We loved Troy's house during our stay. The house itself is very clean, and the backyard and lake area are beautiful! Definitely would recommend this to other travelers.

Such a great place to stay. So CLEAN!! Nice hosts! Had everything we needed. Quiet location while being close to so much! I usually don’t love staying somewhere attached to the house- but this was by far the best experience we have had with a spot like this!

It was a nice stay, and the pictures described the inside very well. I wish there were photos of the exterior and more zoomed out photos of the interior before I booked it. Overall it was a good space and comfortable.

I stayed at the Flip Flop Inn in October 2024 with my husband and 2 year old son. The Flip Flop Inn was exactly as described and a great place for a family to stay. Stacey even had a baby gate and child lock on the cabinets. The tub worked well for bathing a toddler and for adult shower. The space was very clean, warm on cold nights, and was a nice private space. Not sharing a wall with anyone else meant we did not have to worry about toddler noise waking others. The area was very quiet and we slept well. The host was very responsive when we had questions. The Airbnb is about a 10-15 minute walk or short drive to Beulah restaurants and the town public beach. US 31 is very close and it's within 45 minutes of Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes, 10 minutes from Frankfort and Lake Michigan, and 10 miles from Crystal Mountain. Accessibility note: the Airbnb is located up one flight of stairs and the 6 foot long path from parking to the door is slightly uneven.

Lovely space in a former motel that feels like an apartment. Main room is a great hangout space, with kitchen, a big table, couches, and TV. Kitchen was functional and useful, absolutely able to cook proper meals with it. Bedroom arrangements worked ok for our group of 6 adults, although the second bedroom doesn't afford much privacy. Fortunately, there are 2 nice full bathrooms, which help for changing clothes etc. Parking is super easy, as was access to the space. Location is fantastic, and the shops and restaurants downtown are a 5-10 minute easy walk. Host was quick to respond, and overall had no troubles at all. Overall, definitely recommend this space!

I very much enjoyed my stay! The apartment was cozy, and it had everything I needed. It was just a short walk from downtown, and I felt very comfortable in the neighborhood. Scott was a very friendly and communicative host, and I would definitely stay there again!

There are not enough words to describe the relaxing atmosphere of this delightful spot. It's clean, relaxing and just the right amount of simple. See you next October.

Great spot for a couple to enjoy all of Frankfort. Easy parking, walkable to everything, a couple minutes from the beach. We loved the spot overall, but worth noting it would probably be tight for more than two people and the double mattress is pretty squishy.

The space has been uniquely updated and quite unexpected when you enter the marina. The unit has lots of space glowing with natural light and clean yet cozy design/furnishings. It is walking distance to several great local spots for eating and drinking and a short drive from any number of the magnificent natural areas Frankfort and the surrounding areas on the coast are known so well for...beaches, lakes, great hiking trails, bluffs and meadows, etc. I found the location to be fantastic and perfect for a family or two couples. I will admit that I found the pricing to be a bit steep at first, but after seeing the spacious unit, bedrooms, and the thoughtful design and character I recognize the value. It was immaculately clean and felt really fresh and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this space. The hosts were great and responsive. Thanks!

Maplewood Loft was just as expected - except a little bit nicer. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I slept great and was convenient for my trip to Interlochen. Nice to have a fully equipped kitchen. Good wifi too.

Really great place to stay, so clean and a lot of well thought out details. I really enjoyed the sleeping nook. Ireland was helpful and flexible when it came to check-in. We would stay here again for our next ski weekend.

Michael's place was great. It was centrally located. When we walked outside there was a view of Lake Michigan. I would stay here again!

This Airbnb was perfect! The location was great and the space was exactly what you see with the pictures. We had a really nice trip & a huge reason for that was the ease with this Airbnb. The place does have thin walls, so you can hear the other unit if people are talking on a louder decibel. The host does state that this is shared & to respect you neighbors, so we did not have a problem. I also believe the host would step in if anyone was being too rowdy, but you might want earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Overall, it was a great stay & I would recommend it!

We have been making an annual summer trip to Ludington for about 10 years. We have stayed at several hotels over the years, and Mitten Flats has by far been our favorite place to stay. We needed to upgrade for more space, as our kids are teenagers now. Mitten Flats offered us plenty of space. It is also a great location. Both the beach and pier are a very short walk, and we also walked to town a couple times, as well, in about 7 minutes. We used the shared deck and fire pit a couple of times, which was lovely. The host(s) were excellent at communication and fast at responding to questions. It was the perfect size for our family of five. We had a great family vacation.

A great location one block to the beach and walkable (for most) to downtown/restaurants. Clean and property as shown in photos. We used the outside common quite a bit which was very nice! .

Booked this AirBnB for a weekend ski trip up north. The check-in was very flexible which was nice because we wanted to ski on check in day. The house was very cozy and inviting. Very clean and taken care of. It offered a lot more room than I expected. The hot tub was spectacular, very hot and the jets are wonderful. Check out was super accommodating as well and the host was very responsive to questions. Only trouble we had was that the furnace has some trouble keeping the house warm during a blizzard. Having the garage was super nice during the blizzard though. It seemed like during our stay most of the neighborhood wasn’t there so it was very quiet and peaceful. Seems like a neighborhood with a lot of summer homes. If you’re going in the winter be sure to take a car with AWD because the roads were pretty difficult to drive on in my tiny sedan. Not the BnB’s fault, but just a warning.

My partner and I loved staying here over the winter holiday. It was very well-thought out design in such a small space and most things we needed for our stay were included by the host. It seems like they thought of everything and we agreed that this would be a very nice place to stay in the summertime. The only thing I’ll say is that I don’t think the Airbnb could sleep 4 - when the Murphy bed is down, there isn’t much room remaining. We were very comfortable but we are two fairly small people. This is an excellent space for a couple! Thank you again.

The accommodations were great for our small family attending a destination beach wedding. We could easily walk around to the parks and downtown events. The location is awesome, easy to find, park, and even hang out on the cute deck playing games once we settled in. The hosts were very responsive and friendly too. We had a wonderful weekend stay.
