Great place, very clean, comfortable and convenient to fuel, shopping, restaurants and the Harley dealership!! Rustic exterior, right on the main road but still quiet and private. The interior was clean and spacious. The basement apartment was great! Excellent place to stay!!

Nice quiet spot off the main path. Beautiful scenery and a path just outside the house. Lots of wildlife and things to do for children. Would recommend to anyone.

A really nice secluded cabin. We loved the we could bring our dogs! The cabin was very clean. It was secluded, private and beautiful! We would highly recommend it. More than that we plan on going back and very much look forward to it!

We had a glorious time in the hills staying at Joy’s little red inn. The kids enjoyed the large front yard for playing and the adults enjoyed the fire and beauty that surrounded the property. We enjoyed being close to Custer and Joy being so responsive to us. We hope she will have us back soon!

I had a one wonderful evening of solitude at the cabin, and I'll return again in a heartbeat with my entire family. What a spectacular spot. The listing makes it clear, but all prospective guests should take note - no plumbing, no electricity. Outhouse/vault is a few steps away from the cabin. You bring your own everything, including bedding. You are completely alone out there, except for the sounds of the birds and the coyotes. Paradise! Note also that the stream was very shallow and silty and not swimmable when I was there in September. Not sure if the level rises much in the spring, but looks like it! Thanks Amy and Phil!

I couldn’t be happier with our stay! The area was gorgeous and we loved looking at the wildlife from our balcony. There was so much for the kids to do from riding horses to playing in the creek. Lee Ann and Rich were so kind and helpful. I hope to go back soon and stay there again!

Amy & Phil were amazing hosts. Their property is breathtaking and our accommodations were just perfect. We felt right at home and their hospitality was top notch. The breakfasts were simply amazing and we enjoyed the farm to table choices. We will definitely be back next time we visit the Badlands. Thank you for hosting us.

We absolutely loved our stay here. There were toys and games for the kids, and the adults relaxed and did a puzzle with the beautiful surroundings. The house was big and had a lot of space for everyone, was decorated well, and had everything we needed. It was a great first air b and b experience.

Great location for a couple secluded in a beautiful area, but easy trip to town

We had a wonderful stay at Clint’s home! The area is peaceful and has such a beautiful view. The house itself offers so much space and everything we needed. Clint is on site in a separate building. He was not at all intrusive, but was available if we needed anything. We highly recommend staying here! It was a great, central location for a variety of day trips - Custer State Park, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and on and on…

My family had a great time at Liana's farmhouse. It is a restored old farmhouse with tons of space and everything we needed. The kids loved seeing the animals, they really are all as friendly as the other reviews say. My kids want a Lucy of their own now! We all loved having the hot tub on cold nights and it was so quiet and peaceful. We could drive to every Black Hills attraction and Badlands in about an hour. Rapid City was 15 mins away with stores and restaurants. It was a beautiful place and we'll never forget our South Dakota adventures.

We had a great time. The house was exactly as described. Very clean and beautiful. If anything it felt much bigger than shown in the photos. April was on lightning top of any questions we had and always very helpful. We would definitely come again. Thanks April!

Beautiful, renovated vrbo! Beds and pillows were comfortable. Extremely nice to have attached bathrooms. So cutely decorated. Lots of room. Nice downtown location with a bar/eating place right across the street. Loved being able to bring our dog with and an outdoor area for him. Parking right infront of unit. Would love to stay here again. The only thing is if you have small children the creaky wood floors are noisy but adds to the ambience!

This hidden gem is the perfect place to stay out in the black hills. The central location is what we liked about it so much, it is a short trip to all the places we wanted to go. The host is very quick to respond and make sure everything is good. We would definitely stay here again. The only downfall is that our trip ended and we had to go home!!!

Luke’s place was terrific - the garage was a bonus and we liked the different heat zones in the house. We found the kitchen well stocked and easy to use. Plus Luke was easy to communicate with and gave lots of local ideas. If you stay here be sure to go to Skogen Kitchen and Hjem Restaurants. Best dining experiences we’ve had on our travels.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were biking the Mickelson Trail and the location was adjacent to the trail, which was very convenient. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. We felt right at home. Just beware that there are cattle nearby and that means flies, which is important to know if you plan on wanting to hang out on the patio. We would definitely stay here again.

Wish my stay wasn't so short, I was in the area for only a short time. It was perfectly accommodating for my needs. I always like looking for an Air B & B before a hotel. This place is a treat, highly recommended.

We loved it here and will be returning in the summer for another mini vacation. Sarah is very nice and helpful. 10/10 recommend!!

Shana’s place is comfy, cozy, impeccably clean and perfect for activities, especially attending the Custer State Park Buffalo RoundUp! Shana gave us great tips for enjoying the RoundUp with over 20,000 people in attendance. The whole experience was made better knowing we were ‘coming home’ to a wonderful property. I highly recommend staying here and meeting Shana.

The location, house and amenities were perfect! We loved how quiet, peaceful and private it was. Thank you so much for opening the hot tub during the off season. Mornings were perfect sitting in the hot tub, watching the sun rise, listening to and watching the wildlife, all while drinking a cup of coffee. We have already talked about returning and have recommended this location to other family. Thank you again, the process and description were spot on!

David's home was in a perfect location to explore the area. Custer is 5-10 mins drive away for any essentials and restaurants/shops. Rapid City is only about 45 mins away. All the main attractions are within 20-30 mins away as well. The house was really clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Everything was labelled which made it easy. David is also a proactive communicator and if we needed anything, I think he would have addressed it right away. All in all, we couldn't have asked for anything more. We had a great time staying at the house and would definitely book it again when back in the area.
