We absolutely loved staying at Joe and Megan's. The place was perfect for the getaway that we were hoping for. We spent time on the deck, dock, and used the kayak. It was quiet, secluded and beautiful! The kitchen had everything we needed. We never got around to using the grill, but if we get a chance to stay again, we definitely will. Overall well done property! We would love to stay again.

We have stayed in a LOT of Airbnbs before and this one took the cake, by far. The house had EVERYTHING you could think of. It was fully stocked - and not just with average items - but higher end items. The linens felt like a fancy hotel. The bathrooms were stocked with amenities. The kitchen had every gadget you could possibly need -- the knives were sharp, there were plenty of nice pans & pots, etc etc. It felt like someone lived there full time and was just letting us borrow it for a few days. Not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere. The first couple of days of our stay were rainy - but we were perfectly content relaxing inside. The fooseball table and provided games were loved by all --- the views are spectacular. My daughter even saw an otter at the bottom of the yard in the water. This was just the perfect place for a girl's weekend to celebrate my Mom's 70th birthday! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Great house! If you have a big group, 2 bunkbeds on the lower level, King size bed on lower level, both share one bathroom. Queen size bed on main level with its own bathroom. Property is gorgeous, just a hair too far for me to VIR. But on a positive note got to see some great country side going back and forth. Wish it had been warmer and not rainy to hang out on the porch or take advantage of fire pit. Host was proactive with check in and out information, no issues at all....great property a little tight in the kitchen for a large group of people but we figured it out...Thank you so much for giving us a warm, dry, and clean place to stay.

What a gorgeous home! This stay exceeded all of our expectations. From start to finish, Mark was informative and easy to communicate with. He even gave me the perfect recommendation for a local place to do a long run during our stay. Mark’s home was clean and filled with everything we needed. I love that this is clearly a home Mark and his family visit often, and it felt like being in our own home. The kids were comfortable and entertained, my husband relaxed in front of the tv, and I got to spend time reading on the dock. This was a 5 star experience and we will definitely be back!

The home is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and spacious. The kitchens are well stocked and the cookware is in excellent condition. We appreciated the Bluetooth options for listening to music on the boat dock or by the pool. Lake Hyco is a pretty lake and we rented a pontoon boat one day to explore and enjoy being on the water. They delivered and picked up the boat from the dock at the house. Wonderful family memories as we celebrated my 60th birthday and we would love to return. I truly fell in love with lake living!

This Cottage is a hidden gem! Location is perfect and the pictures doesn't do justice. Our stay was simply awesome from easy check in and checkout process. Home away from home. Thank you! Will certainly check this Cottage availability the next time I am the area.

I really enjoyed my stay at Calyn's Place. Very clean and comfortable. It felt so much like home, reminded me of my childhood days spent at Grandparents home on the family farm. The open space in the home, with beams of Sun light peaking through. It is a very Peaceful and Quiet area. Calyn added a nice touch of welcoming with some Praline Pecans. Mickey's place was the perfect getaway for our anniversary. It was secluded, had an awesome lakeview, and had the most gracious hosts who have been married for 39 years! I am a public school teacher who teaches children with exceptional needs. I have been trying to get to the beach since Spring Break. My husband said, "Since you like to fish, have you looked for lakes?" So, I looked and found Mickey's spot. It was perfect! Two days before check-in, I fell at work and fractured my foot and possibly my knee. I bought vacation insurance and could have cancelled because it has stairs to the unit, but I was really looking forward to going. Mr. Mickey and his wife, Mrs. Ann, were very accommodating. They used their utility vehicle to take me down the path to the lake for a boat ride and to fish. Mr. Mickey even let me reel in a fish that was on his line so everyone caught a fish! I went back on the dock the next morning and caught one on my on line!😊 We look forward to our next trip back!

This place was adorable! Very easy to make yourself at home. We only stayed a couple nights, but will definitely rebook in the future if we can!

This was a stunning, home-like retreat with cozy furnishings and great natural light on a private side street within easy walking distance of Duke's East Campus and downtown Durham. The hosts were quick to respond when I needed something. Often an Airbnb is in a great location but not that nice, or vice versa. This, for me, checked all the boxes. Highly recommend and hope to return.

Great place to stay near the River District in Danville. Neighborhood is up and coming and full of friendly people. Can walk to restaurants in the River District. About 7 minutes from the casino. Comfortable space with enough room for one or two couples to stretch out and relax. Love the spacious front porch for relaxing with friends. We have stayed here two times for alumni weekends for HMA and it has been perfect both times.

Loved this quaint space! Felt right at home and Taylor and Dylan were super helpful and responsive.

Jodi is a great host and was super fast in responding. The apartment was super clean and lots to do within walking distance. This was my second stay and I would come back again for sure.

We stayed in unit 203 after having booked a different unit. While on our way Jeff called to say the previous booking needed to extend their stay and offered us this larger unit at no extra cost. Jeff was professional and courteous and we were gracious for the upgrade at no cost for our “inconvenience”. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking to spend some time in downtown Danville.

Booked this place for my parents to stay. They enjoyed their stay and loved the pretty courtyard of the community. The location was also very convenient, close to downtown Durham and Duke campus. They said they would like to stay here again.
