Such a sweet home on the lake. Perfect getaway for our family. We hope to be back in the summer months! Highly recommend for a scenic quiet spot to stay and enjoy the outdoors.

If you are looking for a place that is beautiful and has lots of room to spread out, this one is for you. Our large family gathered here for a fun filled family vacation. We loved loved loved the hot tub! It ended up being a cooler weekend so it was perfect. We rented a jet ski from a place in Detroit Lakes to add to the fun. All of the outdoor levels were wonderful! Also, there was a very comfortable bed in the master bedroom! I highly recommend it!

This place was awesome. A group of 10 of us stayed and had a great time hanging out in the very private location. The log cabin was very cool. The hot tub was massive was able to fit everyone comfortably. Unfortunately it was negative 6 degrees the entire time we were there so we couldn't use the fire pit outside but it was perfect for hot tubing, hanging out inside and playing games. There was a couple of cool towny bars closeish that we stop at on the way up but once there didn't feel the need to leave. We went hiking down the frozen river for 2 of the days and it was very cool. The way down to the river is a little steep so highly recommend good boots. We went slow but everyone felt comfortable getting down there. The other recommendation is to plan ahead with meals cause it about a 20 min drive to the nearest grocery store. We made all of the our meals there and the kitchen had everything we needed for utensils and kitchen stuff. The 3 full bathrooms was clutch. The group said mult

We had an excellent time at Angie's place on 3rd Crow Wing in Nevis. The cabin was exactly as pictured, perfectly cozy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen and pantry were well stocked, and everything else from beds to bathrooms to the wood-burning fireplace and hot tub made the cabin perfectly inviting. Guess instructions were clear and check-in/out were easy. Would love to visit again!

This cabin was an outstanding group get away for my birthday! In our 4 day stay we never ran out of things to do as the amenities were great! The furnishings were clean and comfortable. Any questions we had our Host was quick to respond and extremely helpful. We are already planning our return!

Great experience and location for a getaway! Hosts were very accommodating with an earlier check in and later check out time. Very proactive with snow removal (it snowed overnight and driveway was plowed and area around our cars was shoveled before we even woke up.) Gorgeous cabin with great amenities. Massage chair was such a hit with our group, as was the hot tub and provided hammocks. Highly recommend!

Talk about a cabin in the woods!! We went here for my dads 60th birthday weekend and everything went great. There were 8 of us and a 2 year old toddler. Plenty of space to hangout all together and not feel crowded and big enough to have your own space/alone time! The kitchen is immaculate, one of the largest kitchen islands we have ever seen! It was great. We also loved how all of the cabinets and drawers were labeled! Huge help in such a large kitchen! The two extra refrigerators/freezers were fantastic in the oversized pantry. Hot tub was great & the outdoor fire pit we used every night! All bedrooms were good a good size & we enjoyed that 4 bedrooms had an ensuite bathroom. It was the perfect up north getaway with the family.

We had an absolutely lovely and cozy experience. We stayed the last weekend of October, and despite the chilly nights, the cabin was toasty warm. The stars were incredible and the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. We loved the kerosene lamps and reading while rocking on the porch. We hope to come back for a longer stay next time and visit the local Amish shops. Thank you to John and Ruth for sharing your lovely cabin! We enjoyed the photos and news clippings in the photo album so much.

This was my first experience doing a mini vacation for myself and I picked the absolute perfect location. It wasn’t around a ton of other cabins and only 14ish minutes from town if I needed anything. I will absolutely tell everyone in my life about this and encourage them to choose this cabin. Definitely will be doing this again.

Cabin on Cove was amazing! The surroundings were beautiful the cabin was excellent and was exactly as described. The house had everything you would need and more. The cabin setup was perfect for our family of 5 and everything inside the cabin was so nice. We all especially loved the shower, the rainfall shower head was such a nice touch! Tina helped us locate a place to rent a boat before we even completed the booking. We were able to get a fishing boat in October and had so much fun fishing. The kids caught so many different types of fish - Perch, sun fish, walleye, bass and crappies. And it was so close to Itasca State Park. We spent a wonderful day there exploring. Icing on the cake was the Keurig machine with hot chocolate, the kids went insane! And all the games. I think we played about 100 games of Sorry! Thanks Tina and Crew!

This was our second stay at Michael's place. Just as before, we found it very accommodating, clean, and in a great location. Very quiet and peaceful with lots of beautiful trees around. It has been challenging to find quality accommodations when we visit Wadena so we have really appreciated this cozy cabin!

We had an amazing getaway. This location was perfect for the two of us and our dogs! We can’t wait to book in the summer and fall to see the foliage on the property. After day trips to 2 state parks with our dogs, our favorite amenity was coming home and building a cozy fire in the wood stove. 10 out of 10 experience!

My husband and I spent a Wednesday thru Sunday long weekend at the cabin, and we would easily do it again! So many thoughtful touches and features by the owners make this a very enjoyable place to stay. I don't know how the AirBnB folks do it, because everyone's "triggers" are different for what makes it special and for us, it was a winner. The major things were an overall vibe that casual and comfortable and a host that communicated very well and addressed any needs. A small sampling of other things that created joy were a welcome basket of s'more fixings, tasteful decorations, an incredibly warm throw to cuddle on the couch with, dog dishes and TREATS (!) for our dogs, well stocked kitchen and bathroom, great chairs for sitting on deck, a wonderful beach/dock area for kids/dogs, ability to BBQ and have a great outdoor meal. Also, would highly recommend the Troll search. Very unique and fun! Visiting Walker MN and Itasca State Park with the fall colors was wonderful as well!

a rare find...cabin so close to the water, the dock and beach/firepit area! saved us a ton of walking with very minimal amount of steps. beautiful view of lake from almost every window. right off the road but amazingly very private! my daughter and i enjoyed every minute of our stay. nice dock, nice decks, nice cabin!!!

The Sunfish Cabin was a lovely little getaway for a weekend! It has a lovely view of the lake and a great spot to watch the sunsets. My friend and I really enjoyed kayaking and paddle boating. It was super nice the resort had those options available to use for free!

The cabin was so great, and the view was even better! Parking was a squeeze, but worth it! We would definitely come back.

The cabin had lots of thoughtful details and more than everything we needed. There were a good range of bed options for us to choose our preferred mattress firmnesses. We appreciated the homey feel, all the nice light, and the lovely outdoor spaces to hang out. The lake seemed particularly clean and good for swimming. It was a truly relaxing place for a little fall retreat, and the hosts were flexible and generous. I hope we can stay again some day!

Our stay here was just perfect! The place is so extremely clean (both the main house and guest house), has eveything you need, the yard is big and so well maintained, the views are stunning, the lake just steps away is quiet and peaceful (we caught so many fish!), the guest house was so fun for our four young boys, the host was so kind and responsive...just everything about our stay here was perfect! It truly felt like a home away from home! So clean and cozy. So many wonderful memories made there for our family. We will definitely be back! Thanks for everything!

The cabin was clean and comfortable for our family, with easy access to a beach and the lake. Great spot for families with kids of all ages. We plan to come back!

Everything was as advertised. We canoed from the airbnb to Huntersville. We left about 11am and arrived at Huntersville around 5pm. We had Dorothy at the outfitter in Huntersville drop off the canoe the evening before we canoed and she gave us a ride back to the airbnb when we arrived in Huntersville after canoeing. We had a wonderful time at this airbnb and hope they will allow us to stay again in the future. We would have loved to have been able to stay longer. We were so thankful for the opportunity to enjoy the Crow Wing River. Thanks so much Matt and Madeline. You are wonderful hosts!

We had a great weekend away and really appreciated the ramp accessibility for my dad, who uses a 4 wheel walker. Great hospitality and beautiful lake!

Very private and peaceful stay. Beautiful cabin, nicely furnished, with a great view of the lake, facing southwest. We captured a beautiful sunset Laura responds quickly and is very friendly and accommodating. Very nice and safe neighborhood, especially the path out to the peninsula.

Stayed 2 nights and 3 days with a couple buddies. Everything was as pictured and described. We had a little trouble with Google navigating us to the wrong place but Aaron's thorough description of the approach to the property confirmed pretty quickly what we suspected and it wasn't too far away from the correct way to get there. The cabin itself is simple but everything you need for a relaxing retreat from the world and it's close enough to nearby cities to quickly get something if you need it. The lake is small enough and out of the way enough that it's not constantly noisy with people and you can actually enjoy the nature you're in. As an added bonus firewood is provided which is a huge plus! All in all, it was a great place to stay and enjoy a simple peaceful weekend. Would definitely recommend it to someone looking for the same.
