the local pub for Ne'erday drinks. The space was perfect for us. The kids loved the big garden and access to the beach. The house is cosy and views are breathtaking. Beds are comfortable and generally the house felt like a home for our holiday. Had great fun with the table tennis.

Having visted Rannoch Lodge and Ghillies Cottage for many, many years, it is now home from home. Yes, it's a long drive in but boy is the view worth it! Instant peace, tranquility and relaxation in a breathtaking setting. Just a minute walk to the lawn and the loch with the most beautiful firepit for warmth at all times of the year if you are happy to potter about. Alternatively there's plenty of walking from the doorstep. Supermarkets will deliver to the door but if you do forget something then the local shop is located just 20 mins away in Kinloch Rannoch. The tea room there is also recommended as is the one at the railway station - but note this one is not open out of season. The cottage as usual is always spotlessly clean and Irek is on hand if there are any issues or to answer any questions. Great communication before arrival and a handy guide supplied too. Thanks once again to Richard and the team at Rannoch Lodge for another wonderful stay.

Had a great stay in this lovely cottage. Fab location and the hot tub was a great bonus! Kevin was a really helpful host and would stay here again.

Second visit for us and hopefully won’t be the last. Beautiful surroundings, clean, modern accommodation with thoughtful touches. Explored more of the walks around the cottage this time and the area is stunning. Highly recommended.

I had a really wonderful stay at Ptarmigan's Nest! Jerome and Tracey have been excellent hosts-welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The place was immaculately clean, and all the little touches made it feel very cozy. The bed was super comfy, and the kitchen had everything I needed (I especially love the air fryer and will definitely be getting one for myself!) The local area is gorgeous, with plenty of beautiful walks and scenery nearby. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic stay! Thanks for being great hosts :)

Elizabeth’s flat was great. Central location. Parking on doorstep. Everything you needed was on hand and very clean. Would stay again and definitely recommend.

A location with an interesting history; just a few minutes walk (beside the river) from Dunblane’s centre but tranquil, comfortable and secluded. Perfect to visit the surrounding area but also an easy train journey to Stirling and Edinburgh for the sights.

As a couple with a dog seeking a weekend break Dunollie at Balquhidder was perfect for us. Cosy and spotlessly clean, in a great location for walks and the excellent Mhor84 just down the road for a superb breakfast. A perfect break for us, thank you Alison and Hannah.

A beautifully converted stone coach house in a serene setting with all the amenities for a comfortable stay. We did a scenic hike near Rumbling Bridge and the Crook of Devon and were able to visit a few sites in the area that are part of our Scottish family roots. Jerome and Tracey were gracious hosts. Our only regret with a tight schedule was that we didn't have more time to enjoy the beautiful area and peaceful surroundings. Highly recommend with many thanks!

A wonderfully designed space with beautiful surroundings and Laura was wonderful to deal with. Would 10/10 recommend staying here if looking to stay close to Dunkeld for exploration.

We had a wonderful stay in the cabin, the surroundings were beautiful and it was so peaceful. We loved the panoramic view from the bed, the outdoor bath was amazing and we loved cooking on the fire pit. The whole place was spotless and there was so much attention to detail!

We had a beautiful peaceful stay at the bothy over the Easter weekend. The views are incredible and the bothy is spacious and has everything you need for an off grid weekend away. Leanne was super helpful and responsive during our stay. Highly recommend ✨✨✨

Beautiful place and surroundings. We travelled with two families including young kids, who loved the bunk beds, the games room, exploring the forest and watching the wild deer eating their breakfast. Tara made the whole thing easy too :)

My wife and two young daughters and I had a wonderful, peaceful and soul filling long weekend here. Beautiful surroundings, only half an hour from home but felt like a whole different world. Peaceful cozy cabin, perfect for the kids with all the swings, open space to explore and the fenced in garden. We had a wonderful time and came home after an incredible adventure, would highly recommend. Only thing needing a little love is the shower set up. Great for rinsing the kids, took me right back to staying at my Grans place which I loved, but my American wife had never seen anything like it before. Made it even funnier for me to be honest! We loved it, thanks for having us.

Agree with an earlier review, the accommodation is even better than the photos ! Lovely peaceful location, the balcony was a great space to use and watch the wildlife passing by. Great enclosed garden for the dogs & lovely walks from the house. We really enjoyed our stay here.
