The cabin was really nice with comfortable accommodations and everything you need. There is a road that runs in front of and behind the cabin that has quite a bit of traffic on the weekend as the road is an entrance to a park/campground and it was a holiday weekend. This was a benefit to us though as we love to hike and could walk to or drive within a couple of minutes to several really great trails! Having the heated in ground pool for my daughter was amazing and when we had some issues with Bees the owners handled it right away. This is definitely a cabin in the woods by the water so come prepared with bug repellant. We did venture out to some local wineries and a lavender farm/winery but would have been just as content to enjoy the cabin and the property! Overall we really enjoyed this place and would totally go back when we are visiting the Harrisonburg area.

My spouse and I recently enjoyed a short romantic getaway in West Virginia. We chose to stay at Jennifer’s cottage because we loved the interior design, the hot tub, the fire pit, and, of course, the adorable animals on the property. We could not help but admire them - they were very cute! The cottage was fully-equipped, and the hot tub was clean. There were plenty of logs available for the campfire, and the area was wonderfully peaceful. The host also prepared some sweet amenities for us, and we were able to make s’mores by the campfire in the evening. I highly recommend staying at Jennifer’s cottage.

Perfect quiet rustic yet clean and charming get-away. Proximity to Seneca Rocks was stellar. Surrounded by a horse farm, we got to experience the pleasures of simplicity. From the photo album of the transformation of the place, to the hand written notes, the fire pit, to the local maps, to the 3 dimensional mountain farmland road, it was an awesome experience.

Excellent stay at Jennifers place. Top notch all around. Spotless clean, fresh eggs, and a wonderful location. 10/10

Loved our stay! Wonderful hosts with great communication. Each day began with coffe on the front porch and ended with a soak in the hot tub — and beautiful hikes in between. The cabin had everything two Minnesotans in search of spring could possibly need- right down to containers for packing up our lunches for the trail. Highly recommended.

Bradley's cabin was a beautiful cabin in an even more beautiful setting! They simply thought of everything from an exceptionally clean and updated space to homemade bread and honey. The cabin was so comfortable and both beds offered a wonderful nights sleep. Getting to see the abundant wildlife was a joy and I cannot remember a more peaceful Airbnb stay!

Beautiful little cottage with some very cute neighbors. The host communications were proactive and very helpful. Internet connection was great, which is hard in the mountains, so that was very much appreciated. Thank you for a great weekend!

We loved the farmhouse and hope to stay again! It’s historic but nicely updated and everything was very clean. The farm is beautiful and we enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the river. Darell and Cindy were very responsive and friendly.

What a charming little place tucked away in the Shenandoah Valley. Absolutely great place to unplug, get away from TV and the "noise" out there. Instead, we listened to the rustling leaves in all their fall splendor. Really enjoyed the breakfasts each morning -- highly recommend the biscuits with sausage gravy!!! Harrisonburg is only 25 minutes, in case you want to get into for plenty of options...we were only there for a weekend, but felt like we really got to escape the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend it if you are looking for a nice, rustic, "unplugged" couple of days away from it all.
